Sunyata, could I get a diplomacy check for rumors?

Diplomacy Check: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (20) - 1 = 19

what a roll... Natural 20!

Sunyata goes to figure out what's all going on at the tavern.. any rumors gossip news...

Śūnyatā performs an elaborate beautiful jump towards the Captain.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 20 + 8 = 43

High Jump (for her next action) spending 1 ki to get the +20 bonus to acrobatics check to make a stunningly big jump

attack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (9) + 14 = 23
damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
attack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (11) + 14 = 25
damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

Trying again with right bonuses
Monk BAB +3
Strength of 14= +2
Racial ability unyielding anger +3 bonus (increases strength to +6 from 14 to 20 for this round)
+2 from Tap's inspire courage
+Flurry of blows + 4/+4
So then it's +14 to hit.. Did I get everything??

TapTap wrote:

Go get 'em Sunyata!

Sunyata, pretty sure your rolls are not including all your bonuses. If you are some kind of monk, then your BAB should be +3. Then there is +2 for having a strength of 14. With the +3 bonus from increases strength this round per her racial ability you posted, and the +2 from Tap's inspire courage, your to-hit bonus should be at least +10. Fury of blows too? Then +12 to hit

Śūnyatā laughs wildly and pounds away.

I definitely need help keeping track of all the bonuses then I'm a monk basically, with some special features from the Disciple of the Raging Sea, I honestly feel out of the loop on combat with which bonuses go where... It's been like 15 yrs since I last gamed for real...

Śūnyatā jumps in to fight but something goes wrong like she seems slow or unable to completely hit well, yet she manages to do some blunt force damage.

attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
attack: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

Apply unyielding anger and expend psionic focus activating racial ability - Strength is increased to +6 for first round of outburst.. Flurry of blows + 4 to strength both attacks to start pounding the baddies

Sunyata sighs and jumps in after Rush and Jack. Time for action.
are we within hitting range yet??

Śūnyatā gets her heavy crossbow ready, and sets up her arrows.

I'm far better with my fists, but alright, this will do to start with.

Cap'n where do you need me?

I jus' hope they ain't no more undead... with the stench of rotten flesh an'all the maggots. So vile.

Thank you!

Cap'n ... They turnin'...

So where are we going?

I'm glad it hadn't already been cleaned out. Good work Jack. Thanks for helping me with that thing.. still gives me the willies... I don't know why they're called willies, but that's what that thing gave me.

swim: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15

Śūnyatā calculates the resistance of the water and threatened by feeling trapped under water explodes with energy and feels the power flow through her fists as she hits the creature twice..

attack 1: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
attack 2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

Śūnyatā cursing in every language she knows... Just great, what we needed, a deadsy UNDERWATER!!

Śūnyatā seeing Jack is going for it, she releases the creature and realizes they're screwed so in a panic of fight or flight she rages...

Apply unyielding anger and expend psionic focus activating racial ability - Strength is increased to +6 for first round of outburst.. can I flurry of blows as well to beat the crap out of the creature? Help on how to roll this out in dice expressions?

Character Sheet

Seeing how Jack struggled, Śūnyatā imagines the door to be really stuck, she tests it a bit with her hands...

Strength: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11

It feels heavily stuck so she uses her crowbar and gives it her biggest strongest effort to bust it open.

Strength: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

On the last pry it didn't seem as hard as she thought it would be, maybe being under water made it more pliable.

Śūnyatā gestures at Jack to come help her, and tries to pry open the barred door with the help of her crowbar.

Wow... Go auntie...

Śūnyatā brought her crowbar, an always useful tool when going down to the depths to open up a sunken ship... Good thing I brought this along, to ope chests, but doors might work too. She briefly studies the barred door, and tries to spot any traps and find where the door looks weakest.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23

She pulls out her crowbar off her hip to go to work...

Śūnyatā gestures to Jack to go through the door and tries to manuever herself but gets entangled on a set of ropes of the sunken mast.

Swim: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11

She tries to correct and tries again to go deeper towards the door. She breaks loose of the entanglement and heads towards the door.

Swim: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23

That's a good idea for searching while down there. I'll use whatever we got, an' hope it's worth the fuss, or hasn't already been gotten to.

Sunyata looks down the length of the boat vaguely skeptical.

