Agreed; that happened to the house my brother was renting once and it was awful. Hope everything is/will be okay!

As for the rod, Dion has to cast Identify on it, and that he can do at home, and inform the group tomorrow.

The Tannery House

Identify is only a standard action now, you could always check out the rod before you hit the road.

Feel free to split loot OOC here as well.

HP 46/46 | AC:19 T:9, F:19 | Save (F+11, R+5, W+7) | Init:-1 | Perception: +1 | Lay on Hands 9/9 | Smite Evil 2/2

Okay so trying to compile a list of gear, is everyone okay with an even split based upon sale prices and being able to "buy" anything they want at sale price? Sale price being 50% of the items standard price.

Did Calli throw a Blue Orb? If so 5 instead of 6.

Blue Orbs x6 Thrown splash weapon, 2D6 Force damage, splash damage is half rolled damage rounded down, DC 14 Reflex save for half.
Red Orbs x4 The user gains the benefits of Cure Serious Wounds and Aid CL 6, though the benefits of Aid last for 1 Hour. After 1 Hour the user is dealt as much damage as they healed from the Cure spell.
Grey Orbs x4 The Grey Orbs are something of a mystery, but they are undoubtedly harmful and should be kept with their bags. Should probably not be sold.
Box Weapons x 2 Effectively they are +2 Light Maces, that 3/Day may be activated as a swift action to obtain the Brilliant Energy weapon special ability for 1 round. Each 8,305gp + price for special ability.
Numerian Coins x 17
Rod x1 Suzerain Sceptre 20,000gp

IMO we should keep the Suzerian Sceptre as a party item, Good Hope is amazing and by my reading the Sceptre increases it bonus to +3. If we sell it we get 10,000gp, if we do not everyone gets +3 to everything for 1 battle per day. Its worth it even if Leadership is not allowed.

Inactive

Yeah, Calli threw the blue orb Celen offered to her so there's just 5 left. I'm content to keep the rod and sell the rest to put into a party fund. The blue orbs could be handy if anyone wants them to throw but there might be better alchemy items that we could buy; not real sure.

HP 46/46 | AC:19 T:9, F:19 | Save (F+11, R+5, W+7) | Init:-1 | Perception: +1 | Lay on Hands 9/9 | Smite Evil 2/2

Probably depends on their value, but generally I think our standard actions are better spent doing what we are good at than throwing expensive items. They would be good against incorporeal foes, but some ghost salted arrows and magic weapons probably cover that better.

Sor(Abyssal)/3 Ac13 Touch13 Flat-Footed10 Fort+3 Ref+4 Will+5 Init+3 Perception+1

It's like I said in char, all I want is a couple of the coins to display in my shop. If we are going to even split all the treasure, then deduct their value from my share.

The Tannery House

Don't forget the Numarian "wand", it's function is unknown but it seems to be something specific.

I plan on adding all of your characters and locations to the Campaign Tab, I'm expanding the list quite a bit as well to include new NPC's and locations for the future, I'll post it when I get it all together.

Male Aasimar Cleric (Nethys)HP 14/14 | AC:12 T:12, F:10 | Save (F+5, R+3, W+9) | Init:+2 | Perception: +4|

I wouldn't mind keeping a few of those orbs, Unfortunately Celen isn't built to do much more than buff a little and debuff a little, and if we get past the stage where those go off, his ability to add to combat is a little above 0. at least ranged touch weapons are easy to use. That being said, totally don't mind if we sell them off either.

The idea of selling the loot and splitting it seems fine to me, and keeping the scepter seems fine too. Do we have a tally of what the split is?

HP 46/46 | AC:19 T:9, F:19 | Save (F+11, R+5, W+7) | Init:-1 | Perception: +1 | Lay on Hands 9/9 | Smite Evil 2/2

Can we get prices DM Spacefighters? Specifically for the orbs, Numerian coins, and the box weapons?

Judd would like to sell his armour and purchase +1 Fullplate and a +1 adamantine Earthbreaker. Is there some method of determining item availability? It can get a bit frustrating to have to ask individually after desired items especially in PBP, so either a set list for merchants or a percentage chance for an item would be very helpful.

System I Used Previously:
In a broadly similar game we used a system of tiers based upon the CRB categories, with weapons and armour being assigned based upon their price.

