Vinccenso Pruffi |

Stepping to his left, Vinccenso slams his fist against the back of the thug's head.
5' step to E2
Punch: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 1 + 2 = 13, if that hits... fist to the Head!: 1d3 ⇒ 2

Évelyne Sauveterre |

Évelyne gives Vinccenso an incredulous look. Wizards don't punch people! Or maybe some do, but that one looks like he couldn't lift a meager ten stones over his head. "So, what was I saying? Oh, the importance of the footwork! Can't ever forget that!"
Taking a swing at S1 this time.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Damage: 2d4 + 3 ⇒ (3, 3) + 3 = 9

Tesia |

Tesia, a look of concentration on her face, takes another swing at a soldier. aiming for S1 as well
attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
She says nothing as she continues to fight, her thoughts elsewhere.

GM Henry Fortuna |

Èvelyne is so busy instructing the soldier on the finer points of swordplay that she trips over her own feet. Tesia, however, maintains her composure, striking the uninjured soldier. Vinccenso does something uncharacteristic for a wizard, provoking an attack from his target. The wizard's fist surprisingly lands, leaving a red welt on the soldiers face.
S5's AoO: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11; miss
Brienne attacks, taking advantage of Vinccenso's strategy.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13; Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Verrill tries to take out his foe once again.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12; miss
"Vraiment?!" he says in frustration.
The soldiers attempt to better their efforts.
S3 vs Verrill: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17; miss
S1 vs Èvelyne: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17; 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
S5 vs Brienne: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22; Confirm: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5; Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
With a blow landing on Èvelyne and the halfling severely wounded, the soldiers seem a bit happier with their performance.
S5: 11, 2 non-lethal
S1: 12
S3: 2
B: 4
Round 3: Brienne, Verrill, Soldiers, Èvelyne, Tesia, Vinccenso

Évelyne Sauveterre |

"Urgh... That was a good one! See? You're improving! Évelyne cheers on her opponent, even while bleeding from the fresh wound. "But I think that this is enough for today. Good night! Remember to practice every day, and some day you might even be as good as I."
Attacking S1 once again.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
damage: 2d4 + 3 ⇒ (4, 1) + 3 = 8

Vinccenso Pruffi |

Vinccenso's unarmed attacks don't provoke AoO's. He has Improved Unarmed Strike. Yes, I know, he is flagrantly sub-optimal...
Sliding under the thug's wild blow, Vinccenso decks him again.
Punch: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 1 + 2 = 19, Pow: 1d3 ⇒ 1, ok, not much pow...

GM Henry Fortuna |

Oh, well that's unexpected...
As Vinccenso lands another punch, Brienne attacks with her sword.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24; Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Verrill swings and bites again.
Sword: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8; miss
Bite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17; Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3
He takes a chunk out of the soldier's neck, dropping his opponent at last.
S1: 4
S5: 5
The soldiers continue to hold the line.
S1 vs Èvelyne: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17; Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
S5 vs Brienne: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11; miss
Round 4: Brienne, Verrill, Soldiers, Èvelyne, Tesia, Vinccenso

Vinccenso Pruffi |

Yeah, basically the idea was that Vinccenso was a Wizard by default. He had the talent but no drive to really shine as a Wizard. He has improved unarmed strike instead of a feat that would actually help him because he would carouse with the footmen at night & get into bar-brawls instead of focusing on new & better ways of using magic to reduce people to their component elements or some such.
Once more, Vinccenso smacks the thug in the back of the head.
Punch: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 1 + 2 = 17, Pow: 1d3 ⇒ 1, all this copper & nickel-ing the guy will eventually take him down, right?

Évelyne Sauveterre |

Well, the only thing a wizard needs is enough Intelligence to cast his spells.
"I thought I said "Enough for today". Évelyne whispers, finally starting to feel her wounds. Despite them being severe enough that they would drop just about anyone but the toughest ones, she once again effortlessly swings her large blade at the remaining soldier.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Damage: 2d4 + 3 ⇒ (3, 4) + 3 = 10
Confirm: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Damage: 2d4 + 3 ⇒ (1, 2) + 3 = 6

GM Henry Fortuna |

Èvelyne, tired of having her lessons in swordplay turned against her, finishes off the soldier with a excruciatingly painful attack. Brienne nods at Tesia as the halfling receives more healing. The wizard turns out to be a capable boxer, landing yet another jab on the soldier.
B hp: 10
Brienne attacks again, hoping to finish this part of the fight.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13; Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
The remaining soldier is on his last legs and Verrill rushes to attack.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5; miss
The kitsune spits on the ground. "Ce doit être une sorte de blague!"
The soldier doesn't like Verrill's tone, so he turns to attack the rogue.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9; miss
Round 5: Brienne, Verrill, Soldier, Èvelyne, Tesia, Vinccenso

Évelyne Sauveterre |

Évelyne decides to let the others deal with the final opponent, taking a moment to catch her breath. She mutters a short prayer in abyssal, then places her hand on the worst of her wounds that promptly begins to knit itself close.
CLW: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Tesia |

Raising her warhammer once again, Tesia looks at the remaining soldier,"I believe my companions and I have had enough of you and your friends."
She takes another swing at the wounded soldier.
attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Tesia |

"Hmmm, I don't know. What if they hurt her? We should maybe look around here, or at least wake up Quintz and see if the traitor knows anything." She nudges Quintz with her boot,"Hey, wake up."
If nudging him with her boot doesn't work, Tesia will get some cold water and pour it on him.
