I'm trying to go towards some sort of healer, I did not know what dedicated was when I picked it (never played D20 modern)... Now I have optimized my character around healing, but sources are really limited in this system. I may actually have to pick up a PDF or something.
Mystic's the divine caster for healing. It's pretty much a cleric. I have the books but I've been using the SRD here. It's just easier. I could wish their layout and linkage was better, but it's at least got the Urban Arcana info, which the other SRD doesn't.

I'm trying to decide between shadow jack and techno mageThe from what I can tell the base classes are basically crap so it's best get out of them ASAP

My level 20 build is going to look something like
Smart hero 2/techno mage 9 or 10 (default 10) shadow jack 8 or nine (default 8) unless I decide to throw a few mystic levels in there
Since this starts level 4 that means smart hero 2/techno Mage 2

Could I get a summery of what's been going on?
The group is hanging out in a bar, someone claims that a town is being attacked by werewolves.
They go to said town to hunt the werewolves and find out the werewolves are taking villagers to make an army of werewolves in order to fight the vampire that has invaded their territory.
The leader of the werewolves tells them that in order to strengthen himself the vampire has used ancient magic to drain the land of it's energy to power himself up trough 3 fanes. If the group can destroy the 3 fanes to weaken the vampire they will release the captured villagers as they will no longer need them to win.
The group has thus far destroyed 2 fanes and a witch named Maria told them she would destroy the 3rd. However a day has passed she didn't return and they don't know for sure if she succeeded or not.
Time is growing short. During the next full moon the infected villager (around two dozen men and women) will turn into werewolves and the curse will no longer be reversible. The next full moon is in less than 12 hours now.
The group is now in front of Maria's house and is about to go to the last fane located in a swamp 2 miles south-west of the village to investigate the last fane.
And I am to already be inside
Do I know what happened Maria?
