From an open window on the secong floor of the temple you all can see Hirako hurl a chakram at a zombie 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 but it misses.
"We walk in the dark places no others will enter.
We stand on the bridge, and no one may pass.

Tassira Vantyev |

Round 1: Actions
The memory of Granny Odd's shop causes Tassira's eyes to widen.
"We walk in the dark places no others will enter.
We stand on the bridge, and no one may pass.
We bar the way to the dark,
We bar the way to the wicked
Behind us sleep the just
the innocent
the worthy
We bar the way lest darkness fall..." She recites.
A gate. We need a gate.
"A gate. A gate. A GATE!" She calls out, pointing to the temple entrance.
I hope this works, otherwise I'm going to look like an idiot...

Kariel, Oracle of Korada |
"...The Twelve of the Order of Draco?" Kariel ventured hesitantly, more than a little uncertain. The gods were many things, but clear and easily understood were rarely among them - with the knowledge she had, though, it was the best conclusion she could come to.
Kariel is thinking, and does not act this turn...

Tassira Vantyev |

Kariel's words hit Tassira hard, shaking her out of her panic.
Of course.
She readies herself.
"We walk in the dark places no others will enter.
We stand on the bridge, and no one may pass.
We bar the way to the dark,
We bar the way to the wicked
Behind us sleep the just
the innocent
the worthy
We bar the way lest darkness fall."
Her magic starts *buzzing* at her fingertips.
"We are the heirs of the Twelve, of the bloodlines of Rodger, Calinda & Gratz. The Living Gates against the darkness. And we shall not fall to you, or any other."

Tassira Vantyev |

Come on...
Tassira steps forward. The inscription from the weapons springs to her mind.
"A knight is sworn to valour." Colors spark at her fingertips.
"Her heart knows only virtue." Another step. Her eyes brighten.
"Her blade defends the helpless." A glow appears to coalesce around her.
"Her might upholds the weak." She raises her hand, her magic racing to the fore. She points it to the leader she damaged before.
"Her word speaks only truth." A glob of acid forms in her hand.
"Her wrath undoes the wicked." The acid *seethes* with power.
"Upon the Order of Draco do I swear this: NONE OF YOU WILL SURVIVE!"
The acid fires.
Ranged Touch Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 2
And thus ends my turn. To summarize:
Round 1 Actions
Free Action: Recite the oath of the Order of Draco.
Standard Action: Cast Acid Splash on the same one I attacked before.
And sorry for taking 3 posts to do it.

Tassira fires a glob of acid that nails the creature in front of Vigar
As Tassira launches the glob of acid, a flash of brillant white light fills the air , followed almost immediately by a thunderous roar and a blast of heat and electricty as a huge bolt of lightning discharges within arms length in front her. Five zombies are flashed fried instantly. Little bolts of lightning arc over and around Tassira but primarily between Tassira and the object left sticking in ground in front of her where the bolt struck. For some reason she is unharmed by the electricty.
In the ground in front of her point down is a bastard sword. On the tang a pair of dragons breath fire but closely looking at the flames they are actually words:
- "We walk in the dark places no others will enter.
- We stand on the bridge, and no one may pass.
- We Bar the way to the dark,
- We Bar the way to the wicked
- Behind us sleep the just
- the innocent
- the worthy
- We Bar the way lest darkness fall.
Futher down the blade the words Take Me are written.
Everyone including the zombies and Ju Ju zombies within 100 yards with the exception of the PC's and Hirako are blinded, deafened, and stunned for 3 rounds. Everyone effected also looses any remaining actions for this round.

Tassira Vantyev |

The shock of the lightning bolt causes Tassira's eyes to widen in complete surprise.
Tassira steps forward and claims the blade, holding it aloft.
Bar. Not a very imaginative name, is it? Oh well.
The power of the storm *crackles* and *sizzles* around her. She feels recharged. Rejuvenated. The power is almost overwhelming...
She turns to the party, electricity arcing all around her. When she speaks, her voice seems to echo the sound of thunder.
"Let's end this."

