All, I am at a bit of a quandary. One of the reasons that Ghae is in the area is to fight a blight that is affecting nature. Initially, I thought that this would lead to the MoD and its demons. In recent discussions with DM Grimmy, it appears that while MoD is clearly evil, really evil, it is not actually causing a "blight". However, the new group of recruits in the third (fourth?) party are starting in another dungeon that is close by which is causing serious problems for nature.
Which leads me to my question:
In speaking with Grimmy, I can join with the new guys and fight this blight. After this, I can rejoin you all. I am sure that this is what Ghae would seek to do IC. At the same time, I would be leaving you all for the first part of the MoD.
Any thoughts on this are appreciated. I like this group, but this seems like a what my character would do (she would have learned of this from Killian). Also, from the advertising for this campaign, it is clear that some changing of players between parties was sort of envisioned from the beginning.
I am posting this just to let you all know. I really want to head into the MoD, but at the same time feel that to RP this correctly she should temporarily branch off and then meet back up with you all in the Ferry once the other dungeon is finished.

Here is the other dungeon in question Dungeon of Dread.
It's a super short 1 level dungeon bash.
Basically it's just outside Killian's territory but he's going to take advantage of the recent treaty violation by the Hecate faction to escort some captive PC's to the dungeon entrance to retrieve a family heirloom. (Normally he ransoms captive PC's to Zelkor's Ferry).
If anyone else wants to go they can too but it has to be an odd number (0, 1 or 3).

Jesus. I haven't seen any posts in here since the last time I posted. My campaign tab hasn't been telling me that anything new has happened. I'll update Eli tonight when I get off work (about 4 hours from this post) and send the new .por to you, Grim. I might have missed it though, when are we actually levelling up? The last post I see in game is from last Saturday, Trangles just took off with Killian. Is that still where we're at?

Okay, sounds good. I don't know why I wasn't getting any notifications for this. I wasn't having any issues with other campaigns.
In character, there's no way I'd head over to DoD. I've got s##* to take care of in RA.

DM Grimmy |
Yeah, I was pretty sure Eli was focused on MoD^^
@Q, if you want to go there's two ways to fluff it IC off the top of my head
1.) Mouth off and get captured by Killian
2.) If Ghae goes with him, go all white knight and follow to make sure she's ok.
But the OOC consideration is posting rate. IC comes first but in the back of my mind I am always looking at the big roster of players thinking they would be happiest grouped with people of similar pace preference/posting availability etc...
Not that Q has ever dragged the game down or anything like that, but you have expressed feeling overwhelmed by the pace before.
So just be aware, with DoD, post rate/pace was a bigger part of the conversation in recruitment than it was for MoD, so it is likely going to be a clip pace.
Edit: Ninja'd. Ok, IC comes first. So if Ghae goes Q will go. (but I do need an odd number)

Well before we were doing like 40-50 posts a day and that's when it was hard to keep up. I'd lose my bow and it would be buried like 40 posts back somewhere. Recently we've dropped back down to something reasonable so if they're posting dozens of times a day then yeah, I may want to keep away from that.

DM Grimmy |
Well I haven't seen them in action yet, but they all said they are able to check multiple times a day and post whenever there is something in the thread to react to, so it sounds like potential post flurries are on the forecast..
On my end I'll just try to keep up with whatever they can throw at me. If everyone's posting at least once a day average I won't be nudging for more, but I won't be pulling on the reins either.
With the exception of theater gigs and some of the big arena productions I can usually post enough from work to keep up with just about anything.

This happens to me when I erase all my cookies and get logged out of Paizo. Then I keep checking my Campaign tab and don't see anything. After a day or so I realize what happened and end up with a hundred or more posts to read.

Eli Szardos |

Yeah, I check multiple times per day, normally, but all of the massive bouts of posting here happens when I'm asleep. No matter what time of day that happens to be. It'd be infuriating if I didn't find it so funny.

I didn't clear anything though and I haven't seen updates on any of three different computers. I have no idea what happened.

DM Grimmy |
Let me know soonish guys.
0, 1 or 3 transfers is fine. (It needs to be an odd number because DoD is a split. I guess I could even manage 2 though, by inviting one of the DoD PC's over to MoD.)
Geographically it's nearby and when it's over the PC's will dump right at Zelkor's Ferry so re-integration with MoD will be seamless.
Story-wise it would be very organic. Basically DoD is happening because of the actions of your PC's which is pretty neat. Whether any of you are there to see it or it just stays off screen is up to you.

After mulling it over, I am taking Starlight Summons as my level 3 feat.
I understand the draw to stay with the group, but it is really hard IC where there is a blight that needs to be stopped which is what Ghae is all about. Personally I would like the whole group to go, but it sounds like there are not enough slots for that. In addition, as Grimmy has said, as soon as I finish the DoD, I will be back in the Ferry to rejoin you all.
Also, I have played some of the first level of MoD (possibly all, the other DM is creative and with the strange things in the dungeon, so it is hard to tell how much I have played). Thus, for OOC reasons, this is a good fit.

I can deal with that. Eli lvl 3 is up. The .por will be emailed your way shortly.
Edit: profile updated! Eli's ready to go!

Ghaelja Waldhaar |

Should be 5 - Hound, Eli, Raz, Q and Ogrim. You are level 3, almost level 4 and MoD is supposedly doable, at least the first level, by lower level characters. You also have most of the areas covered, weak in arcane, but my being with you will not help the arcane casting.

Raziel Drakan |

I think everyone should have a chance to play what they want if possible. So if Q wants to go, he should.
Ghaelja is right - we've got most bases covered. Soon I hope to get fully into my Arcane abilities, we've got divine, roguish, face, and hard hitting, strong front liners. The only area more lacking is ranged, but we just have to play it smarter. We'll be fine.
Also, I like the challenge.
