Yessai manages to slide to the side of the encroaching gelatinous cube.

Mundarion, despite his poor aim, is able to hit the slow-moving, huge blob as easily as the broad side of a barn. It's AC is lower than you think.

Gemheart's turn.

Move to A13, shoot again.

attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 vs ranged touch AC
fire: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Despite his terrible aim, Gemheart's blast scrapes along the edge of the gelatinous cube, narrowly managing to hit! It's lost a lot of mass, but it's still moving...
Yessai's turn.

Female Githyanki Direlock (Fear Eater) //Warder (Zweihander Sentinel) 6; HP 51/41; AC 18/T 12/ FF 16; Fort +7, Ref +5, Will +7; CMB +7, CMD 19; Per +10, Init +4; Spd 30 ft.; Terror Pool 1/6

Yessai evades the slimy embrace of the cube by sidestepping quickly. She quickly ensorcels her blade and chops again with fervor…

DMB:
So they might have animal intelligence? Does Yessai think these ones do? Can she Intimidate them?

Yessai:
Yep, Yessai can tell that these gelatinous cubes have animal level intelligence. It can be intimidated, though that may be difficult.

As Yessai strikes, the first gelatinous cube explodes, sending chunks of slime, bones, and random objects flying throughout the room!

The mystical bond which held the oozes together snaps back, and is absorbed into the remaining cube! It seems to have grown stronger and more resilient as a result of the death of its companion.
De'arv'ki's turn.

Female Githyanki Direlock (Fear Eater) //Warder (Zweihander Sentinel) 6; HP 51/41; AC 18/T 12/ FF 16; Fort +7, Ref +5, Will +7; CMB +7, CMD 19; Per +10, Init +4; Spd 30 ft.; Terror Pool 1/6

Oh yeah!!!Yessai the killer!!!!

Srsly, let me have a moment to shine…;P

Yessai flinches as the gross matter sprays chunks at her, and grips her fell blade all the tighter to face the oncoming ooze-slaught.

Do we see any noticeable items flying out? Any go down the chimney?

Forgeborn map Armorist(Symbiotic Knight) / Incanter 6 || HP 53/60; g

Gemheart maintains his distance, and fires again, not wanting one of his weapons to be absorbed into the creature.

attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 vs ranged touch AC
fire: 1d6 ⇒ 6

1d256 ⇒ 92

Most of what flies out are coins and bones, but you can also see a tunic, a bow, an axe, several swords, an interplanar golf club, and some empty wooden crates. Also, there is a decent amount of diamond dust and other material used in crafting magic items. The bones, the recognizable ones, anyways, include The axe, bow, one of the crates, and a lot of the bones fall into the pit, while the rest scatters around the room, making the stairwell difficult terrain for anyone with feet.

With a strident cry Yessai changes the nature of her fell aura, her face contorted into a horrific grimace, her very clothes and armor emblazoned with profane sigils, pictograms and signs. A palpable wave of discomfort washes over the gelatinous beast...

Move Action: Move to B7 to encompass gelatinous cube in dire zone.

Swift Action: Change inimica to Weakened Resolve*.

Weakened Resolve:
Weakened Resolve: The direlock’s fell regalia is limned with terrible images, script and symbols. The direlock’s DC when making an Intimidate check meant to demoralize a target within her dire zone is equal to 10 + 1/2 the target’s Hit Dice + the target’s Wisdom modifier. This is a visual effect.

Standard Action: Demoralize!

Intimidate (Demoralize): 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (2) + 13 = 15 So due to weakened resolve (before any considerations of the cube's extra-powered link/buff), the DC is 10 + 1/2 the cube's HD + its Wisdom mod, instead of the usual full HD.

What a.....demoralizing roll. ';p

And that's my cue, isn't it? Yep.

The bones appear to include elf, goblin, Githzerai, ogre, and owlbear bones. And some others that are not recognizable due to being too fragmented.

De'arv'ki lands a direct hit. The ooze slides up the stairs and attempts to engulf Yessai!
Same deal as before: Either make a reflex save (DC 14) to avoid being engulfed, or make an AoO and automatically fail the save.
[ooc]Mundarion's turn, map updated.

Reflex DC14: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Yessai screams out in horror as the cube envelops her….

Shffblorrrp!

Inside the gelatinous cube is a rather unpleasant place to be! Its acidic interior starts to eat away at Yessai...
acid damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Simultaneously, an enzyme in the gelatinous cube tries to paralyze Yessai to prevent her from escaping.
DC 21 fortitude or be paralyzed. If you succeed on the save, you are staggered for one round.
Also, the inside of an ooze is not exactly breathable, so Yessai better hold her breath if she wants to live...
Also, regardless of the outcome of your saving throw, Yessai now has the pinned condition.

Will Githyanki bones be added to the collection of the ooze's victims?!?

Female Githyanki Direlock (Fear Eater) //Warder (Zweihander Sentinel) 6; HP 51/41; AC 18/T 12/ FF 16; Fort +7, Ref +5, Will +7; CMB +7, CMD 19; Per +10, Init +4; Spd 30 ft.; Terror Pool 1/6

Fortitude DC 21: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18

Yessai now pinned and paralysed.

But not shaken or stirred.

Male Elf Rogue 3 / Wizard 3 | HP 25/25 | AC 17, T 13, FF 14

Mundarion will back up 20 feet to square C-14 (move action), use arcane strike on his bow (swift action) and shoot at the ooze (standard action).

