Seeing that things slowed down in the last few days, I'd just like to say that this is an initiative-less combat and I will be waiting for everyone to either react or state that they are going to be away so that I can play out their actions. You can assume you are in range for all intents and purposes, and also that after the enemy has acted it is your turn (all of you) in any order you wish. You can coordinate actions if you want.

Also, I will be going on leave for the next two weeks, which means that posts from me will be generally a bit slower and possibly in varying times of day.

I feel I should mention that Daka is not hurt in the least. I just meant that he got a glancing blow as an excuse for the bad roll (in fact I should have written glancing blow instead of clashed, poor choice of words). Sorry if that made you charge in Shirak, if you would have otherwise stayed back.


I'm not sure if my roll was a critical threat because the spinal sword is said to have a x3 threat range, so I'm not sure if that means it has an 18/20 range or if it deals x3 damage. Shouldn't matter in this case because I don't think I confirmed, but I'd like to be sure.


Looks like it's just x3 damage on a Nat 20.

The weapons with increased range tend to be listed as 19-20 x2 style. I.E. the dagger.

Sorry for not clarifying that earlier, I thought it was cleared by RePete's comment. Spine sword has a normal 20 threat range, it just rolls 3 dice for damage on a crit.

There is no handle nor hinges in sight. The window is a one by one foot (30 cm) square with two thick metal bars across it.

Good news is I have power! Bad news is I'm still waiting on my ISP to have power. All reports say they should be up by lunch today, so we shall see. As soon as that happens, I'll get a proper post up.

All in all we fared OK. Lost a chunk of fence and have some minor roof work to do. Aside from that, we're OK. :)

I'm happy with freeform, it's a much more dynamic experience than the normal PFS game! It lets me explore roleplaying a bit more than the standard PFS games. I like those too but with this it strikes a balance for my learning experience. :)
