"Transport, near the barracks." Garrett moves forward to get a better look, waiting as a guard turns his back before he ducks and rolls into cover behind another building. "It's carrying a lot of supplies... and it doesn't look like they'd normally keep it here. It's under heavy guard, too; six men, all armed with rifles. I have a feeling this is what we're looking for." He ducks his head back behind a building as one of the men looks in his direction, before speaking again into the commlink. "If I could orchestrate some sort of distraction, get those guards to move... could you swoop in and get that transport moving?"
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30
Kaldo Vantai
Kaldo nods. I'll stay in the shadows, and see if I can activate the transport. But, if we get it moving, we might have to fight our way out. Also, what sort of distraction do you have in mind?
AIU-066; "Garrett Liantin"
"I spotted an administrative building in the other direction, if I can make my way over there I might be able to give you some time to get it moving." Garrett takes another moment to get a better layout of the camp, and scurries across another open patch of ground. "It doesn't look like security is too thick; I could set off an alarm somewhere else in the camp, maybe scramble their comms? Either one ought to get them moving so you can start up that transport."
GM, would you like another Stealth roll, or keep the old one?
Rennah Mars
Sorry about the silence, had family visiting for a few days, so I never got anything "normal" done.
Perception Check: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
Rennah sits tight as well, waiting for either Garrett or Kaldo to call in with a need for backup.
"I'm not sure Errin. Let's see".
Rennah mutes her comlink for a moment and reaches out with her feelings.
Use the Force: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
"I'm not getting any impressions as such. Only the usual background noise. But considering the environment and the amount of suffering the populace must be going through, and their emotional despair, I'm not surprised."
That said, Rennah turns the hands-free comlink back off from mute.
Kaldo Vantai
Kaldo nods. Peeking out from where he is hiding, he begins to slink through the shadows. Ducking behind a crate, he gives a thumbs up to Garrett.
New stealth check if you wish me to make one: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25
Rennah Mars
"Understandable. If I was a Jedi I'd give you some platitude about trusting the Force, but we know it's a tool to be used. Just like any other, so just keep your eyes and ears peeled and we should be ok."
So saying, Rennah starts looking for a defensible position until either of the other two report back in.

Endregaard - Evening 2 - Kaldo and Garrett
Kaldo manages to move into position near the transport. He will need the guards to move away to move it anywhere though.
Yes Garrett, you will need a second stealth roll to get close to the administrative building.
AIU-066; "Garrett Liantin"
Garrett moves closer to the administrative building, on the lookout for more guards. "Kaldo, I'll let you know before I trigger the alarms; it'll give you time to get into position to nab that transport. I might need to take out a guard or two beforehand, though..." Garrett ducks behind the shadow of a building as a guard moves past, and smirks as the man misses the movement from the corner of his eye. "Not that I expect that to be very challenging."
Stealth: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (7) + 19 = 26