Our table went...

Lesser Minor 50% Under 4000gp
Greater Minor 45% Under 8000gp
Lesser Medium 30% Under 18000gp
Greater Medium 25% Under 28000gp
Lesser Major 5% Under 50000gp
Greater Major 0%

The Tannery House

Eh, alright. In the interest of speeding things along I'll just give you the sell prices.

Sell Value:

Blue Orbs- 62 ea.
Red Orbs- 525 ea.
Grey Orbs- Rock bottom (the same as rocks)
Boxes- 5,500 ea.
Coins- 500gp ea.

I do rather like that tier system, and you are right about asking about every little thing. I'll use this tier system then:

Lesser Minor 80% Under 4000gp
Greater Minor 50% Under 8000gp
Lesser Medium 45% Under 18000gp
Greater Medium 30% Under 28000gp
Lesser Major 25% Under 50000gp
Greater Major 5% Greater than 50000gp

Of course this will also depend on the merchant and item in question but for the most part I'll stick with that.

HP 46/46 | AC:19 T:9, F:19 | Save (F+11, R+5, W+7) | Init:-1 | Perception: +1 | Lay on Hands 9/9 | Smite Evil 2/2

Awesome thanks DM Spacefighters! Okay, I suggest we keep all of the Blue Orbs as party items, any objections?

If we split everything else we get 21600gp by my count for shares of 4320gp each. The box weapons are amazing value, but they just do not seem to suit any of our characters, but if someone feels they can make use of one I am sure we can work it out.

Inactive

No objections here to keeping the blue orbs; the box weapon is really cool but since she doesn't actually use weapons there wouldn't be any real reason for her to keep one; she wouldn't use it and it's not like she's a weapon collector or anything either.

@DM Spacefighters:

I like Bohlrick already! I'll try and flesh out a few more NPCs within the GotRR soon since I've got the next few days off of work but for now I'll give you what I *do* know about the specific NPCs Calli asked about:

Holvir - Human, leader of the troupe. In my mind, he's a paladin of Shelyn, who are a little different than what you'd imagine as your typical paladin. He's got the job (and the occasional headache that comes with it) of leading a group of rather...colorful...characters. Tends to be quiet and on the serious side more often than not, but he *does* have a low-key sense of humor and isn't above some gentle teasing when called for.

Peony - Gnome, illusionist. She doesn't have to have actual wizard levels, but she's a master at putting on "light shows" and other amazing visual displays. Like many gnomes, a chatterbox and very friendly - also enjoys practical jokes and snowball fights (when visiting snowy locales).

Sarah - Human, animal handler/wagon driver. Twin sister of Severn. She's young, probably no more than early 20s, and has the enthusiasm of youth. She tends to get caught up in Severn's (mostly) harmless ideas and schemes.

Severn - Human, storyteller and poet. Possibly a bard. Twin brother of Sarah. He's young, probably no more than early 20s and is just as enthusiastic as his sister. Always coming up with one grand idea or another to make quick gold for the group or to help one of the other troupe members by making their task easier; these usually end in varying degrees of failure.

Male Aasimar Cleric (Nethys)HP 14/14 | AC:12 T:12, F:10 | Save (F+5, R+3, W+9) | Init:+2 | Perception: +4|

So if im reading this right, say i wanted to purchase a wand of magic missle.. I would roll a 1d100 and if it was under 80% it would be availible?

HP 46/46 | AC:19 T:9, F:19 | Save (F+11, R+5, W+7) | Init:-1 | Perception: +1 | Lay on Hands 9/9 | Smite Evil 2/2

No the under refers to the price - under 4000gp. Personally I feel that high should always be good for the person rolling, as this keeps things simple and intuitive, but of course its DM SPacefighters opinion that matters. So if you want an item that costs less than 4000gp you need to roll a 21 or higher on a d100.

Male Aasimar Cleric (Nethys)HP 14/14 | AC:12 T:12, F:10 | Save (F+5, R+3, W+9) | Init:+2 | Perception: +4|

oh... well that makes it even easier for me to understand thanks... I sort of like that system too then!