Vigar Savage |

The voice sounded dry just like Rowan. It even managed humor.
Then the skies opened up threw a tantrum. As his eyesight cleared, Vigar marveled at not being struck by that massive bolt of lighting and instinctively looks to Tassira.
Standing in what seems to be the epicentre of a thunderous lighting bolt frying several zombies and stunning the others is Tassira.
Hair flying in the wind, air filled with static as it smells like ozone with a sword held aloft.
Sword? Where did she get that? The Lightning Bolt?"
Then she speaks and his blood races and he answers with his own deep roar.
"Yes. Let's"
Bringing spear to bear as he rises from his crouch after exceuting such a high jump and stands tall with a savage grin.
Tassira had a He-Man Moment...

Rowan Mikalson |

Rowan stands dumbfounded for a moment, stunned by this development, but then he notices the zombies are disabled.
That should be way beyond her abilities. Either she is more powerful than I suspected, or something else happened. Hmmm...that oath...
That's a new one. Can you do that again?
As he says this, he continues swing his fauchard through the crowd.
Fauchard: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 201d10 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

Kariel, Oracle of Korada |
"...Interesting." Kariel said. She wasn't used to the actions of others sticking out more than she did - it was a rather novel experience for her, and she was actually quite pleased. This was probably going to do quite a lot of good for Tassira's self-confidence - and that was a wonderful thing. "If you're still listening, I have a question - and I won't be swearing any kind of oath until it's answered." she said quietly, not entirely sure how these voices were contacting her. Her magic was still fairly low, and given the developments, it was probably safe to say that the others could do a lot of damage to the zombies before they could shuffle up again. It would be a bit awkward if the voice wasn't going to respond at all (or couldn't, perhaps, until a future time), but she could live with that.

Tassira Vantyev |

Round 2: Actions
Full Round Action: Charge & attack Vigar's wounded zombie leader!
At this moment in time, Tassira gets an idea.
An audacious idea.
A mind-blowing, suicidal, audacious idea.
Taking advantage of the chaos her lightning caused, she raises her new weapon high. Her feet seem to move of their own accord.
what am I doing what am I doing what am I doing what am I doing WHAT AM I DOING?!
She races in and takes a mighty swing at the wounded zombie leader. Bar slices down...
"YAAAAAAHHHH!"
Charge Attack!: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 x2 = 18

Rowan Mikalson |

What has gotten into her?!?
He rushes into attack the zombie leader as well so she is not left unprotected.
Fauchard: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 91d10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
But misses horribly...again.

Vigar Savage |

Tassira?
Vigar sidesteps thrusting in with spear at the zombie's leader. Noting with some appreciation her's weapons keen edge as is arms work rapidly, powerful arms driving his spear point deeper into undead flesh.
Attack 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 181d8 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

GMGhost1776 |

Tassira finishes off the zombie leader that Vigar hurt before, as she does the green witch fire in its eyes doesn't die out, instead it flows out in three separate streams to the other zombie leaders flowing into their eyes . The zombies leaders seem to instantly recover from the effects of lightning bolt. With one eerie voice they shout out "Rastar!" and advance toward Tassira only to be intercepted by Rowan, Vigar, and Kraig.
Vigar strikes his one, wounding it. holy damage Vigar forgot: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 3) = 5
Rowan misses but grabs the creature's attention.
Kraig attacks: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29 confirm crit: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16 for damage: 4d6 + 20 + 4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 2, 3) + 20 + (4, 1, 4, 6) = 47 and slices the zombie leader in two. As it dies the witch fire leaps from its eyes and flows into the eyes of the other two zombie leaders.
The zombie leader in front of Vigar attacks him strike 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20 for damage: 3d4 + 6 ⇒ (1, 2, 1) + 6 = 10
strike 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17 for damage: 3d4 + 6 ⇒ (3, 1, 1) + 6 = 11
strike 3: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21 for damage: 3d4 + 6 ⇒ (4, 1, 2) + 6 = 13
The zombie leader in front of Rowan attacks him. strike 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15 for damage: 3d4 + 6 ⇒ (1, 2, 1) + 6 = 10 strike 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 a miss, strike 3: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20 for damage: 3d4 + 6 ⇒ (1, 4, 1) + 6 = 12
Marrovak and Chalimar each kill a normal zombie.