Endregaard - Evening 2 - Kaldo and Garrett
Got sidetracked in the afternoon and went to ses Star Trek last night, now where was I...
Garrett scouts the building and sees a small supply shed of to the side of the building. A good place to place an explosive or take the high point as a sniper if he wishes.
The area is not heavily wooded but there are a few copses of trees and that is where the cover of the trees and the darkness hides Kaldo. Alright Garrett, what do you do?
AIU-066; "Garrett Liantin"
Sniping seems a little risky, an explosion might make a better alarm; could I possibly rig an energy cell to explode on a timer? Presumably they could be overloaded to explode, maybe with a Mechanics check?
"If only I'd had time to purchase some explosives," Garrett muses over the commlink, spying an empty supply shed. "Well, you never know what they'll have in storage; let's take a look before we start shooting, shall we?" Garrett grins as he slinks into the supply shed and takes a look around, trying to find either explosives (either intentional or improvised) or useful supplies before he decides to scramble up onto the roof. "If I can set up a detonator of sorts, I could lure them over here with a couple shots; when they get here I can detonate the shed and give you time to escape. How's that sound, Kaldo?"
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19
Mechanics: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23
If necessary, Garrett will attempt to rig one of his energy cells to explode. If the CSA are storing any explosives he will use those, although he may set up an energy cell to shoot it when he runs away, triggering the detonation.
Gamemaster the Living Force
Endregaard - Evening 2 - Garrett
Garrett is in luck, the supply shed does have a handful of explosives that he is able to rig to blow up.
Once Kaldo responds that he follows the plan, we'll get this started...
Kaldo Vantai
Sorry about not being able to post yesterday
Kaldo responds on the com-link Sounds like a good plan. Make sure you can get away in time, or set some sort of timer or something
AIU-066; "Garrett Liantin"
"Excellent; I'll give you the signal before I start shooting." Garrett starts to rig the explosives to detonate together, attempting to place them to create the maximum amount of shrapnel and debris from the explosion. Once satisfied, he slides out of the shed and climbs up its side, taking up a position with his rifle across from the transport. "This'll be fun... I haven't blown anything up in a while," he says, before turning on his commlink. He sets the detonator for the explosives next to him atop the shed, and signals to Kaldo. "Alright, get ready for some fireworks," Garrett says as he lines up his shot on the guard's head and pulls the trigger.
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (20) + 13 = 33
Attack Roll; Critical: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (11) + 13 = 24
Damage: 4d10 + 5 ⇒ (7, 1, 10, 3) + 5 = 26
Damage; Critical: 4d10 + 5 ⇒ (5, 6, 8, 2) + 5 = 26
Total of 52.
If that ISN'T a critical hit, Garrett will spend a Force Point to make his total roll 2d6 ⇒ (4, 5) = 9 a 29 instead of a 24; if it hits, he'll keep the Force Point.
In addition, if the target is still alive, he moves two steps down the Condition track.
Kaldo Vantai
Kaldo dashes towards the transport, weaving in and out of cover to try and keep himself away from the notice of the guards, even if they are startled by the explosion. Good work Garrett. Noisy. And with fire. Like it. He runs towards the transport, and attempts to get it moving.
Mechanics, if needed: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
After fiddling with the wires and engine, Kaldo jumps in the transport and attempts pilot it towards Garrett.
Pilot: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14

Is there anyway for Rennah or Errin to somehow gain access to surveillance, to see what's going on?
You would need to Stealth to get near the CSA building or head through the security check point. I will hold for you and Errin to giver you time to decide whether you want to stay put or head up as they have been gone for some time.
Gamemaster the Living Force
There is a map up so you can see where the guards are. Garrett, let me know which Guard you shoot, one of the ones around the Transport I assume. Kaldo, you can head between the Guards at the Transport and try to jump in but you need to make a Stealth check to do so without them seeing you as there are still 5 left. Note that Kaldo you are partially obscured by black matte at the top while Garrett you are partially obscured by Black matte at the bottom.
I will push the action forward once the Ladies in the party decide to head forward or hang back.
As for the 6th one, he's dead Jim...

Endregaard - Evening 2 - Kaldo and Garrett
Once the shot rings out, three of the five guarding the transport run towards the supply annex pointing at it and firing. Two are disciplined enough to remain near the transport.
Of the three shots taken at you Garrett, one actually comes close! Still, you are in more danger form the burning building than you are from their fire you would wager.
The two who were standing guard near the door press closer to the building after one of their brethren dies, it seems they were not as clear as the others form where the blaster shot came from.
Kaldo you are behind the transport and can get the drop on one of the ones near it but not both based on their positioning.
Kaldo and Garrett's actions!
AIU-066; "Garrett Liantin"
"Kaldo, the last one's on you; I'm taking a shot and then I'm bailing out." Garrett takes aim with his rifle once more, and sends a blaster bolt towards one of the last two guards near the transport. As the blaster shots fly past him, Garrett dodges deftly out of the way as he scoops up the detonator in one hand and prepares to leap towards the tree cover.
Attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 21
Damage: 4d10 + 5 ⇒ (7, 8, 3, 6) + 5 = 29
How did the building catch fire? I didn't detonate the explosives, was it the blaster bolts that did it?
Gamemaster the Living Force
Hmmm, I must have misread the fireworks post Garrett and assumed that you set them off already. My mistake! Well, when you hit that tree, I assume you will blow the building yes? Thought it was pretty ballsy to detonate while still on it!!!
Make an Acrobatics check DC 15 to land safely in that tree.
Garrett is an efficient sniper as his second victim falls to the ground dead.
Gamemaster the Living Force
Go ahead and make the roll, we are in a somewhat "cinematic" mode at the moment. Assume that they move forward and discharge again missing you, especially at the back of the building with full cover.
AIU-066; "Garrett Liantin"
Okay. Are you in fact merging Acrobatics and Jump? If so, I automatically succeed; Garrett's Jump Servos upgrade allow him to take 10 on Jump checks at all times, and re-roll failed checks. If not, and the check is not a Jump check, I will roll for Acrobatics itself.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22