You strike out across the bottom of the large Motaku Isle and strike north, heading between the large Motaku to the east and Besmara's Throne to the west. The days are largely miserable, as storms hit the seas, soaking everyone to the bone and rocking the ship endlessly on its trip. When you arrive at the preordained spot, per the map, you see little there. You reckon you're in water about thirty feet deep, but the bad weather recently has left it a bit murky. Lining up a mountain with the angle of the noon sun, you mark the spot, and drop anchor.

The map says that a ship went down here, and you had been told that there was treasure most likely untouched by pirate hands. But...well, it's at the bottom...so, who's diving in?

Emerging from below deck, Sunyata walks over to the edge of the rail, and pauses a moment mid-stride to look overboard at the spot the captain spoke of. A few sailors were pointing at where the ship would have been and indeed her seasoned sight could spot a dark shadow deep beneath. Born to the sea, a 30 foot dive was an easy task she could do without blinking.

Cap'n I can dive in to take a look. Whatever's down there, it's not that deep, and easy enough to reach.

Sunyata is a good swimmer (+8 to skill)

In full honesty after looking at Sunyata's sheet the psionics stuff is like trying to read stereo instructions in a foreign language without any pictures.

I get that she can sort of rage, but no clue for how long, or how it actually works

So if she gets all that, but needs a bit of help with another complex bit of the rules, I'm not judging at all.

If she wants my opinions or suggestions, I'm happy to help, if she doesn't I'm happy to not help.

Ironic indeed TapTap haha. I followed the instructions for creating the character from online sources. I'm fine with any tips or insights... I also couldn't find that much info on the psionic stuff for maenads, maybe I missed something.

The only part I'm having a hard time with in this character sheet is understanding what stats are the best exploited in this class and how to execute that in game, as I never played a monk before. What do I buff up on and exploit to develop the character in combat?

I also felt the stereo instructions without pictures. Haha good one.

I'll be most back in January after the 8th. Right now it's a circus of work, kids family visiting holidays today is my kids bday too.

Pls bot me for now. I'll be checking when I have access.

From within the captain's cabin, you hear a call - Jack's voice, you recognize.

Something is trying to board our ship!

Sunyatta, Tap, and Rush are all in the captain's quarters and hear the call. Feel free to roll initiative and act, having heard the call. All of the other crewmen will act on the initiative below

Sunyata nimbly springs to action and goes to her post. Unfortunately, she trips but recovers her balance without injury.

She suddenly realizes half an hour ago might not have been the best time to eat that sweetleaf cake. But in minutes everything would come into clear focus as part of the effect.

These minutes could feel like days. The slow motion view began.

Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Sunyata does not understand the references to things before her time with the crew, but graciously agrees to continue on with paying off the debt to Rickety... but she really is itching to sail to Plumetown. First things first... Rickety. Debt. Duty always comes before pleasure.

Sunyata chortles in a way that seems like her best attempt at a natural reaction of humor, but sounds like it went through too many filters of overthinking and comes out slightly eerie, something the crew is already accustomed to.

that's intense Jack. He musta really pissed you off. she looks at TapTap and adds that would mean it could be an undead pirate ship... this bodes ill.

Then she asks more generally, attempting to seem real casual, but just sounds overly deadpan. Has anyone heard of Plumetown?

More than a few times while in Quent, you hear a name whispered in the dark. Once spoke, the speaker looks about in concern, as if he'd just drawn down the ire of this fell beast upon himself.

The Deathknell...a ship of ghosts and creatures of the night, captained by a terrifying man named Master Scourge. The ship is rumored to be able to sink down into the deep and resurface, often to catch sailors unawares and add to its undead crew.

During a downtime moment when the group is altogether Sunyata brings up the rumor. I heard about this Deathknell, got the town real spooked, the wenches at the tavern last night are crossing their hearts to stave off the bad luck! Y'all heard of this before? Sounds strange that it can sink and resurface... it must be some kind of cursed or enchanted ship.

She attempts to figure out if this is something the crew should worry about.

Shanael sighs deeply as she melts into your arms with a deep kiss. She pulls back slightly, then takes her turn at whispering back, her breath heavy with passion. She notably doesn't bother to check the pouch's weight, but deftly slides it into her nearly non-existent robe.

The Smoker...a town named Plumetown. It's a volcanic isle of prophets, and also his base of operations. Very, very few know of that place...and good cover for the good captain, as the only people who ever want to go there want to hear their future from the oracles - the hags known as Keeba's Eyes.

You get the feeling that, if true, this information would be worth Shanael's life

The young woman caresses the skin of your cheek and looks into your eyes, perhaps gauging your reaction to such information.

When Shanael kisses Sunyata she feels Shanael's energetic imprint, something she's always been able to feel due to her psionic sensitivities, allowing her to feel the emotional textures of a person. She recognizes Shanael suffered a great deal to be as practiced as she is and under all that armor of charm, she is just a girl wishing for something or someone to take her from this life of constant stress and whimsical male desire. Sunyata can feel her need for security and feels how she became hardened with life and jaded with experience.

As Shanael studies her for her reaction to her words, she scrutinizes Shanael's face her for a moment to sense if she's lying. Sunyata recognizes that, if true, Shanael could be giving her a big clue that could indeed cost her her life and she feels instinctively protective towards the girl.

She breaks the silence with her inscrutable expression but her eyes are intensely studying the gal, her voice comes out much rougher than she intended, and definitely with a bit of a gruff edge, What do you stand to gain from this life, girl? She watches Shanael brush off the question as if not wanting to think of it... she adds with a very serious tone, If what you say is true, and I've yet to determine if it is... she pauses as if contemplating a deep thought and adds the ole bastard's about the hags! No wonder he ain't coming here!

She delivers the joke so deadpan, she's proud of the fact that she actually sounds funny, and feels validated when the chuckle coming from Shanael confirms she finally got the delivery of ONE joke, and there was ONE person at least to witness it!

She notes suddenly that beyond the obvious beauty, Shanael is a woman who is never naked even when her clothes are off. And of course, Shanael seems to know perfectly well what the cost of her information is worth as she DID TAKE the whole purse. Ahh Shanael, I like your style, you got guts, that's for sure. You're a smart cookie you are.

Sunyata adds a few coins on Shanael's nightstand, Thank you, you are quite the beauty, and it's been an honor doing business.

The interaction gives things a twist she hadn't expected and she feels awkward leaving just like that, like any John or Jane... like they shared a moment... she feels pushed by a need to offer something to the girl, sensing she could even be in danger for some reason... so she adds hastily, albeit genuinely (surprising herself even), If yer ever in need, find this ship she scrawls out the name of the ship on a scrap of paper Ask for Sunyata. I owe ye thanks as you've given me hope again. Be well.

She abruptly turns to leave for the door, her mind way ahead of her racing on what her next steps will be to track down that dog and make him pay.

Thanks for the insights! I definitely see the validity of all the different points! Haha yes! Vampire was just because she is kind of otherworldly and pale silver skin... Could be vampire like. Given the race they're described as having elflike beauty so the way I interpreted it was that a low charisma could simply mean being super awkward and not able to charm anyone worth her life, which definitely worked playing it out with her terrible smiling and such hahaha...like it's more freaky or even cartoonish exaggeration like when people try to put on a lot of affectation because they're not natural, she is practiced rather than charming. Fortunately the lackluster expressive style lends itself to low charisma. The way I interpreted the low intelligence for RP is that she gets stuck on her fixations and doesn't reason it out too much beyond her obsessions... NOT THAT SHE can't learn things or retain information she just doesn't reason it out on an abstract manner... BUT SHE HAS HIGH CUNNING ... Like an animal cunning which is a form of instinct intelligence, her analysis comes thru her instincts not necessarily abstraction... Make sense?

No worries GM about the shifts we'll roll with ya.. I'm having fun...!!

Shanael looks down at her slim hand, then takes the back of it and runs it along Sunyata's calloused one. The woman's soft skin was a complete contrast to that of the hardened pirate.

That's information that is dangerous to let float about, my dear. I'm afraid that's a fairly heavy risk for someone as simple, and vulnerable as me.
Her eyes flash, and you see that for the lie that it is.
I can help, but I would need to be taken care of, should I have to flee Quent under Redsail's wrath. For twenty gold, I can tell you what I know.
Assuming you pay her...
Captain Redsail, I know of, though he's typically seen with his skin under cover. He's a mysterious one, not known for even coming off of his flagship unless absolutely needed. And, what a sight that ship is to behold! Called "Bloodcutter", his ship has catapults, balistae, and some giant rolling cannon that spits fire! He usually came with two other ships, which were his escort - a paranoid one, some say.
I've heard that Redsail is going to make a try to become a Free Captain, by winning the Regatta that's coming up. What did you want to know about him?

