Mounted atop Yurei, Uesugi pulls the reins to the left and shifts his weight forward in the saddle. With his left heel he taps Yurei twice while he uttering several words.

Gallix's ferocious first punch is enough to knock the goblin onto the ground unconscious, but he can't resist and gives it a second punch in the face just to be sure.

Yurei's jaw closes around the helpless goblin's neck, fatally injuring it, and she follows it up by firmly stomping the corpse into the ground. Goblin fertilizer, perhaps?

Technically, combat is over, since both are helpless. What will you do?

Mr Peppers pulls out his crossbow and moves up next to one of the goblins "I can't imagine we're able to get any useful information out of a goblin, but definitely not a bile encrusted one. I do find it a bit curious that they didn't strike first at Yurei or Oolong, the bile must be messing with their sense of 'goblin'." He then removes the safety and points it at a goblin but delays touching it off for the group to respond.

The crossbow is a much finer make than his previous, with an ivory handle and some gold filigree down the stock forming some Dwarven looking letters across the top. "Not a bad crossbow, nice guy gave it to me for a 10% discount, said it turned up a while back and it suited me perfectly. I tend to agree!"

"Kill them." Sirettis is rather direct with her desires.

Let them do the hard work.

Sirettis seems startled, briefly.

CDG with 1d6-1 damage! YEAH!...or not. Someone else do it.

Uesugi dismounts some blood now staining his pants where goblin had struck. He raises his blade and brings it down through eye of the closest goblin.

He moves to the next goblin ready to end it's life.

D. walks south.

Mr Peppers reclicks the safety on and backs away from the remaining goblin, not wanting to be sprayed by the combination of bile and vile. "I guess that answers that question. Any important clues on them?" He casts detect magic to give a look while the others rummage the corpses.

"We should try to catch up to that poor farmer before he disappears." He says matter of factly, resting his crossbow on his shoulder.

When they head towards the farmhouse his eyes perk up and a heavy grin forms on his usual dour face "Oh how'd you like my new bile-proof spell? Not very useful on swarms of insects but works great on swarms of goblins! And of course its good when you don't want to harm someone too."

Uesugi and D finish off the two helpless goblins. Their bodies seem to have little in the way of clues or even valuable items on them, and Mr. Peppers senses no magic auras around.

As the dust settles from the goblin attack, the sound of deranged, off-key singing filters onto the field.

From the break in the fence to the south of you, you see three green shapes mounted atop menacing goblin-like dogs approach.

You don't have clear line of sight to them yet, and you have one round (move and standard) to prepare before they arrive

Mr Peppers grins quickly subsides as he hears more goblins coming from the woods, weird ones that sing. Even Miss Cup sings better than that... He turns back towards the group, pulling out his ironwood wand and summoning in his shimmering chain shirt.

"Guess this isn't over... and they're riding dogs!"

Draw and activate Mage Armor. Wand in one hand and loaded light crossbow in the other. Its loaded with a regular bolt.

Sirettis walks up to Uesugi.

They are NOT tools. They are my allies.

"Hold. I will heal you." She holds the samurai's arm and starts to put her mace away.

As soon as she holds his arm, her hair stretches and seeps straight into his wounds. It doesn't sting, but rather some of the wounds close. The blood stained hair breaks off and withers away.

Healing: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

"Wh-what? Yes. That will do." Sirettis recoils briefly.

Uesugi listens to the maniacal sounds of what he figures to be more goblins coming this way and is about to quickly moves to Yurei when the spirit grabs his arm in a firm grip. Soon he watches as her hair stretches and wraps itself around his legs where the goblins had injured him. The sensation tickles at first but soon he feels his leg strengthen and the pain slowly subside.

"Thank you spirit" pulling himself up into the saddle he holds his katana in one hand and urges Yurei forward in a quick trot.

"I will hold here. Spread about so they must choose who to engage. We shall fight on our terms."

Tickles? Man you're wearing full cover samurai armor, that thing is designed to not let anything touch you ^^.

"More target practice. Excellent."

D. walks towards the tree, and takes cover behind it.
He smiles vaguely at the thought of more goblin fodder.

lol if that was the case those simple goblin weapons shouldn't have cut me!!

Mr Peppers looks around nervously as everyone is spreading out "But what if we, personally, don't wish to be engaged? I mean... not all of us are of the same mindset as Gallix here." He snickers a bit. "Am I right Galley Poo?"

Uesugi: touch isn't the same as hit per sé. :)
Peppers-san: i was about to say something about that engaged, but then i read the 2nd sentence. Nice going there.

Ya its a pity I've set Mr Peppers as a bit 'tight' and by the book, I'm much more comfortable playing a joker. Maybe he'll loosen up a bit as time goes along.

Gallix looks down at the goblin whose face he had obliterated, then looks up at Peppers with a meaningful glance. "Hmm...that strike worked pretty well on the goblin. Wonder how it would do against a bit larger target?" He turns and walks along behind Uesugi, eventually taking up a position not too far from the samurai, and sets himself to receive the goblins.

Move 30ft. Standard to prepare an attack against the first enemy that comes within range, using combat expertise.

Mr Peppers gives Gallix an odd look "Well, you'd know better than I would but I'm assuming they'd work proportionately well? I'm sure you'll get a chance to test that theory in the generally near future."

Cup moves towards the tree starts a Bardic Performance tries to tell what direction the dogs are coming from.