Kariel, Oracle of Korada |
"Mmm, I think I begin to see." Kariel said - though part of her suspected that she looked like she was crazy and simply talking to air. On the other hand, she was very religious... when you thought about it, she kind of talked to air all the time. "However, I'm not interested in obtaining any power that sounds like it will go against my faith. Judging by the things that the others have said, we're being asked to swear ourselves to what is effectively a martial organization... and while I revere all the gods of good, I hold Korada, lord of peace and forgiveness, in the highest esteem."
"I will not swear any oath that would demand I use violence against my better judgment or the teachings of my faith, especially if another solution is available. If you cannot accept that my faith can and will take precedence over all oaths, based on my own interpretation and judgment on how the two intersect, then don't even bother asking. I don't want any power that would require me to sacrifice what I believe in... no matter how good the cause or how great the power." she held up her artificial arm and looked at it for a moment.
"You will accept my interpretations of the oaths, and violations of them based on my faith will not be held against me. Those are my terms, and they are not negotiable. You may either take them or leave." Perhaps she was being a little firm, but the voice had sounded... well, a little tempting and mocking, which wasn't exactly endearing it to her. She expected better than that if something was aligned with good, and if it wasn't good, then she didn't particularly want it anyway.

Tassira Vantyev |

Round 3: Actions
Move Action: Move behind Krag
Standard Action: Activate Ability: Create Sunlight
The power of the storm courses through Tassira as she strikes one of the wounded leaders down.
She sees Vigar fall to one of them, causing her to jump back.
The dream from before--
"No farther may you come. I Bar the way."
The words echo in her. This could work. This could work!
"Pray while you can, damned freaks. You have no place here, and will never harm another." She raises Bar over her head.
"For I Bar the way."
The light of the sun sweeps outward, from the blade and across the battlefield.

GMGhost1776 |

As the light of day sweeps from Tassira's up raised sword the ordinary zombies fall as if they were marionettes whose strings have been cut. The zombie leaders however stay on their feet although they do flinch away from the light.

Kariel, Oracle of Korada |
Kariel tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "Vigar and Tassira both spoke an oath, or at least recited its tenets, before obtaining power. As far as I can see, that's rather important to this whole situation." Not that she knew what the requirements actually were. "A knight's word speaks only truth, and I'll gladly claim what is true. To the best of my knowledge, I am Kariel, of the House of Alenkine and the Blood of Rodger."

GMGhost1776 |

It's a chaotic seen, rain has been pouring down since the lightning bolt reveled the sword Bar. Lightning and thunder have been flashing all about, yet a heavy fog hangs on the ground. Now as the light of day shines forth from Tassira's sword, Kariel tries to speak in a calm reasonable manner. But starting when she says "I" the very night itself seemed to echo and amplify her words, the wind rises and swirls around her feet picking up small sticks and stones. As she continues the volume of her voice seems to increase until by the time she says the name "Rodger" it is as if she is screaming. When she says "Rodger" a stone riding the wind about her scratches her cheek. As her blood flows down her face there is brilliant flash of pure light and every undead thing in sight shudders in pain.