Sunyata's immobile features are very hard to read, nearly inscrutable, her pale shock of silver hair against a glimmering silver skin... She looks at Shanael in a way that might be strangely piercing to some, especially if they've never been exposed or were not not accustomed to her people. Her people's gaze could be particularly intense, as if her violet eyes could pierce the veil of illusion, there was a reason her kind was almost eerie when they fixed their their gaze on something/someone.

She notes Shanael shows no discomfort at her implication of Redsail's skin, noting she knows little of him personally, meaning she hasn't bedded him. Sunyata knows well that he covers it, most warriors of stealth do. She was framing the question to checkmate Shanael to reveal if she knows anything more. Shanael clearly has some experience with her kind, she showed none of the typical discomforts people showed in her presence. That didn't just come from being a practiced wench. Her people's glimmering delicate beauty with their forceful impressive physical builds always caught the eye of other races.

Shanael, Shanael... you sure know how to draw out information to make it seem like a lot more than it really is for a pretty coin...

Sunyata knows how utterly private Redsail is, all too painfully. But she also know Shanael was testing her to see how much she could get out of her. .. hah! this one is about as vulnerable as a quietly raging sea... Well done Shaenael, well done! Good on you to get ahead in life however you can.
This was the clue, Sunyata was hoping for. Shanael told her much more than she realized... not only admitted she knew of the captain's actual whereabouts but basically confirmed he didn't frequent this place by giving her rumors she might have picked up from other sailors who talked about Redsail. This part genuinely surprised her. The Redsail she remembers was a violent aggressive viril male who was not shy to steer away from brothels... what changed?

Shanael was as fine as any polished beauty one could craft together, well-spoken, teeth were perfect, her skin was soft and inviting, she was almost too pretty to be in a brothel, she had some class to her. She had an elegance. If she wasn't so totally calculated and practice Sunyata might have even felt drawn to her, but this kind of woman tended to be rather transparent to Sunyata who was well aware of the quiet desperation that led this life.
This is exactly the kind of place the Redsail I know would find for a woman much like this one. What gives?
Sunyata's curiosity was piqued ... something didn't add up here.

Sunyata felt a sinking feeling in her gut as she thought all this in split second, she would probably have to go to Redsail in one form or another... she started quickly calculating how she might get close to him... how would she get near him without him recognizing her? She could cover her face and go all sevratke which was the exact attire for formal monks who covered their entire body except the eyes. It required full head cover, and the body was completely concealed in comfortable black or dark attire, she had one with her, and could probably get another made. Since leaving the temple, she tried to blend in as a pirate and wore more pirate-like heavy clothes, she was a little different from her peers who preferred all sorts of armor, she needed her body to breathe in combat. Her face was now exposed all the time, her own crew might get a few giggles out of her showing up all shrouded in full sevratke gear, but she would certainly look much more impressive in her full height and stance with her elf-like beauty. She weighed being seen versus being concealed. Concealed she could try to enter the ranks for the regatta Redsail was trying to win...

She nodded to Shanael Have any of the girls entertained any of Redsail's crew here? I can see you're slightly nervous about talking about him. I could get you passage off Quent if things got hot, for a price of course." She softened just as calculated as Shanael and pulled Shanael into her powerful body and softly said with her cheek against Shanael's [b]I'd like to know how to get closer to him, I want to know him. as she did this, she pushed the money purse on her belt against Shanael's body, who could feel it was full of coins, and squeezed Shanael slightly as to impose her physique on hers. It always worked.

She wanted to know how the captain managed his crew, if they came to the brothel, if they didn't, this would say a lot about the kind of crew he had and how disciplined they were.

Sunyata was so aware that she was not popular with people that she learned her lack of charm actually was perceived often as a kind of masculinity and women felt her as "strong" where in reality she lacked social finesse. It often worked in her favor with girls like Shanael who polished their charm to oozing sensuality. As she was the exact opposite, often it worked in her favor when she was trying to get information from women like this... they could be almost attracted to her fierce quality, and tended to want to please her. She learned this growing up in the brothels, and strangely this one was environment she knew how to manage with skill without being a wench herself.

