If it is the surprise round then I suppose I'll shoot my bow, but I'd prefer that they got closer before that.
GM Nayr
After the chief roars for a bit in anger, getting his apes worked up nearly into a frenzy, he moves to advance forward out from the cave. He advances slowly, casing rage-filled eyes back and forth through the foliage.
His smaller minions move out from their leader along a line in what looks to be a practiced formation. They move in pairs - one armed with a club and another with a crossbow and a sack of what look like rocks at its waist.
The more quickly moving and smaller apelike creatures cast wary glances left and right.

After Tap begins his rhyme, the Charau-ka on the flanks sets sights on the group, howl, and rush in! One of each pair wields a club and seems to go into a shrieking frenzy as it approaches the group. The other two move forward to line up a shot with crossbows.
One rushes forward from the southeast, intent upon bludgeoning Sunyata. Double move
Another rushes from the north, and is able to get off an attack with its club on the captain.

Sunyata slips inside the ape's guard and slams the inside of the creature's arm with a single knuckle punch, punishing it for swinging at her. It shrieks and clutches its arm back to it, leaning back as it does. Luckily for the little beast, it just slips out of the way of Sunyata's follow up elbow, which would have flattened its wide nose.
GM Nayr
The chief stands tall and watches his minions begin the attack. With a snarl, he drops the chain leashes holding back his minions, and the dire apes roar, then charge at the group, loping quickly on hands and feet.
The chief moves along behind, more slowly, waiting to watch a slaughter.
Double move actions for all - the apes are in melee range for next round. The chief would need to move again.

GM Nayr
Tap fires his arrow into the back of the smaller Charau-ka, and the smaller beast falls with a pitiful howl, trying ineffectually to claw the arrow out of its back as it scorches his flesh.
His fellow ape to the north rushes down to the south, pulling a rock from a pouch on his belt as he does. Once closer, he hurls the rock at Tap, which hits the captain squarely in the chest.

GM Nayr
Jack dashes forward and impales the ape in front of him, but the blow is a bit off center and seems to miss its major organs. The ape howls in pain and seems to redouble its efforts.
As Rush's spell finishes, one of the dire apes locks onto the wolf, perhaps seeing a natural enemy, and charges towards it.
Sunyatta up! Did you want to do the same thing to attack the monkey that Jack just stabbed?
GM Nayr
Sunyata uses her trained abilities as a monk and summons her ki to afford her swift feet and hands.

The ape attacked Jack draws blood with one of its claws, but the quick pirate escapes the bulk of damage. Sunyata seems nearly to dance as she gracefully dodges the attacks of the other ape. The wolf, however, is not so lucky, as it is flattened to the ground by the chief's massive club.

If attacked, Jack will expend one panache to execute an Opportune Parry and Riposte:
Opportune Parry and Riposte (Ex): At 1st level, when an opponent makes a melee attack against the swashbuckler, she can spend 1 panache point and expend a use of an attack of opportunity to attempt to parry that attack. The swashbuckler makes an attack roll as if she were making an attack of opportunity; for each size category the attacking creature is larger than the swashbuckler, the swashbuckler takes a –2 penalty on this roll. If her result is greater than the attacking creature’s result, the creature’s attack automatically misses. The swashbuckler must declare the use of this ability after the creature’s attack is announced, but before its attack roll is made. Upon performing a successful parry and if she has at least 1 panache point, the swashbuckler can as an immediate action make an attack against the creature whose attack she parried, provided that creature is within her reach. This deed’s cost cannot be reduced by any ability or effect that reduces the number of panache points a deed costs.

The Chief blinks away in an attempt to clear his vision, but to no avail. He roars in anger as he is effectively blinded by the dust.

Jack moves with unnatural swiftness, slashing away at the dire ape with a perfected form that is dazzling to watch. The cut across the ape's massive chest sparks with electricity before it begins to weep blood. The ape seems to shrink back, its natural ferocity cowed.
Sunyata stuns the smaller Charau-ka she had been battling, then swipes a hairy arm to the side with a well timed pull, drawing the creature into a rear naked choke as she forces it to the ground. Perhaps her rage is too much to restrain, for the creature's neck snaps like a twig as it falls to the ground.
10 damage to dire ape and it's shaken. Chief is blind, and another charau-ka down - nice work! I'll update with the chief and dire apes tonight.
GM Nayr
The ape shaken by Jack's attack makes his own, perhaps mostly out of desperation. His attacks lack the raging anger they had preciously.

The other ape tries to catch Sunyata as she stand, ripping and clawing with its natural weapons.
Bite: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

The terminology is more for effect; you weren't actually prone or kneeling, or you'd have penalties. Sunyatta is flanked, with attackers at all corners but one. I'd suggest having her take a five foot step back out of the flank next turn.
The chief, still unable to see, takes a wild swing at where Sunyata had been...as far as he can remember.

Jack deftly slips aside as the ape attacks, making each swipe or bite miss with just slight movements and redirects.
Sunyata gets back to her footing, as the ape tries to lunge in for a bite. She stuffs him with an elbow to the chest, creating space. As the ape roars and claws away, she ducks, only to crouch too short, taking a swipe on her shoulder.
The chief swings a mighty slashing strike and Sunyata, only to miss terribly as he swipes empty air well above her head.
8 damage to Sunyata. Tap's up!

Sorry Jack, missed the parry
Jack's riposte is vicious, skewering the lunging ape nearly dead center in its chest. The beast roars in pain and slips back off of the blade with rumbling growl. It still stands, but only barely.
The captain's arrows fly true and slam into the ape, even after the deft archer adjusts so as not to his his companion. The smoldering arrows send acrid smoke up into the breeze as the ape's fur burns. It howls in agony, providing a fine accompaniment to his fellow's growls.
GM Nayr

Holy cow Jack! Nice one. And, yes, though I thought in error that it was at the beginning of their round. It's actually at the end of their previous turn. I'll roll it before the chief attacks. Rush and Sun still up!
Jack poses before launching his deadly strike. His blade plunges into and through the Ape's eye, immediately shutting down connections to his brain. The beast twitches sporadically as it falls to the ground, fully and completely dead. Sparks from Jacks blade illuminate its one-eyed dead gaze in disturbing portrait.