Kariel, Oracle of Korada |
Power unlike anything Kariel had ever felt surged through her body - the power of heroes and kings, above the mundane limits of the world. In part of her mind, everything opened up... on the one side, she had the gifts that the gods gave her. On the other, through the blood of Rodger, it was possible to do far more. Of course, there was a limit to everything, and many of the things she could do would be no help at all in this situation. Some, however, would be - and she bent down to pick up a handful of small stones. As she did so, she could feel the strange spirits that so often haunted her attempting to resist, but they seemed weak when she was simply picking things up normally - far weaker than they were when she tried to retrieve things from her bag, at least. Kariel whispered a few words under her breath, and holy power suddenly surged into the stones. It was a magic she had never cast before, and had never even known about - but the blood of Rodger had shown her something very interesting indeed.
Spending 1 use of Mythic Power for Inspired Spell: Magic Stone. 6/7 Mythic Power remaining.
It wasn't as flashy as what Tassira had done, but this ought to work quite nicely in damaging the undead. Her hand came up a moment later to wipe the blood off of her cheek, lightly smearing the stones with them as she prepared to hurl them. She had to watch for a good opportunity, though, in order to ensure she didn't hurt the others...

Vigar Savage |

Thanks to Kariel, Vigar isn't down yet. 23 hitpoint damage taken though. 2 Rounds of bloodrage used.
Vigar feels all the slams of the zombie but somehow he still stands upright as his earlier oath seems to have taken the brunt of his damage, some of his wounds begin to close up.
Spinning his spear as he intercepts the zombies, heading for Tassira, he thrusts his spear into one of the zombie leaders chcukling as he hears Kariel berating the voice.
Remind me to bring that one into arguements.
Attack with Spear, Attack roll/spear damage/holy 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 211d8 + 9 + 2d6 ⇒ (7) + 9 + (6, 6) = 28

Rowan Mikalson |

Rowan dodges two attacks, but gets winded by a third AC for those last attacks was 16, not 15.
Rowan moves 5 feet, to get one step closer to flanking with Vigar or Krag, as he slices at the leader with his fauchard.
Fauchard (Add 2 if Rowan is now flanking): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Tassira, get back!

GMGhost1776 |

Vigar slams his spear home and the enhanced zombie goes down, as before the erie wichfire from it's eyes leaps to the next zombie leader.
Krag slams the Holy Sword at the last Zombie1d20 + 10 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 10 + 1 = 30 confirm crit: 1d20 + 10 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 10 + 1 = 30 for damgage: 4d6 + 22 + 4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 4, 2) + 22 + (2, 4, 4, 3) = 52 and for the second time in this combat cuts a zombie in two.
Again the witchfire leaps from the downned zombie's eyes. This time it forms a spinning ball and streaks away to the southeast, quickly leaving your sight.
END COMBAT
As combat outside the temple ends the people who were effected by the lightning bolt recover their senses. More importantly you notice a rosy glow in the sky to the east. Sunrise is only a few minutes away. While no zombies remain active here near you, you can see a few of the horid creatures stumbling away from the town in the distance clearly headed back in the direction of the graveyard.
Congrats, you have finished the first part of this adventure and you all have earned a new level!

Tassira Vantyev |

Tassira starts panting as the remaining zombies start retreating.
She practically falls to the ground, sitting down.
Every part of her is trembling from the adrenaline.
"Oh gods above... did I actually do that?!" She gasps to no one in particular.
She looks down at her sword.

Vigar Savage |

Stepping forward as he calls upon his bloodrage to recede, Vigar squats besides Tassira and ruffles her hair.
"Well Done Tassira. Never do that again.....I think you gave me a near heart attack when you charged in like that." He grins, his eyes showing him to be in jest though winded as well.
Speaking to everyone else,
"Also Did anyone else hear that voice? Another important thing would where did that light go? Maybe we should give chase? I could go on ahead and see where it ends and then return if it goes too far."
Standing up, his wounds closes up and what is left is only dried blood and minor tears on his clothes. Vigar looks just as fresh as he was despite getting slammed by the zombies.
I assume My fast Healing takes care of my wounds for me.

Tassira Vantyev |

Tassira is still gasping for air when Vigar ruffles her hair.
She looks at him. "I... I don't know what came over me. I was--I was just so frustrated with not being able to help more, and then the lightning struck, and then I got the sword, and then..."
She slowly rises to her feet, leaning on her new sword for support. Her legs tremble with fatigue.
"Where's Hirako?"

