BTW... if you guys think MJ66 is railroading you a little too heavy with his skeletor ambushes, complain to the party at table 2 right now... LOL... They are currently “guests” of Emir Al’Haaq at the Bloodpit of Marrakech, aka the Arena of Death, where they will provide sport for the Emir and his sheikhs in mortal combat against monsters from the four corners lol...

we are waiting on arc, quinlan, boga... you guys must have gotten busy.
Zagathoth
No, Johann’s real theme, lol.

Cheerful, powerful. I like it.
Not too sure about Zag's choice....
Quinlan Ifrean
love it.
Thinking on options for evangelist, that's a lot of freedom, but I'm also not that familiar with the bible. Does anyone have any good ideas?
Zagathoth
I could help with that Quinlan. The Judeo-Christian God has been revered in a lot of different ways in many different places, the first step would be to figure out which aspects of God you want to focus on. Justice, mercy, love, war, healing, redemption, community, protection, sky, creation, and the weather are all elements of God that have elicited worship in the past (just off the top of my head, there are others too we could work up with a little more effort).
Quinlan Ifrean
That's a good start. I won't need to know until 9th level probably so I have time to feel out what would make sense. I'll pay attention to what aspects might draw Quinlan the most.
Boga
BOGA’S THEMEThat's great! I love Journey. Boga could also use
- Faithfully
- Don't Stop Believin'
- And, of course, Wheel in the Sky (Travel domain, baby!)

Boga wrote:pulls scroll of "Protection from Evil", bless Johann (+2 Sacred to hit on his Round 3 attacks)My final prepared spell is Shield, so on Round 3 I'm going to cast it on whichever of Johann and Zagathoth that you don't get with the Protection from Evil.
Unless MJ66 rules it differently, Shield cannot be cast on another, only on yourself (range: personal; target: you)

Boga, what is the snake style that you reference on your posts?
Boga
It is a Style Feat, Snake Style. It requires an immediate action, so it is limited, but it can be good for certain characters/situations. A lot of people like the feat chain because of Snake Fang, but Boga will never go there. Snake Style for Boga is about how he studies and understands people, their motivations, etc.

Oh, that's right. Mage armor is the one that can be cast on others...
Well, I guess I'll just start using my ranged touch attack, suffering the -4 for not having Precise Shot. =(

And now, you feel my pain every time I fire Disrupt Undead into a fight.

Who needs to fight in round 2 yet? we are so close to level 4, let's finish up this fight and see what happens!

Agreed. We need to reassess after this fight. Not sure what time of day it is, but we need to recharge and take care of the fever. Do we want to do that down here? Or return topside? If we do return topside, is it safe to leave with the doors to the lower level open?
Whenever we do go topside, we should grab a wand of CLW, if available. Also, Boga would like to make some scrolls, time permitting.

The battle is a little hard to follow, but I believe that everyone except Arc has gone in Round 2.

Yo! You exist again!
I lost track of you for a long time last year, I was getting kinda worried. Wouldn't have even known now if I hadn't caught your game in the sidebar (I don't know anyone else who tags their play by posts Pathfinder RAW).
Good to see you're still tooling around.
Hey bro! Good to see ya again! Yup, running two simultaneously in the same world, both starting January 1st, 1437 AD... This group started in Rome and are currently clearing undead out of the Roman Catacombs while searching for the secret lair of Nero the Antichrist... The others started in Lisbon, Portugal, and sailed to Morocco to strike against the Arab Slave Trade in North Africa for Prince Henry the Navigator and ended up captives at the gladiator arena Blood Pit of Marrakech lol... My usual kind of GM shenanigans lol

I hate to toot my own horn, but here goes...
Compared to what I've seen on other PBP campaign threads and at other GMs' tabletop games, I would venture to guess that at my prime now at age 45, running these two PBP Fairy Tale Earth campaigns, I am one of the top 100 best GMs in America right now.
What say you, table 1 players?

I do think you're really good, MJ. I'm having a great time.
On an unrelated note, if my character does end up suffering an untimely death, I've found a nice option for the back up character--I'm dying to play a mesmerist.

Thanks! I’m really enjoying these games myself, it’s building a rich tapestry of a campaign setting to rival Greyhawk and the Forgotten Realms in depth and splendor! Lol

Let's see.... advance us to level 4 after this battle and I will absolutely agree. :D :D :D
J/k, this is a great game in anycase.
