Raziel wrote: I think this is the key part right here - my perspective would be: IF there is the possibility to move to an unobserved plce of some kind (behind a tree, under a table, whatever), moving your speed (lets say 30'), THEN a Bluff check can be used to distract a particular target (maybe more with a penalty?), and then stealth to that particular location at -10 (because you are using full speed). That being said, if you make the bluff a standard, you would be able to bluff and stealth (as a move action). What I thought was Grimmy's suggestion was that we made the Bluff a free, or swift, or something - this would mean that, if the above conditions are met (there is a hiding place in 30' range AND you make your stealth roll at -10), then you could Bluff+Stealth+Attack with SA - it really does not seem that unbalanced to me. Yup, exactly, we're on the same page, that is what we are going with.
"create a distraction to hide" has no action cost associated with it, it's just an extra roll you have to make if you want to try to sneak away to concealment without starting in concealment.

I dunno I'll fix it.

I dunno I'll fix it. I've killed two of them and taken no damage. I think I own them. Wonder if I could pull a Harley on the last one... (Batman TAS reference. 5 points if you get it.)
We'll tally the 'ownage' at the end of the fight, the notches on weapon handles and all that :D
Got me on the harley quinn reference. Stumped.

Instead, as they're walking towards her (like the hyenas did to scar at the end of lion king) she just yelled "SIT!" and they've been her pets ever since, loyal to her and her alone.

Because Harley is the coolest thing to ever grace the pages of a comic book :) and hyena have good taste
Also, thanks for the heads up on the drawn weapon thing Grimmy. Had an npc get butchered not to long ago in a game I was running due to that.
I always thought drawing provoked until I met up with some guys from these boards to get some time on the other side of the DM screen and they were like "why did you 5' step and sling that goblin instead of drawing your sword?"
Going out of town for the day, not sure if ill have internet anywhere. Feel free to bot Ridley as needed.
Bumping from the shadows, just because everything is so quiet...
Giving Q a chance to catch up.
C'mon people... Where is everyone..?
I really don't want this game to fade away. Go!
Nothings fading away lol. Ridley said she was away from the net for at least yesterday, I'll bot her if she doesn't get back soon.
Nothing wrong with taking a breather.
Yeah, I'm cool with a breather - having a drink right now ;)
Just strange no one drops by even if just to bump is all.
Just got back with my daughter for the weekend. Posting will be a little sparse while I have her but I'll make sure to check in at least once a day.
Actually thought all the bad guys were down till I got a good look at the map.

I am at TotalCon this weekend. Posting will be light at best.
I think the way I tracked time since you left Zelkor's Ferry was a bit wonky but it should have taken only one hour to get to Area 5 (bridge where you fought the crow), and another 90 minutes to track the gnolls to the encampment. So going on 9pm as you head back down the hill away from the gnolls.

Just discovered an error that was left over from a previous version of Hound. I got Racial Heritage:Orc so I could score the Keen Scent feat but I lack the wisdom of 13 in this version. Can I swap it out?
Sure. I remember you mentioned that you were going for that since the beginning.

Thanks. Took combat reflexes.
Oh ok I thought you were going to change the Wis. This is better though, less of a rebuild.
Curious on the setting. I have the Razor Coast book, also from Frog God, and remember them saying something about them expanding the setting it takes place in in the future...do you (anyone really) know if they're adding it into the setting that our characters are in?
Guys, apologies on the hold up - my youngest is sick, and it has not been easy bringing her back to her usual kick ass self.
Yeah, there is a new book coming out soon that will explain how it all fits together on the big map, but yeah, Razor Coast is definitely going to be in the same world.
Sorry to hear about the little one Raz, hopefully she's up and running soon.
Grimmy...cool. Depending how things go I might run Razor Coast down the line as a PbP.
Hold tight guys, swamped with work. Updates tomorow.

So it's Carnival weekend down here. Working around that, and that we're down three people at work (half of the unit), posting will be a bit sporadic. I'm still going to try to keep it at least once per day, but as evidenced by the last couple of days, I can't make any promises.
I'm stormed at work too but I have an eye on the thread. If we can run this combat gridless I should have no trouble keeping up from mobile.
Sorry I've been struggling to keep up guys, I'll be back in full force soon, don't worry I'll never abandon the game. Just been one thing thing after another this week!
Ok guys I shuffled things around a bit but I think every post fits into initiative this way. Game on!
Pluggin away on the loot tracker.

Got Ghaelja, Hound and Ridley input so far.
Apologies I never got to take care of that one Grimmy - things kept piling on top of each other RL... My bad.
It's cool, check it out though when you can, I'm getting everyone punched in little by little.
It looks like Ghaelja and Hound have a medium load and Ridley is so overloaded she can't actually even move!

I have my weight at 56lbs, and I would usually drop the Waterskin before fighting if I was close to medium encumbrance.
Are you including the weight of the explorer's outfit? For some reason I did not think that you included the weight of clothes in encumbrance.
If you are including clothing, then I would have ditched something, probably a waterskin.
Ridley is going to have to retire unfortunately. Things are picking up on too many fronts in my life. Sorry for bailing guys.
Ghaelja your accounting was nice and tidy but I got a couple different results when I ran it through the spreadsheet, you can see it line by line in the link. Take a look at the oil flasks, the coins, and the weight of the backpack itself.
I came up with 66 lbs total.
Female Half-Elf Druid(Treesinger)/3 - HP: 27/27; AC16, T15, FF11; F+4,R+2,W+7; Per +12; Init +1
Ah - my intention always is that if I am close to medium, I drop the waterskins the first round. I do not know if this can be done as a free action or requires more. Essentially, they would be connected to the outside of the pack with a quick release knot or something similar.
The other option is to empty the waterskins, reduce them to one, and swap Guidance for Create Water.
I hate reducing my speed, so I will do whatever is necessary to reduce this to light encumbrance. Sorry for the miscalculation.
No problem. I just found out a lot of people out there waive the encumbrance rules, I didn't think to talk much about this during character creation because my group has always used the RAW for carrying capacity.

What will Hound do without Ridley?!

I have a pet vine he can play with.
Maybe I'll bot Ridley until a more logical exit point presents itself (like back in town at least)?
Also, should I sideline/bench Ridley in case Fraust wants to jump back in at some point?

Hound has a mindset after my own heart :)