Rowan Mikalson |

What. The hell. Happened. All three of you were fighting well beyond your normal limits. And then there is that thing with the oath!

Vigar Savage |

Vigar stares at Rowan.
"Now that you've spoken. That reminds me.....that voice sounded just like you....doesn't it?" pushing the last to the other two, Kariel and Tassira.
"Is there a link somewhere and I need to know more about this spear...."
Calling out to the temple....
"Hirako!!! Is everything fine there?"

Tassira Vantyev |

Tassira starts walking towards the temple. She looks around at the party.
"...I have some explaining to do, it seems. Come on--I'll explain once we're inside."

Vigar Savage |

"That voice that sounded like you as I recited the oath. It sounded like you." Vigar attempts to explain to Rowan but falls short how he would like to describe to him.
"When I took the spear, I felt judged and deemed worthy. When I spoke the oath, a change came over me and..and I found a direction once again ever since I was discharged from the Legion. I found something I thought lost when I left the legion and now It's like i found it once more. Then those visions when I took the oath. It's like I'm supposed to know something but I don't. I'm not so much a scholar like the rest of you."
Turning to follow Tassira, his wounds now fully closed, Vigar looks out for Hirako.

Kariel, Oracle of Korada |
"Less oath, and more... statement." Kariel mused. "We appear to have attracted the attention of an entity that is at least somewhat intelligent and desires that we claim our heritage, along with the power inherent to it." That she didn't appear to find this even a little unusual said a lot - but then, when you looked at it the way she did, it was a lot like what often happened with the gods... and was therefore something she was quite familiar with. She glanced in the direction the witchfire had gone, thinking carefully. It seemed that this wouldn't be the last they see of that, though she had no idea if they'd soon be swarmed again or would hear about this later. "I believe we should check on the others now and make sure they're alright." All of the night's action had been tiring, and she was looking forward to dawn - the nourishment that light gave her would be most welcome right now. Still, there was no time to rest when others might be in need, and she moved purposely forward to see what there was to be seen.

GMGhost1776 |

Hirako and Cerene come out of the temple to meet you. Cerene is looking bruised and battered. Her arm in a sling and a bloody bandage over her forehead. She walks with a painful limp. As for Hirako ...
Hirako looks a little on the ridiculous side. She's wearing an oversized leather vest that hangs almost to her knees. The vest looks as if it was meant for a circus performer, a knife thrower to be exact. Dagger and knife scabbards are sewed all over the thing most of which are empty now. She's dirty and there is sign a large bruise forming on her jaw but she looks alright otherwise.
Hirako comes rushing forward and she throws her arms around Tassira, and squeezes tightly.
"Still alive farmboy?" Cerene says to Rowan.

Tassira Vantyev |

Tassira staggers back a bit from the force of Hirako's hug, but returns it. She looks down at Hirako's clothes and can't help but giggle a bit.
We really should get you some armor that fits.
"Kariel, would you please see if you can help Cerene & Hirako?" She asks, turning to the oracle.
With that, she walks to the nearest empty pew and sits down.
"So, Vigar... you remember how, back at the Library, I was reading a book and I suddenly got a splitting headache?" She turns to the half-orc legionnaire.
"Well..." She digs around in her backpack and produces the worn leather journal from the Library. "...see, in here was when I first learned of the existence of the Twelve."

Kariel, Oracle of Korada |
"No need to even ask." the Aasimar said calmly, nodding to the other ladies. "This shouldn't take more than a few minutes." With that, she calmly prepared herself for a slightly extended healing section, using Cure Minor Wounds to help soothe their wounds... though, she did have to take the occasional small break. Constantly casting the same magic was a bit tiring, after all, and it was better to be careful than to cast something wrong.

Rowan Mikalson |

If only just. What about you? Did you break a nail cowering in the temple? The smile on his face tells her its a joke. Mostly.
Wait, what's this about a book?! He strides over and yanks the book from Tassira's hands and starts tearing through it. Where is this mention of the Twelve?

