"I'm alright," Charity says. "Just trying to take a deep breath and relax. I...I feel like I have to look over my shoulder to see if Basir's there. I wasted so much time...trying to...do whatever it is I thought a Midwife was supposed to do."
"Well I think Konstantyna might be able to help with that too. She seems to be very devoted to duty." Rhadya says sitting beside her.

Cynafae |

"Thank you that should be enough for me to find them." She says before turning to her sister. "Mind if I borrow your place for a bit, Cyna?"

Rajni |

Grunting she sets the large bag of stuff on the floor in front of the counter, "It would appear that when he died my father left these things for Arista and the others to bring back to me as a kind of inheritance or whatever. I have no idea what half this stuff is or how much it's worth. I doubt I'll end up keeping all of it...but if you could figure it out for me then I could give some to the town and keep some I guess. Do you have time to look through it? It seems like quite a bit..." She says hoping that he can figure it up for her so she can at least take care of that.

GM Henry Fortuna |

"Kjell, come help me," Halfpocket says, going around the counter to look at the bag.
The half-orc comes up. "Should I wear the spectacles?"
"Probably," the halfling answers.
Kjell takes out a pair of bifocals and puts them on. He then opens the bag. "This is a lot!"
Halfpocket drags over a table and the two begin sorting through the items. Most of the gold, jewelry and gems go into one pile, a ring with a single ruby goes into another and small sculptures go into a third. After about an hour of sorting and appraising, Kjell hands the ring with the ruby to Rajni. "It grants one wish. I should think you ought to keep it."
Halfpocket writes out numbers on a small pad. "To the right people, this is worth about ten thousand gold, but that would require time and investments of your own. I can give you seventy-five hundred gold for it all right now."

Rajni |

Rajni's mouth hangs open as she takes the ring from him and sort of stands there dumbfounded for a moment, "Uhhh...yeah, sure okay. Wow...I guess he wanted to make sure I was taken care of? I've got more important things to do than go around trying to sell this stuff so I'll take it. I can give part of it to the town and then hold onto the rest I guess. Thanks for helping me with this." She says as she stands there with a stunned look on her face.

Rajni |

She nods, "Now I guess we go see Barclay and give him some money? I just...I don't know what I would even do with all this. This is....quite a bit of money to me and mama, auntie Priya, and Elena have always made sure I have what I need....so I don't want for much. It's just...it's weird...ya know?"
Looking over her shoulder she gives the two a wave as they head out of the shop.

Rajni |

Getting out the door she slaps her hand to her head, "Oh for the love of...I'm so stupid. I still need to see Halfpocket about some things. Since Juhi is gonna probably be coming to live with us and I'm gonna be training her I still need to get her some things. Maybe I should give some of this to mama to help take care of Juhi? I don't know, but I do need one more thing."
Turning almost as soon as they're out the door and going back in she says, "I'm sorry...I almost forgot the other reason that I'm here. Would you have, or happen to know who has a child sized bow? I need to be able to train someone very young and I need a working bow that they can practice with that isn't a toy."

Drago Zakharov |

"Sounds good to me," Drago said before giving her a peck on the cheek. After taking the bag of flour to the back, he helped her clean up.
When they finished, he asked, "Ready to go home?"

Alethiro Milocathe |

Alethiro stayed for the meal, although he admittedly didn't eat much in case Arista wanted to eat dinner with him. It was nice reconnecting again, and he would certainly try to make an effort to do this more often. After all was said and done, the bid his family farewell and headed home.

Arista Milocathe |

Because....cuz I left town without telling anyone, and went to Priroda which apparently is like four hours away even with two horses and a cart, I haven't eaten since noon, and I have Celine with me. Unless it's after 10 at night when you get home, I won't be there with no explanation as to where I went, except that my armor, weapon, Theon's sword, and bag of holding aren't there either. As soon as people figure out what I did and get a hold of me....I'm toast. It may not seem like that big of a deal....but the heart of the issue is that I left, while pregnant and with our toddler without telling anyone where I was going. The fact that the tower is active doesn't protect us from everything and even though I forgot how far away Priroda was I still should have told someone. That's why....I know there's gonna be at least a few that will not be very happy with me. I don't know....it makes me nervous.

Sādhanā |

Right after a statement about not being in the field anymore to Konstantyna. See if she ever takes your word at face value again

Arista Milocathe |

*whimper whimper* If I had known how long I would be gone I would have said something. I thought I was just gonna be gone a couple hours at most and would be back before anyone noticed. I'm not excusing what I did, I didn't do it on purpose though.....not really.

Arista Milocathe |

I took two of the largest horses to hook up to the cart, thinking that it would be faster. I didn't know that it would still take four hours even with Star and Azlan pulling it. Would it help if I said I'm really really sorry and I'll never do that again or go anywhere without telling someone? I really don't need a babysitter, I swear I'll be good.

Rajni |

Taking Dillon's hand she heads to the south end of town to find William after giving Halfpocket and Kjell a final wave. As they head that way she says, "I wonder if that's just something I can get, or if he needs to see her to get the size right?" She kind of shrugs, "Was there anything you wanted to do today besides running errands with me all day?" She asks as she leans into him slightly.

Clara Risbane |

Clara nods and puts a gold on the table. "Not a problem. Damn...that was a lot of goat...I feel bloated now..."
With a wave, she heads out the door and toward her home.

Barclay stands at the door, a tired expression on his face. "I wanted to let you know that we have Basir in custody. He will be executed tonight...it's up to Charity if she wants to be there but it will be at the town square. She also has a say in the method of his execution though we generally frown on anything prolonged or torturous."

Tesia Stormbringer |

Putting a hand on his arm she nods as her eyes grow damp. Looking down slightly she says, "Thank you....she's upstairs talking to Rhy right now I guess....we still need to get her to the temple for some healing. Some of her ribs....well they were broken and kind of protruding. I really think she'll just want to put this whole thing behind her and move forward, but I'll let her know what you said. Thank you...for everything."

Tesia Stormbringer |

She stops and thinks for a moment before scratching her head, "Come to think of it...I haven't seen her all day...but once we get Charity taken care of I can try to find her for you if you like." Looking up at the Paladin she asks, "Have you seen her at all today? I know she said there were some things she needed to do....but if I have some idea of where to start looking it might make finding her faster." She says as she looks up the stairs to see if Rhy and Charity were coming yet.
