Id like to run either brine baxter or ceragia. Both were fun pbp characters ill try and figue how to link them to you.

Ceragia is fine by me. Just have to tweak her to the differing character creation template. No hero points on this one, traits have been specified (social & campaign, to help with background) add the non-hero level, she's already Garundi so that's good. Her current background story is good, minor tweaking there, however you may want to re-write a little after you select your traits. Quantum is not far from here at all. May want to include a reason for being in the Mana Wastes. Or if you wish create a new character it's all up to you bra.

Sent him a link yesterday on Skype. He got it at work this morning.

I'm sure it's gonna take a minute since he has to figure all the ins and outs of HeroLab and create a Pathfinder character for the first time.

Granted the HeroLab program will make it easier for him to create one, because he won't have to read every feat, skill, trait & special ability. The program will narrow that down once he picks a class. However, just imagine having to comb through all that stuff including all the archetypes for the first time.

i dont see campaign feats listed on hero lab is there a list somewhere else?

You can't really pick them. They are created by me after your backstory is developed. It adds an effective +1 or equivalent bonus like other traits but, also helps tie in with the campaign storyline itself. Since this is a free form game they will be generalized.

Campaign Trait examples are given on pg. 330 of the Advanced Players Guide. If you think one if those example are good we could tweak it to fit your story.

I will accept Story Feats & Drawbacks too but, I think I may be the only one that has access to some of the materials like the Ultimate Campaign Guide & Advanced Race Guide. I'm trying to keep it simple and keep it in the confines of what we may all have available through HeroLab and physical resources.

All these resource are open though so plug away. I know the Pathfinder Reference Document that is free on the internet has all this stuff for free.

Just hit me up for any questions. If there's a racial archetype you really want to play that has a racial trait that you like we maybe able to tweak the character creation convention above. The purpose for me doin it that way was to drive the traits towards more "fluff" story developing traits instead of offensive or defensive buffs.

Now that you posted in this thread its considered 'dotted'. Now all you have to do when you log in is hit the Focus tab at the top and will weed out all the threads that you haven't posted in leaving you a nice clean list.

The Focus tip was well received. Sat there for awhile yesterday just trying to figure out if I could subscribe to the discussion. Anyhow, I'm sure there will be plenty more to follow, as well as questions from.

Okay, I changed the character creation rule above again. What I changed was the traits. Instead of a campaign trait, since it's free form just select a regional trait based on where your character is from in you background. Sorry to keep changing things...last time I promise