Not a merger per se but the Acrobatics is to actually stay IN the tree without falling which you have done successfully :-)

Endregaard - Evening 2 - Kaldo and Garrett
Kaldo you get the jump on the CSA goon guarding the transport. You are free to hop on and start it up.
Not home so I cannot update the map with the now deceased member.
Can I assume you blow up the building after you scale down the other side Garrett? :-)
Gamemaster the Living Force
Endregaard - Evening 2 - Kaldo and Garrett
As Kaldo hops in the transport and turns it over, the guards running towards Garrett stop and turn in his direction. Garret climbs down the tree and can see that he is losing the attention of these men and decides to get it back again by blowing up the supply building!
Garrett 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (18) + 14 = 32
Kaldo 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28
CSA Guards 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15

Endregaard - Evening 2 - Kaldo and Garrett - The Administration Building
Garrett, as the round starts you are on the ground next to the building now on fire. Kaldo, you are in the transport and it is started up.
Gentlemen head over to this thread...
Gamemaster the Living Force
Endregaard - Evening 2 - Outside the CSA Compound
Rennah & Errin
You both hear and see that explosion from within the compound...
AIU-066; "Garrett Liantin"
After a moment, Errin and Rennah hear Garrett's voice through the static on their comm channels. "Errin and Rennah, come in; Kaldo's starting up the transport, but we've got movement from the administration building. I'm covering his exit from the tree line, but he'll probably be coming in hot. He's headed your way, so stay in contact; we'll formulate an extraction and regroup once we've outrun them." After that, Garrett's voice fizzles out again.
Errin Khass
"What is it with boys and their explosions?" Errin says with a mock sigh. "If they're coming in hot we better be ready to grab a ride -- or provide covering fire."
Rifle at the ready, the bounty hunter looks for any sort of roof access from within the building where she and Rennah are hiding. If she sees none, she heads outside, then activates her jet pack to boost herself up to the roof, where she'll take up a spotter's position and watch for targets pursuing Kaldo.
AIU-066; "Garrett Liantin"
"Kaldo might need back-up; he's firing up the transport now, but I have a feeling any guards in the administration building are about to make their way out here." Garrett pauses, the chaos and shouting from the CSA outpost coming through muffled on his line. "I'll keep him covered until he leaves the compound, but after that he'll be behind the trees. I'd head that way and get ready for a rough extraction; I'll take care of the stragglers."
Rennah Mars
Rennah grins at Errin. "Who doesn't like a good explosion?"
She then turns on her comlink:
"Roger that Garrett. I'll join you by the trees, and see about providing backup fire from there.
And with that, Rennah runs off at full speed, heading towards the trees.
Rennah Mars
"Confirm Jedi please Garrett. I don't want to spoil our presence anymore than we have to. They'll be able to tell the difference between Errin and I, and a bunch of Sith."
Still running full tilt towards the tree, Rennah drew her Lightsaber, but without igniting it.
I hope I won't need to use this today, but if I have to, it's a better choice than my blaster.
