I had a question a while back, do you use under common in your game? Or would Terran be more useful/ in character for the dwarf?

I use undercommon. The only PFR languages I don't use are the Golarion ones, like Xian/Chelish, etc., i.e. common is common everywhere, and only differentiated by accents instead of vocabulary.

But yeah; dwarven and aquan and etc. etc. are all legit.

I guess it looks straightforward to me? Free action to roll, only counts for your rolls, must use it before start of your next turn or it gets fizzled. What alternate way were you thinking it might get used?

Still waiting on the final ruling on Tora'an. And soon as I get Zan worked out (Today! Today!) would love your feedback on that too.

The alternate interpretation I saw people arguing about was that 'any time' includes after you've rolled for something, like you get the free d20, it's decent, and then you roll for attack and you get a 2, and then you use the free d20 to replace it. Rather than not being able to replace something you've already rolled for normally, having to decide if you want to use the d20 instead of rolling at all.

Ohhhhhh, I gotcha. So in other words as a way to save yourself from a crappy roll. My interpretation is that you have to call it before you roll, so in other words "I'm using my Prescience roll now", and then you don't even roll the dice, you just take the number from the Prescience roll. We'll do it that way.

Awesome, cool. Again, I'm terrified of seeing how bad my lack of rules mastery causes the flow of the game to break down as soon as we're in a combat situation, so removing as many unclear things I can is important.

Heh. Don't sweat it, I'm sure you'll be fine. PbP combat is hell of tedious no matter what, so the bar for success is pretty low, IMO.

Goddammit I lost another post! WTF! I did a response to Justahl last night that I verified was there, and now this morning it's gone. Man I am NOT going to start saving every single frickin' post I do in text files just to avoid this. Post management should not be my problem. What a pain in the ass.

All solved by an AWESOME little Free program called Yankee Clipper III. It stores Everything you Copy, so you just need a quick Ctrl-A and Ctrl-C and whammo presto, all posts are saved from the Post Monster.

Yeah I lost some when I looked back too. I had a post talking to the dragon and some of the others about their abilities etc. I lost one yesterday too. It showed as posted then it just wasnt there. Hope it gets fixed so we can get moving forward like we were.

A full silver dragon can. The dragonrider steed cannot. It doesn't gain that ability naturally. Through spells she can, so long as they are fasted by Min but he's not here. :)

DRA when Hurin spoke with the dragon what else could she have elaborated on about the Lich looking for the girl?

Which dragon? I'm not sure what you're referring to here, sorry.

The librarian, when I asked her about all the different factions after Cassandra she mentioned a lich but did not provide any further elaboration. I had not heard anyone else mention one before. Unless he is behind one of the dragon flights.

Ah. Van-Haera. Well, if you needed elaboration, you should have asked. *shrug* You can still track her down and find out more if you want, but that's something to be done in-character, not here in the OOC.

Though it does create an interesting problem for the elderly wizard: He can't refresh his spells because he was up every hour to use the toilet. Meanwhile the elderly cleric laughs at this trouble and refreshes his spells daily with no problem.

Hey is there any magic we currently have to be able to take the dragon with us? If we could have her human sized it would make her an easily transported trump card.

Na, you guys are strong enough and trust me Lin may be big but she isn't a full dragon. :)

She is setup by the dragonrider class to be a strong mount but she doesn't have all the abilities of normal dragons. She has quite a few abilities but none that would be worth the hassle of taking her along, well... Except her ability to fly I guess. lol :)

If you guys need her though I'm game. lol

Okay, I'm pushing things along now. Obviously you would all have a spare minute or two (that's minute, not "hour" :-p) to grab any last belongings (Hurin, Nasmarra, Astar), drop off reports (Gray), or finish a last couple interrogation questions (Jorzan, Nasmarra), so any more interactions in that regard, just spoiler it or mark it as Earlier.

Belsarious, Lin, Tora'an, Brook, Sarish, and Kevin are all being left behind. Only this group is going forward. So any more posts from Bel and Lin and Tora'an should now be done over in the Marianasu thread.

Oh! And an aside: I do appreciate the heads-ups from everyone letting me know when y'all will be gone, so thank you.

I'm back already, I was just driving a friend to Reno for Burning Man. Didn't even gamble too much away. I mainly noted my absence to 'fit in'.