I'm almost a real pirate ha ha

She needed to know more. She decided to go full sevratke as a formal disciple of her religion... Quent was big and varied enough there was all sorts of races milling about the place, she probably wouldn't attract that much attention. She decided after Shanael, she would find a way to get close to the crew. She needed to know his weaknesses before striking.

She also thought of how to manage this with the crew that had grown on her. She'd been alone so long, it was nice to have a crew she felt wasn't out to kill her.

The bartender blinks slowly, then smiles even wider. It might be that I'm off my shift be then...and I do love roses. She winks and drifts away, though she stops to cast a glance back over her shoulder.

Indeed!

Shanael is every bit the welcoming professional, quickly reading the fact that you're seeking her out. She dips her head in acknowledgement, slowly raising her eyes back up to meet yours, before turning with a flourish that sets her dazzling floral robe whirling up in her wake. Cool colors accented with fiery orange and yellow seem to work with the flaming red of her hair as she leads you upstairs with a swaying walk that seems quite well-practiced.

She leads you into a lavish room, richly decorated with trim of deep mahogany and red and gold furs. A fire burns low in the hearth, illuminating a four poster bet with a ribboned canopy.

Shanael turns, and reaches past you to lock the door, brushing up against you slightly as she does. Her pale skin shows the faint glow of the fire as she locks eyes with you and steps back into the room. Your pleasure, my lady?

She apparently doesn't feel the need to discuss pricing...perhaps that depends upon what you want.

Sunyata notes where the bartender gal looks to, she knows all too well the rules of these establishments, there's always someone watching. She mentally files it away as a detail that might bear some importance if needed, and she appreciates the effort it takes for Shanael's perfect image that suggests she can meet any client's wildest fantasy.

She follows her to the room and when the gal brushes up against her, she knows she's being checked in her every reaction and this is what the girls do, they study every move to find the chinks in the emotional armor of clients to exploit them and make the experience worthwhile for better coin.

She takes Shanael's hands in hers and sits on the bed with a serious tone. I need some information about a Captain who might have come through here, he has gone by the name Redsail, he's hard to miss, he has unusual skin that glimmers a bit, maybe now it may even seem like he has crystals embedded.

Sunyata hopes anxiously to get a clue from this girl and sizes up her responses.

She stands back up. Shanael, the redhead over there. That's your gal. But she's not cheap, so make sure you don't treat her as such.

Sunyata's naturally inexpressive face looks as if chiseled in stone, and she holds the gal's gaze evenly. She considers the bartender's comment and graciously smiles at the compliment. She dismisses any further entertainment of any thought about the bartender as lower impulses, and focuses on the matter at hand.

No woman is cheap. Ever. I'd never make one feel less than she is. She winks calculatedly, and leans in closer to the bartender... pauses to let a long silence string between them hanging like a thread, and her words pearls strung out slowly... If you'd like to take a walk on the docks later when the air cools a bit and the jasmines open to the night... I'd be keen on sharing some fresh air, gossip, and smellin' the proverbial roses. I'll be at the docks entrance after sundown. assuming it's still afternoon?

Without waiting for a response, she notes the desired effect of her words and intimations, drops two coins nonchalantly, grabs her drink, and walks towards Shanael. The bartender caught her attention because of how she talked to her, but she decided she had to focus on the actual purpose she was here for, not save every poor wench trapped in this life, or give into her lower impulses. Even if that wench was pretty cute...

Ladies in finery dance among them, often flitting from one to another to check in on them.

Taking a seat, you order a drink your choice, and the bartender, a busty woman with her ample assets proudly displayed as they burst out of her frilly shirt, smiles as she approaches with your drink. Here you are, my dear. What's your pleasure this evening?

Loathing the very air she was breathing in this place was enough to put her on edge... Sunyata hates brothels and everything they stand for. Poverty. Abuse. Betrayal. Death.

Sunyata also lined up for the docks right behind Rush, and beelined for the Calistria prostis. It's time to go get some information. Who's going wench hunting... We going wenchhuntin'

Sunyata keeps herself assigned to the duties that stay close to the conversations of others, studying the newcomers, she tries to get a sense of their origins, who's from where, figure out their motives, she quietly triangulates her attention on that which most burns her from the inside... The thought that never lets her sleep well, that creeps under every glance that she meets... Where are you?