Forgeborn map Armorist(Symbiotic Knight) / Incanter 6 || HP 53/60; g

Gemheart maintains his distance, and fires again.

attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9vs ranged touch AC
fire: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Yessai ceases her movement, completely paralyzed. Without looking closely, she may even look dead, although if you look closely she is still breathing what air she can find inside the cube. (She's not dead...yet?)

Mundarion: If you back up without using a five-foot step or withdraw, the gelatinous cube will get an attack of opportunity against you. Is that still what you want to do?

Male Elf Rogue 3 / Wizard 3 | HP 25/25 | AC 17, T 13, FF 14

Actually that was what he did last turn but I can't move him on the grid using my smartphone. For right now I'll risk the AoO.

Hold on a minute...
Okay, I see, I forgot to move him back last turn. No AoO.

Mundarion and Gemheart fire upon the gelatinous cube, both hitting and knocking off chunks of slime, but not enough to set Yessai free. Map updated, De'arv'ki's turn.

Forgeborn map Armorist(Symbiotic Knight) / Incanter 6 || HP 53/60; g

i have masterwork weapons! my armor is the bit that i create with my mind, the rest costs money

i mean technically, i guess this type of ooze is the kind that eats organic stuff, since your equipment isnt dissolving, and it blows up into chunks of un-dissolved gear. but one can never be too safe...

Male Elf Rogue 3 / Wizard 3 | HP 25/25 | AC 17, T 13, FF 14

Probably good that her equipment isn't dissolving. Wouldn't want to have a naked githyanki running around. :-)

Gemheart's strike finally destroys the gelatinous cube! With a bang, it explodes, sending chunks of acid and objects everywhere!
Everyone except Yessai take 1d6 ⇒ 1 acid damage, DC 15 reflex save to half.

Yessai herself is thrown out in a random direction:
1d8 ⇒ 4
Yessai is flung northwest, banging against the wall and tumbling down the stairs. falling damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Plenty of other things fly out, too. Thousands of coins fly in all directions, including into the pit. Charcoal, rings, skeletons, sapphires, and black pearls, amethyst and diamond dust.
A steel statue depicting an elf flies into the pit, while a bronze statue of a beholder tumbles down the stairs with Yessai. Shields, armor, axes, and bows fly down to the lower landing steps, whilst swords of various sizes fall into the pit. There's also some completely useless memorabilia from Sigil's Lower Ward Tourist shops, and the head and legs of a long-dead stone golem, and some interplanar golf-balls to go with the club released by the previous ooze.
If you take enough time, there's no reason you couldn't pick up whatever of the stuff you wanted (and check what is magical.)

Anyone who inspects Yessai can find the following:

Heal, 15:
She is still alive, but does not seem to be recovering from paralysis very quickly.

Heal, 20:
The gelatinous cube's paralysis is actually permanent! It can still be recovered by powers which normally remove paralysis, but it will not wear off on its own. Time to look for a cure...

Combat over.

Forgeborn map Armorist(Symbiotic Knight) / Incanter 6 || HP 53/60; g

heal: 1d20 ⇒ 1

Gemheart will check on Yessai, though he can do little. The mysteries of flesh are beyond him at the moment. He gathers up what he can of what has been strewn about, without going too far down the staircase. He will repair the acid damage to his husk, though.

Male Elf Rogue 3 / Wizard 3 | HP 25/25 | AC 17, T 13, FF 14

Mundarion checks Yessai out.

Heal check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

After successfully identifying her arms, legs, torso and head; Mundarion has pretty much exhausted his knowledge of healing. Time to start the thread "101 uses for a paralyzed githyanki". :-)

Mundarion casts Detect Magic and starts sorting through the various items, for now simply putting the magic ones in a pile for serious analysis later.

ASF Check: 1d100 ⇒ 69

Forgeborn map Armorist(Symbiotic Knight) / Incanter 6 || HP 53/60; g

i probably have the STR to use her as a weapon.

Male Elf Rogue 3 / Wizard 3 | HP 25/25 | AC 17, T 13, FF 14

That's good to know. You'll probably be the one who ends up carrying her.

Mundarion finds several magic items:
--At the base of the stairs, there is a cold iron bastard sword with a faint magical aura. Cold iron is popular among the Pyramid's builders, it would seem, due to its use in the Blood War.

Spellcraft, 18:
It's a +1 sword.

--Hidden among the charcoal on the steps is a fain divination aura. Digging closer reveals it to be a wand.

Spellcraft, 16:
It is a wand which allows its user to see through mist and fog--and wand of Mistsight.
Mistsight:
Spoiler:
Mistsight
School: Divination; Level: Clr 1, Drd 1, Rgr 1

You can see through mist, fog, heavy rain, and other waterbased forms of concealment as if they weren’t there. For
example, a fog cloud spell does not provide any concealment miss chance against your attacks. All non-visual effects of the spell work normally (for example, a stinking
cloud nauseates you if you enter it, a solid fog slows you,
and so on).

On the bottom landing step, covered in diamond dust, is a piece of parchment with a faint transmutation aura.

spellcraft, 18:
It is a scroll of Bull's Strength.

On the eastern landing step, a small, green gemstone on a bronze chain emits a faint conjuration aura:
