The cozy little town of Crested Butte is being overrun by the supernatural and only a small band of hunters (mortals who hunt monster) can protect this town and stop this invasion of shadow from spreading.

John fires his weapons at the master of darkness but is distracted by the onrushing ball of death. Fortunately in the magical glow of the daylight flare the fire is revealed to be not but magical shadows.
Upon seeing his comrade did not fare so well he cries out in shock "someone, quick patch his wounds!"

Alisha tries to resist the power of the fireball by shielding herself from the blast with whatever cover she can find.

At the last minute she sees the fireball is but an illusion only taking a slight shock from the surprise of this magical power.

She yells, "Its an illusion! Disbelieve it and it will not burn you!"

It makes him angry and he clearly dislikes it but otherwise has no real visible effect on him.

Several shots strike the demon and he calls "Djinn I know you are there! Heed your masters call and help me strike down these mortals!"

You hear what sound like the laughter coming from the corner. "You no longer possess the stone! You cannot command me!" comes the reply.

"WHAT!?! YOU INSOLENT FOOL YOU WILL BE PUNISHED FOR THIS!" screams the demon furious.

He claws at Carson once more and takes a step back towards his former host.

No one noticed the sword in Dom's scabbard glow for a brief moment. But they certainly noticed when he suddenly sat up and took in a large breath. He looked all around, his eyes darting from one point to the next, before he realized where he was.

Finally, he asked, "Did I pass out again?" And at everyone's confirming nods he cursed loudly in Spanish. "Every frickin' time."

With all the talk about wishes Xannder chimes in again.

What's the big deal about this wish? I've seen Bedazled, dude's going to drive us over to McDonalds if we ask for a Big Mac and Coke. If this really is some reality altering mystical thing, lets spend it on something awesome! Maybe we could all wish that I have the ability to heal all wounds and afflictions. Then I could heal you guys up, heal your friend, and then cure the towns people of Were-wolf-iness. Why would you spend it on moving about Dracula's house? We just gotta find Lancelot and ask him to give us the tour.