Tassira Vantyev |

"Rowan!" Tassira (rather indignantly) tries to take the journal back. "I was getting to that. In the journal, Rodger mentioned a time when he was the sole survivor of his unit, holding an important location--by himself no less--against overwhelming undead odds. Similar to what I did a few minutes ago, in fact. His sword created a pillar of brilliant sunlight to drive the undead forces of Lord Bane back."
"After he ascended to the Sword Throne, he had 11 more weapons like his forged, in order to determine who would be a worthy successor to his line. Considering there were twelve of us back at the Library, there should be one weapon for each of us..." She briefly closes her eyes, bracing herself for the pain.
It doesn't come. But would the information stick?

Rowan Mikalson |

So, so far there has been your hand-and-half sword. And Vigar, you said your spear gave you visions and what ever new found power you felt? Is this another? And what about the greatsword we found with it. Krag, could you bring it to me so I can see it again?
He pours through the book, ignoring Tassira's protest.
Was there any mention in here what specific weapons the Twelve are?

Vigar Savage |

On seeing Hirako, Vigar guffaws out loudly. A clear baritone free of any worry or gruffness normally associated with his voice.
"Dancer you're looking in tip top shape! We;ll need to see how about getting you better dresses and more knives, definitely more knives. Do you have any you fancy?" his relief eident upon seeing Hirako safe and sound even as she attempts to crush Tassira.
"Good Grip there." he offers not wanting to interrupt their hug.
As Tassira begins to speak,
"The library? I'm sorry I was mostly in the kitchen." He grins only to lose it as Tassira shows the book and explains about the 'The Twelve'
Chuckling weakly as Rowan snatches the journal only to have it reclaimed it back by Tassira.
He winces as the implications now begin to strike him.
"Wait there are more of these types of weapons? My visions are something more? So that voice was somehow an additional guiding force or is it some other great manipulator here."
His eyes miste over as he recalls the recent events that granted him his spear. A fact he is aware that he still knows not its noble history. His voice takes on a dream like quality as he recites.
"My visons showed me a teenager facing a horde of undead outside a small villiage with only a sword.
A tall blue skinned manish looking creature facing down a bar full of creatures, A sliver star on his leather coat and in his hand is a strange weapon of some kind with wisps of smoke rising from the end.
In a dirty ally, in a mighty city, a small child crys in fright as she is menaces by an eldrich dog. But between the dog and the child flots a six inch pixie type creature with a thimble for a helmet and letter opener made of silver for a sword.
Bolts of energy rain down from flying craft in the sky. Where they hit people and things burn to a crisp in an instant but in the middle of the road with his hands stretched outward a young mage produces an energy shield which protects civilians
A talking squid like thing speaks to a crab like creature which recoils in pain.
A tall woman wearing not armor but a formal gown holds a katana two handed while standing over the body of her defeated foe."
Looking up at the rest, Vigar continues.
"it's possible my visions are a way to tell what the remaining twelve is?"

Vigar's made his save to acquire knowledge of the The Twelve as weapons.
Rowan and Kariel need to as well. You get three chances at this moment because:
1.Tassira told you about it.
2.Tassira has the sword Bar has proof.
3.Tassira has Rodger's Journal as eviedence.

Status update: Captain Miles still has a negitive level, There are a lot of people with injuries and there is a lot of properity damage, before too long the villagers will be getting to work trying to deal with both.
Also Vigar mentioned tracking where the witchfire went. I'll need to know if/when you want to follow up on that.

Kariel, Oracle of Korada |
Knowledge seemed to flicker at the edge of Kariel's mind - words and ideas that were important, and something she needed to be able to remember, based mainly on Tassira's words about these weapons.
+5 Will, +5 Alenkine Ring on all rolls.
Will: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
Yet though she tried, they seemed to flicker just outside the reach of her thoughts... and that was actually more than a little impressive, in its own way, considering how strong her will was. The Aasimar wasn't one to lose on matters like this without giving it her best. Determined to succeed, she kept trying to focus her thoughts, narrowing in on the sword Tassira was holding.
Will: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
Her mind clouded again, despite the fact she was actually looking at the weapon. There was something here that she just couldn't quite focus on properly, regardless of how she struggled. "Stop that." she said firmly, glancing at Rodger's journal. "As the inheritor of Rodger's blood, I have the right to know this."
Will: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
Finally, her mind cleared... and a swell of power within her calmed down, unused. It seemed she wouldn't need to push past fate itself on this matter. With that, she calmly headed towards the villagers to begin lending what healing and aid she could.

