Between family stuff over the weekend and prepping for a new boss at work, it's been a bit busy. Hopefully things will settle down for a bit now.

FYI I will be teaching two summer school sessions starting tomorrow and for the next 3 weeks. I will try to keep up as much as possible but wont have much time to post during the day.

Since the Illusion talent doesn't particularly spell out a definitive benefit, apart from making the person see what you've created, I'm going to award benefits based on how you use it. All you have to do is beat the target's Will Defense and describe what your Illusion is.

okay. The description is vague in Saga. In the 3.5 version you could take ranks in the illusion skill and use it in a bit more specific way I remember we were trying to get to our ship and it was surrounded by bad guys so I rolled a NAT 2O on made an Illusion that a meteor was coming right for the ship. They ran away and we got on our ship.
I remember how it worked. Unfortunately, I think we'll have to play it by ear. Keep it more small-scale, for now. We can look at making it bigger as you level up.

I'm sorry for the constant posting delays. I don't have any good reason for them, and I definitely don't think that my delays are fair to you.
I'm leaving it up to you for continuing. If you guys want to keep the campaign going, we'll keep it going. If the posting delays have gotten to be too much and you'd rather end it, we'll do so, no hard feelings (I hope). Let me know your thoughts (or, if no one answers, I'll take your silence as your answer).

To be fair though, should we look for updates on a weekly basis, a monthly basis? A timeframe would be appreciated before a decision is made.
Weekly at minimum, hopefully more often. Usually my silences haven't lasted more than few days.
I will be on vacation for my 1 year wedding anniversary from August 6-9, so you should not expect an update during that time.

In general, summer and holidays are slower on these boards, so some delays are to be expected.
Just keep us in the loop....I'm not going anywhere...I dig koro and want to see where she goes :)
Oh and I fully expect an update on the 8th!! ;D

I am fine with the slower posting rate. I myself run so many games that I tend to bog down in DMing so I can relate, never enough free time! :-(

FYI, I will be packing and moving and then unpacking again over the next 35 - 40 days so if I have intermittent unexplained absences from the boards this is why.

We wont get the chance to feel the power of the dark side. Will you be perhaps running another Dark Side game where we might use these characters again?
We'll see. I'm learning just how difficult home-brew games are to run on the boards, given my usual semi-improvisational GMing style.
Typically, I'll create a campaign outline and then fill in the blanks more as events occur. I'm starting to notice that doesn't work as well in play by post as it does face to face. If I do, I'll likely want to have much more written out as specifics that I can easily reference, which takes time.
It certainly tells me why people typically run Adventure Paths as opposed to custom campaigns, at any rate.