The trio of goblin riders emerges from the break in the fence, their bows held high. A peek at their faces reveals traces of Demon's Bile in the corners of their mouths. The goblin dogs ferociously bark in Uesugi's direction.

The green and red-cloaked goblins urges their mounts forward, and then fire from their small bows, aiming for Yurei's flank and laughing happily as the arrows slide into her flesh.

The yellow one notices D in the tree and aims for his outline. With some luck, the arrow flies through a few leaves and strikes D in the chest.

All three of them have acted, so you are all up. Each goblin has a mount, so there are six targets to choose from.

D.'s kinetic barrier absorbs those 3 dmg. :)

"The gobs are infected with demon bile, but their dogs aren't!" Cup frowns. "Watch out, Uesugi, they want to eat your horse!"

"Don't worry, Uesugi! Your noble steed is defended by a dragon!"

Longjing waits for the gobs to come closer.

Gallix watches the goblins' arrows whiz by him and into Yurei's side. He turns to the goblins and calls out, "Hey, ya little green dust-mites! Why don't ya come a bit closer so we can show you what a real hit looks like?" He breaks into a run and charges directly at the goblin rider with the green hat on and delivers a punch intended to knock the goblin right out from beneath the undersized bowler cap.

Seeing arrows fly into his allies Mr Peppers gets a bit more serious. He drops his ironwood wand where he stands, hoists up his light crossbow and takes aim and fires at the red rider (beebee gun?) while he absentmindedly bobs his head along to the Yuletide tune.

He then hikes up his robes and hustles down into the tree for some cover with his empty crossbow over his shoulder. "We're coming guys!"

I'm planning to cast Obscuring Mist to force them into melee, as soon as it's my turn.

Yurei jerks slightly as the arrows draw blood against her flank Uesugi can feel her rage he holds her back for a moment and watches as the barbarian rushes into the fray of battle breaking rank. He could expect no less but Uesugi could not let the barbarian fight amongst the goblins and their dogs alone.

"Spirit the line is broken. Aid however you can but I must aid the barbarian." With that Uesugi lets Yurei unleash her fury and charges at one of the goblins.

As Yurei crashes into the hideous dog Uesugi slashes with his katana at the goblin's mount as well.

D blasts the yellow tinged goblin right off of its ferocious mount and onto the field, painting the grass in deep red as it bleeds out.

Gallix's punch hits the green-toqued goblin like a freight train and cracks its jaw, but it fights on!

Yurei's attack was enough to take the mount down, so Uesugi's attacks have been redirected on the rider
Yurei's charge smashes the small goblin skull's in two, instantly killing it. Uesugi then slays its rider with two brutal swipes from his sword.

Mr. Peppers, red is down, did you want to hit green with that attack instead? Also, Sirettis still has a turn.

Sirettis thinks about raising mist. But the party's speed and efficiency has almost ended the fight altogether.

Instead she wills the goblin dog to sleep, hoping its sudden stop topples the rider.

Slumber Hex: Will Save DC 15 or fall asleep for 2 rounds.

Sure Red, I don't have any ranged feats so I'm sure it'll miss either way with the penalties.

Yes, I realized after it didn't matter!

Mr. Peppers' shot zips through the tree, past the Red Arm martial duo and into the stream.

This goblin dog is much too angry to be affected by Sirettis' hex, and it barks viciously as it shakes off the effects.

With the bile coursing through its veins, the weakened goblin rider draws his mace and swings for Gallix, smiting his good-nature.

.. But misses. It pushes on its mount's head, urging it to bite Gallix,

.. But it, too, cannot reach the barbarian, and it breaks a few teeth from slamming its jaw shut on only air.

Gallix cries out in joy as Uesugi and Yurei tear through one of the other goblins and its mount. He was less successful in eliminating the goblin he had attacked. Looks like I'll need to try again. He fakes to his left, then swiftly jumps right, cutting right across his opponent and evading the snapping jaws of the dog. As he steps alongside the dog's side, Gallix makes a series of attacks against the mount and its rider, striking at the goblin with a left hook, then bringing his foot up into the dog's chest with a powerful kick.

His sidelong jump throws him off balance, however, and both strikes miss their mark.

D blasts the goblin dog into a pile of goblin goo, but Gallix indeed misses both strikes.

Seeing goblins and dogs falling quickly Mr Peppers decides to save his potent Arcane energies for later. Instead he pulls out a small tuft of wool from the hood of his robe and flicks it at the remaining goblin while saying some words in Elven:

Uesugi turns Yurei attention to the goblin and the goblin dog that the barbarian is now locked in battle with. Yurei tries clamps her teeth down on the goblin dog and then rears her front hooves high and stomps down.

Sirettis pulls out her crossbow, aims and fires. Not wanting to hit Yurei the bolt flies wide and buries itself in the dirt.

Sirettis lulls the final goblin to sleep.

Uesugi's too distracted by the lush greenery nearby and both he and his mount miss every slash and hoof thrown at the goblin rider.

Gallix takes another step to the side, so that he stands directly across from Uesugi and Yurei, , cutting off the dog's options for escape. He grabs at the scruff of the dog's neck to keep the beast still, then delivers a pair of lightning-quick strikes to its head.

Clearly not a friend of animals, Gallix picks up the dog and punches it, shattering its skull with his first fist, and bruising its brain with his second.

Yurei lets out a loud whinny as the foul dog bites into her leg. She reacts instantly kicking and biting at the dog.
