Description:
Joey Konani is a big guy. Football player big. Professional wrestler big. His beard is dark black and kinky, like his hair would be if he didn't shave it. Ever since he got out of the service he's let his beard grow and shaved his head, giving him a kind of fierce look. If it weren't for his ever-present smile it would be easy to be scared of him.
In spite of his size- or maybe because of it- he's one of the friendliest guys you're likely to meet. He's friendly and genuinely warm, bringing the famous Aloha spirit with him wherever he goes. He tends to joke around when things get tense, either from nervousness or out of a misguided effort to help those around him relax.
He tends to dress down- jeans and t-shirts, mostly- and even on the rare occasions when he dons a suit, his beard and shaved head look out of place. If he really wanted to pass as a cop or a soldier he would have to shave, put then with his build and manner he could pull it off perfectly.
