Claws (Su):At 1st level, you can grow claws as a free action.
These claws are treated as natural weapons, allowing you to make two claw attacks as a full round action using your full base attack bonus. These attacks deal 1d4 (1d3 if you are small) plus your Strength modifier. At 5th level, these claws are considered magic weapons for the purpose of overcoming DR. At 7th level, the damage increasesby one step to 1d6points of damage (1d4 if you are small). At 11th level, these claws become flaming weapons,each dealing an additional 1d6 points of fire damage on a successful hit. You can use your claws for a number of rounds per day equal to 3+ your Charisma modifier. These rounds do not need to be consecutive.

Demon Resistances (Ex): At 3rd level, you gain resist electricity 5 and a +2 bonus on saving throws made against poison. At 9th level, your your resistance to electricity increases to 10 and your bonus on poison saving throws increases to +4.

Marconis wears pretty much the same style clothing he wore while traveling, the basic travelers outfit, dusty brown leather boots, loose fitting gray shirt, sturdy belt to hold up his dark breeches, and the same tattered green cloak he grew up with. In fact, the only thing really new at all about his outfit is his wide brimmed hat, almost out of place on his small frame, the dark brown hat with its grass green band, somehow pulls the outfit together.

Personality:
Marconis is quick to help a soul truly in need, as long as it does not have a negative impact on his family, his town, or his business. Always friendly, until crossed, Marconis is one of the most likable people in town, always in line with the towns best interest, never causes trouble for the peacekeepers (who are the ones he has the least contact with), and is always quick to settle a debt.

Family:
Marconis, as the eldest sibling, has seen the loss of 4 of his 7 sisters and his father, he now does what he can to provide for his aging mother and 3 surviving sisters, which includes keeping their family powers as summoners from their knowledge. Marconis runs a moderately successful shop, nothing to become rich from, but it puts food on the table. He hopes to one day be married, but refuses to look for a suitable wife as long as his family curse persists.

Fluff:
Marconis carries a sickle, mostly for harvesting herbs, but has been known to put it to deadly use when trouble arises. Though he rarely needs for weapons, he also makes use of his fathers crossbow, when the odd goblin shows it face during his herb gathering.

Lineage:
Nearly 30 generations ago, clan D'monius was known by a different name, clan Attenguard. Attenguard was a family of summoners, powerful, rich, and well respected. When their kingdom was set upon by a war that lasted nearly 6 years, and with no end in sight, Attenguard turned to the summoning of a powerful demon lord, one who's name was never revealed, he came to them in the guise of a man, and struck a deal that would leave them open to a curse on the entire bloodline.

For nearly 7 generations, their home saw peace, and the kingdom was grateful, however, the royal line had known the price of that peace, and had ordered historians to keep careful track of the Attenguard family. One day, as the family was birthing another proud young future summoner, the demon lord appeared again, making his demand for the tribute promised ages ago. When the house guard present at the birth witnessed the event, he was quick to report to the King, who decreed that from that day forward, the family name of Attenguard would no longer be known, historians would regard them only as clan D'monius, a name in that kingdom that literally meant "demon spawn".

As years passed, strange things began happening throughout the town, these unexplained events were always blamed on clan D'monius, whenever proof or reason of what occurred could not be found. In their 15th generation as clan D'monius people began to show up dead, murdered in horrific ways, and the clan was banished from their own lands. Marconis was not the first to receive powers from the taint of the demons in his family bloodline, but he is the first to openly use them, stating one day he will end this curse on his family, even if it costs him his life.

Marconis D'monius grew up on the road, never having any memory of a childhood home. His name kept his family shunned in the lands of his birth, his family finally settled in Grundy when he was about 17, where his families lineage was either unknown, or nobody cared. His family opened a small shop there, selling home goods and traveling supplies, which he took over after his fathers passing when he was 23. With Grundy being the first and only real home he ever really knew, he has grown attached, and very defensive.
