"Wait a moment," Garrett says, as Gunnar mentions the right in the underworld. "You mentioned a missing Hutt just now, correct? This Hutt's name wouldn't happen to be Mika, would it? We're working on the behalf of an... interested party to secure something from his downed transport. I was retrieving the medicine for someone who'd given me word of where I might find information about that transport, truth be told." Garrett crosses his arms, his rifle now slung across his back. He narrows his eyes at the Jedi, but he keeps Rennah's words in mind. "Evidently, some Nikto were onboard that have survived the crash have been spotted in Tel Bollin; I don't suppose you'd have any information on them, or know where we could find some?"

Gunnar, that spoiler was meant for you, I appalagize.
Rennah Mars
Sorry, I was waiting for someone else to respond :P
"Seems like there's more going on than what we'd been told. The missing Hutt is one thing, but there was obviously something more going on. Vago, the Majordomo of Popara, sent us to recover the cargo of the ship, not the missing Hutt. Of course, he was nice and vague about what that cargo itself was."
Rennah shakes her head, her disgust of politics obvious on her face.

No worries. Shall we handwave the provision of the medicine to Rennahs mob? Do any of you take any extra spice shots just in case, not including the one for Garretts contact?
Errin Khass
Errin watches without comment, still not quite believing the sudden cooperation. But backs off as the CSA thugs begin distributing the vaccine to the mob.
"Garrett, you get what you need? If so, let's get out of this place ... Although it might not be a bad idea to keep a few extra doses -- one for each of us -- just in case. I'm not sure I trust this stuff, but if it comes down to taking the chance with an injection or bleeding out as my eyeballs liquefy, I'd like to have the option."
AIU-066; "Garrett Liantin"
"Yeah, a dose or two of spice should be good," Garrett replies, taking the doses and putting them away. "If you want to take more doses, go ahead; I don't need any, but feel free if it'll keep your skin from crawling when you get near someone sick. I'm ready to get on with our mission, and for that we need to find out more about those Nikto. If I had access to a computer I could see what I could find... you said you might be able to convince the CSA to cooperate?" Garrett asks Gunnar, sharing the same measured tone as Errin. "If you can get them to give me access, I might be able to find a trail on our missing Hutt."
Gamemaster the Living Force
In addition, the CSA was not very active here before the plague, as the Hutts arrived before that the best computer to find these details on would be the one located at the city center where the Government was located pre collapse.

we should leave this area and move to the government center where no one will expect us and use the best computers for the job you are speaking of Gunnar will offer a ride on his speeder for any who wish even offering them the speeder bime itself.

"If you know the way, let's get going. I just need to drop this off before we head out," he says, gesturing to the stashed medicine. "We've got a transport parked around her somewhere, we should be fine in that. Once we're on our way, you take the lead. We'll follow you to the government offices and see what we can find." He walks over to Kaldo, offering the Duros a helping hand as they head back to their parked transport outside the CSA compound. As they get ready to leave, he leans closer to the pilot.
"You alright? I know it was a little rough back there, especially once he tossed me off the back of that skiff."
I'm okay with handwaving dropping off this medicine too, so we can get to the plot faster.

Endregaard - Night 2 - Tel Bollin
The once unruly mob becomes orderly. A small portion of the spice is all that is needed to vaccinate this group. The Sergeant agrees to open the facility the next day to a wider range of folk based on orders from Gunnar.
The Imperials take enough Medicine for their contact as well as for themselves. As the group heads out with Gunnar you all get the sense that the CSA men are staring at you. Even with their helmets on covering their faces it is obvious they do not like the call than Gunnar made by their body language. Not one bit.
Soon enough the Imperial transport is retrieved and your group is headed back into the lawless portions of Tel Bollin. Whether by luck or by reputation from earlier in the evening, the group foes not encounter any swoop gangs. Garret exits the transport and knocks on the door of the place where the Chevin indicated he was holed up. He opens the door, a small blaster in hand.
"What do you...I... it's you!"
Gamemaster the Living Force
I think we are back on track. Thanks for hanging in with me here folks! I seriously doubt we'll have any problems again as we move along.

He opens the door, "Indeed come in come in. My manners..." he pauses as he is struck by a coughing fit.
AIU-066; "Garrett Liantin"
"Here, you'll probably want this." Garrett reaches into his pack and pulls out the spice, handing it to the Chevin. "That ought to help, wouldn't you say? Make that coughing fit your last, right?" Garrett ushers the others inside, lingering a moment before he heads in himself. "Moreover, the CSA is distributing spice to locals now as well. With any luck, the plague is on its way out. If you don't mind, though, I'd like to ask you a few more questions about the ship you said crashed nearby. I know you don't know where the survivors are--I have an idea of how to track them down--but I'd like to know if you have any idea where the ship might have actually crashed. Was it somewhere in the city, or farther out?"