She follows the conversation of her (now) mates, and learns to feel the mood of the ship, like the waters of the tides themselves, people's interactions flow and chop in rhythms. Sometimes good sometimes rough, Sunyata also observes where the points of tensions and harmony flow between the newcomers and the crew. For example, the older guy that just got on with this newcomer group, he's alright with the cook and the guys from the the squibbing crews. He helps, he doesn't complain, he's a contributor. But on the other hand, his scrawny companion is totally unnerving and wimpy to the guys who work on the ropes who are physically very fit. They don't like him at all. He feels too different and they're threatened of putting their life in the hands of a scrawny puny looking companion. She served on her shift with the kitchen help, and delivered a refill of ale to the brothers from the ropes crew talking about how you couldn't pay them to put their life on the line for the scrawny turd. She wasn't a wench, and yet the function of ale service proved useful to eavesdrop (and inevitable when serving).

Sunyata starts to shop among the many conversations, making herself of use, serving in some fashion to help get necessary daily tasks done while she also used the duties to listen in and gather information. As an easy travel companion she stays rather unobtrusive as a daily practice, and doesn't initiate contact with others, yet does not shy from contact when addressed and engages her companions in a simple, sometimes awkward, but honest and frank style.

The crew learns she has a daily religious kata in her martial arts. She will not interrupt for any reason and always makes her request for a time in the deck that doesn't require her on duty. Others have their diversion times, she carves out a small space to carry out a daily meditative martial sequence. She has been willing to share her meditative practice and a few sailors join her to learn some basic breathing movements.

Looking for JUICY nuggets GM, Sunyata doesn't really care about the small talk unless it provides her with actionable leads to her search - theoretically she is developing an intelligence research investigative side in which she is driven to get to know the ship's crew personally in the process, entering an informal spy role, yet she is so obvious with her sparkly skin, she might make a very unlikely spy.

Sunyata doesn't speak much to anyone. She is always there, she's always watching and seems to be drinking when not on duty. She helps with everything assigned without complaint or objection, from scrubbing decks, to cleaning latrines, to washing dishes, trying to pass the time while the others plot and plan whatever it is most pirates obsess over.

As a trained acrobat posessing an unusual flexibility and control, she helps with all the rigging when needed, and is fearless of heights so she spends time listening to the crew's plans and learning as many jobs as possible along the way from the seasoned sailors.

Now she patiently waited for the opportunity to arise... She needed information. She listens to the charger of the crew as they close in on the pirates ahead.

Sunyata awakens with a raging headache... She immediately reaches for her inner pocket and feels her belongings there and sighs with relief. She cleans up and makes her way to the deck. She squints to the horizon, orients herself looking around at who's working, and looks for where she needs to report.

Sunyata nods and answers TapTap raising a hand... Ble....hsinfmbduf my nokitnshu. All aboard the srubly rush need mohbs .. and then falls over hitting the ground with a loud thud.

After a few moments she comes to but doesn't seem to coordinate too well. Her eyes are glossy and red. Her skin is more sparkly than usual. She is clammy to the touch. She gesticulates somewhat jerkily, uncoordinatedly loses her balance from an almost sitting position, and passes out. After a few moments, she is snoring.

Her rum flask and a little box falls out her coat pocket onto the ground.

Sunyata throws in some squibbing shifts for a few extra coins for ale.

She studies the newly arrived and tries to summarize everything she's heard and seen about them, she assesses what opportunities might be concrete for her. The last run in with those charuka showed her she's not ready to take HIM on.

Looking for opportunities to get close to HIM, it's all she can think about... She goes to the tavern to drink to take the edge off burning fire of her obsessive replay of her scenario of revenge.

Sunyata studies everyone and goes hunting for an opportunity or intel.

was Sunyata present with the others to overhear their deal/talk?

Sunyata's skin glimmers like crystals embedded in her skin, translucent and rainbow-like. She stays stonefaced, at times appears as if she were a statue, or had supreme control of her facial micro expressions. Her mood was often inscrutable. She simply gazes very directly at whatever is drawing her attention.

She fixes her sight on Taptap. And suddenly as if the expression on her face wanted to crack with laughter she coughs brusquely and recomposes her poised self. She takes a swig from a small bottle tucked in her long coat.

He looks to Sunyata. Gonna' be about time for ya' to take a shift at the watchtower, you up for it?

Sunyata shrugs and pulls out her ale jug.