Rowan Mikalson |

Rowan blinks as the words on the pages of the journal seem to fade out, along with what he learned.
No this is important. Remember.
Will: 1d20 + 2 + 5 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 2 + 5 + 5 = 26
We need to learn more about this Old Code and the knights. As well as this Twelve. But now, we should try to follow the witchfire so this day does not happen again.

Tassira Vantyev |

Tassira nods.
"If you had problems remembering, that is to be expected. The Twelve are indeed weapons, but if my blade and Vigar's spear are any indication, they are incredibly powerful. Rodger didn't want them to fall into the wrong hands." She rises from the pew.
"And there was a good chance that without multiple pieces of evidence, the information wouldn't stick. That's why I didn't say anything back at the Library." She blushes. "I'd have sounded like a babbling fool."
It's at this point Tassira yawns. "I'd agree, Rowan. But does anyone else feel tired?" She stretches, her shirt riding up a bit, exposing her navel.

Vigar Savage |

"I feel that our work is not yet done here. We should best at least make sure that the village is secured and I have some graves that need to be refilled. The dead should be left to rest in piece and not used like that for someone's schemes." Vigar gets up and paces looking on the outside and is obviously chafing to go out and do something.
GM Ghost? I assume all my wounds have closed up by now due to fast healing?

Kariel, Oracle of Korada |
Kariel tilted her head as she considered Vigar's words, then nodded slightly. She continued to work her most basic healing magic, but seemed more than a little thoughtful. "The kind of power we saw... that's well above what most of those with magical abilities should possess, right? I don't wish to sound alarmist, but... I believe there may be more to this than a simple angry soul looking to strike back at the living." Though it was entirely possible that there wasn't, and that she was simply reading too much into things. Hmm.
She glanced at Tassira a moment later, noting the girl's condition. "...You should rest if you're tired, Tassira. There are people who still need my help, so I believe I'll just take a nap in the sun later."

Tassira Vantyev |

Tassira nods at Kariel.
"That'd be a good idea. And if there really is something worse than an angry ghost behind all this, it'd be a good idea for us to be at full strength."
That, and I need to be able to contribute more to fights than just charging people's weapons up... wait. Perhaps that wasn't the figure of speech that I was looking for.
She moves to leave the temple and return to the inn, but not before taking Hirako with her.
"So, Hirako, how are you doing? Is everything alright?" She turns to her adopted sister. Her sword hangs on her belt.

Vigar I had to go read up on the type of fast healing you used. It longs like out of combat you will heal 50 hit points over the course of a min. So yes you are all healed up.
"There was a lot fighting, we spent a lot of time rushing from place to place throwing daggers and whatever else we could fine. Cerene is actually quite skilled at throwing. She showed me a few tricks right Cerene?... Cerene?"
Cerene isn't paying attention to Hirako, however, she has a look of intense concentration on her face. Suddenly, Cerene grabs her head in agony, and blood starts running from her nose. On her hand her Avergnon ring flashes angerly in the new dawn sun. "The Twelve were entrusted to the great families of the alliance that formed the Empire, one to the dwarves, two to the elves, one to the orcs, one to the storm giants, the rest to the Avergnon, the Rastar, the Alenkine, the Maridun and the ... She falls to the ground unconscious with blood now streaming down her face from both nostrils.

Rowan Mikalson |

"Cerene!"
Rowan rushes over to her, catching her as she fell. He shouts out to Kariel, presumably healing the injured.
"Kariel, come quickly! Cerene is unconscious!"