Endregaard - Night 2 - Tel Bollin
The Chevin injects itself on the arm and slumps down on a couch that acts as a chair for the creature. He sighs as he regards the group arrayed before him.
"Ask me any questions you like friend. There is no way I could possibly repay you. This will save my life to be sure".
He considers your question, "I am sure there are at least a handful of survivors living here, the rest may be out in the mines. Some folk headed away form others hoping that isolation would be as effective as medicines or spice in combatting this plague.
The ship certainly crashed outside of the city. To the south in some deep woods I bet based on where it seemed to go down in the sky".
Gamemaster the Living Force
Endregaard - Night 2 - Tel Bollin
The Chevin wheezes a bit, "I bet both. The CSA is up there. They put profits before people, you've seen that here in this city first hand. I bet they want those mines to continue to be operational.
I imagine there is some dangerous wildlife but with the plague who knows how it has effected them..."

As you try to comm the Sergeant, Lieutenant Commander Angela Kryn, your commanding officer in the CSA cuts in, "What in the f~*~ing hell are you doing down there!? I sent you down to aid these spacers with a load of spice not ally with a group of terrorists! You need to bring these people in, that includes the Hutt's people the Jedi that you accompanied down there and you need to do it now Lieutenant".

I am afraid the individuals I was with disagreed with the individuals I am now with fpr method of distribution. These individuals have a bettet chance of locating the Hutt and finding out what is causing the spice issues. As soon as these items are concluded as part of the mission I will bring these individuals in, but for now they serve our purpose. Minimal losses for maximum gain commander Gunnar says all this knowing that he will do the most of it but not for the CSA. now please give me the coordinates for the mines so as I can reduce damage there.

The line goes dead for a moment, then Kryn speaks, "The Sarge tell me there were lightsabers employed in this skirmish. Is that true?"

The Chevin speaks as the silence continues, "You want me to ask around for survivors here in town?"
AIU-066; "Garrett Liantin"
"That would be helpful, if you're willing to. We might not find them, but someone might have a clue where they went. But we don't want to spook them; they were working for a Hutt, so they won't be very trusting." Garrett looks out to Gunnar, talking into his commlink. He frowns for a moment, not catching much of the Jedi's conversation. "Make sure whoever you talk to knows we're just looking for information. I don't want you getting hurt trying to help us."

Endregaard - Night 2 - Tel Bollin - Gunnar Outside
You can hear Kryn grating her teeth, "How convenient. My orders stand. You will bring the fugitive or fugitives in to face CSA justice or I will consider you a rogue agent and we will use any and all available means to bring you in. I'll give you a day no more".
The comm goes dead.

The Chevin nods, "Do not worry. I will start tomorrow by then this spoce should enable me to feel much better. If you have any more I can use that to gain the information you seek.
You are welcome to stay here the night and any other night you wish".

Errin nods at the Chevron, approving of his plan, then cocks her head toward Gunnar.
"Why do I have the feeling this isn't going to be a 'Surprise, I bought you a space yacht!' kind of conversation, and more a "So, there's a thermal detonator in my head,' sort of talk?"

Once outside and out of earshot:
I have less then 24 hours to bring you in to the CSA before I am branded a traitor, and you are all being hunted for the earlier actions taken against the CSA. Any answers we wish must be found quickly so we might leave this place or provide enough incentive that they will forgive what happened.
Rennah Mars
"I suppose we better get moving then. Though, just on a side note: Whether they consider you a traitor or not in 24 hours, they will not be taking us in."
Turning back to the Chevin, Rennah shrugs and sighs.
"We really appreciate the offer sir, but unfortunately we're on a bit of a tight time-line, so we better get moving. Should we come back, then we may avail ourselves of your hospitality."
Rennah shakes the Chevin appendage ina parting greeting, grabs her gear and looks expectantly at the others.

"We may as well try."

Endregaard - Night 2 - Tel Bollin
Taking the city by foot to stay as away from danger as possible the group moves through the ruins of what was once a thriving mining city. Plague victims who do spot any of you are too sick to care what you are doing.
Soon enough you come upon a street where loud raucous music is playing. Even Rennah's poor stealth skills are sufficient to keep silent from this violent affair. What appears to be a government official based on his manner of dress wields a makeshift home made melee weapon. He stands in a circle closed in by several transports in a battle to the death against some sort of vicious looking local creature with scales that walks on taloned front and back legs.

can I get close enough to mind trick the beast with no one noticing?
With a successful stealth check yes.