HP 46/46 | AC:19 T:9, F:19 | Save (F+11, R+5, W+7) | Init:-1 | Perception: +1 | Lay on Hands 9/9 | Smite Evil 2/2

So it seems like we have 11000gp on this note to play with, which I assume we can use with other traders as well. Judd has his armor, but is going to save un til he can afford an adamantine earthbreaker. Amulet of Mighty Fists for Calli, they are 4000gp now so within reach. Pearls of power? Ability boosting items?

Male Aasimar Cleric (Nethys)HP 14/14 | AC:12 T:12, F:10 | Save (F+5, R+3, W+9) | Init:+2 | Perception: +4|

I was looking at a list of things kinda going shopping crazy so many things that could be useful. . .

HP 46/46 | AC:19 T:9, F:19 | Save (F+11, R+5, W+7) | Init:-1 | Perception: +1 | Lay on Hands 9/9 | Smite Evil 2/2

Lesser Metamgic Rod of Extend or a Charisma item? The charisma item would get you an extra 1st level spell a channel. We might also all want to chip in for a cure wand.

Male Aasimar Cleric (Nethys)HP 14/14 | AC:12 T:12, F:10 | Save (F+5, R+3, W+9) | Init:+2 | Perception: +4|

first choice would be the headband of alluring charisma+2 followed by a slew of different wands both arcane and divine, (bless, cure light, magic missle, enlarge person,) if those all fail mithril breast plates, or chainshirts. possible magical and lastly perhaps enchanting my MW Morningstar into a magical weapon!

HP 46/46 | AC:19 T:9, F:19 | Save (F+11, R+5, W+7) | Init:-1 | Perception: +1 | Lay on Hands 9/9 | Smite Evil 2/2

I would argue that a wand or a couple of 1st level Pearls of Power so you can cast Mage Armour would be a far better defense than armor for you, arcane spell failure is just going to get worse and worse. And my understanding is that you would need to wait until your caster level is 5, to be able to enchant your Bonded Morningstar since you need to meet the prereqs of Craft Magical Arms and Armor - additional traits and taking Magical Knack would speed that considerably enabling you to do it next level. You could get it magicked by someone else, but that would require it being out of your possession for a couple of days which would be tough.

The Tannery House

Just let me know what the rest of you guys want to pick up, and I'll move things along when you're done shopping.

HP 46/46 | AC:19 T:9, F:19 | Save (F+11, R+5, W+7) | Init:-1 | Perception: +1 | Lay on Hands 9/9 | Smite Evil 2/2

Judd buys his +1 Fullplate, I think I'll stick with just that for now :)

Inactive

I'll skim through some stuff and see what Calli might like to go shopping for. To be honest, the notion of actually being able to go to Ye Olde Magick Shoppe and just buy magic gear that isn't low-level potions and scrolls always throws me just a bit; not something I'm used to :)

Sor(Abyssal)/3 Ac13 Touch13 Flat-Footed10 Fort+3 Ref+4 Will+5 Init+3 Perception+1

I will be able to make an Amulet of Mighty Fists next level, though some cure wands would be mighty handy, I could do with one in case (heavens forbid) Cellen should go down. Sorry I didn't post yesterday, I had a tournament run over and was exhausted.

The Tannery House

I'll move things along for now, but if you made any specific purchases let me know. Just wanna make sure you guys are geared up for whats to come.

Werehare Inquisitive 3/ Seeker 3/ Bard 3

I honestly have no idea what to have Dion buy.. Consumables, maybe?

The Tannery House

Stat items are always a good call. Consumables, resistance items, even a good ol' fashioned ring of protection. Scroll of spell knowledge are pretty nifty for spontaneous casters too and they aren't that much.

The Tannery House

Just a heads up, I've got several huge parties this weekend, I won't be able to post until Sunday night, sorry.

Still here, have just been out of town and/or not home since yesterday so I'm limited to phone posting. I've been reading, will work on getting a post up a little later tonight ;_;

I hope it didn't die, I was looking forward to more encounters. I really wanted to push past level 9, starting at level 10 is where most characters get the best abilities.

Ooh, England sounds fun. Live in Missouri, not by Missouri. I live in central Missouri, city of Fulton, home of the Missouri school for the deaf, and the state loony bin, I mean nut house, I mean psychiatric hospital. *Evil Grin*
