Game Master ULTRAGEEK

This is the lore for my fantasy world. It may be confusing at first, with mentions of countries that exist in our world, but read on!

301 to 350 of 350 << first < prev | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | next > last >>

Male Tiefling 1 Alchemist(grenadier) | HP 8/8 | AC 15 (Touch 13 Flat 12) | Perception 5 | Fort 2 Ref 5 Wis 1| Initiative 3|

Zoren clumsily urges the horse on.
Unnaturally smart goblins?

Human GM

The halfling smiles at that, and keeps his eyes to the trail, looking for more traps. Soon, you turn left, and go through the forest. The brush is unusually thick, causing you to imagine what other parts of the forest might be like. Sektor dismounts his horse. To thick for them. Don't think we'll need horses from now on. And, don't worry, they know their own way back With that he continues. Suddenly, a net drops down from below, entangling Sola and Sektor in it's grasp!

Ok, made perception checks for everyone, to speed up time. Once you got everything you want, Korak, just add it to your equipment :)

For my eyes only :) :

Gorn: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (17) + 0 = 17
Zoren: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Sektor: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Korak: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Sola: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Brawnen: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19

For Brawnen:

You haven't posted in a long time, just checking if you added the 1000 xp. If you did, it's all good :)

Male Dwarf Korak

Pausing for a second Korak stops and scans the trees for enemies. Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

Human GM

For Korak:

You see 3 goblins running away, laughing madly. Their eyes widen as they see that you have spotted them. Two almost throw their spears, but a larger one stops them, and they continue running

Male Dwarf Korak

Korak points forward at the goblins. They run and laugh instead of fight. He turns to Sektor. Do you know of any friendlier tribes of goblins in this area?

Human GM

Tangled in the net, Sektor replies, looking a bit annoyed. All killed and conquered, as far as I know..... But there might be one, just West of here. Rumors were that they were conquered, but others say that they flee from the attack, and managed to survive

Male Dwarf Korak

Korak helps them untangle themselves. Hmm. What do you guys think? If they're friendly I'd hate to annoy them by taking the net. But if they were just too scared to take on a large group I'd hate to leave it with potential enemies.

Human GM

Sektor helps Sola up and nods at Korak. We should take the net and give it to them, if they really exist.. Better friends than enemies.. But what do the rest of you say?

Male Tiefling 1 Alchemist(grenadier) | HP 8/8 | AC 15 (Touch 13 Flat 12) | Perception 5 | Fort 2 Ref 5 Wis 1| Initiative 3|

"Maybe, we need to convince them that we mean them no harm.

For GM:

Got it :)
Did you see that I said I went into the animal supply store?

Male Dwarf Korak

Aye. T'would be best to leave as many friends behind us as we can. Yeh never be knowin when yeh might need them.

Female Halfling Mesmerist

Thank you She says accepting the help up, if you wish to try a more diplomatic approach i will not argue.

Gorn frowns in a complete lack of understanding. "They have attacked us without provocation. Such behavior should only invite destruction. I'll condone your diplomatic attempts, but I can see only fire and steel in our future."

Male Dwarf Korak

Ah rest yer hammer it was but a net. It maybe be nothin but a wee prank.

Female Halfling Mesmerist

Believe me Gorn, i wish to see some blood as well. but let's let them try their way before ours, dearie

Silver Crusade

Init:+3 | Perc: +5| Insp = | +5/d8+3|Shillelagh| Berries: | Shape: 2/2|W:+6 D:+4 C:+4 Druid 3 {Circle of the M00n}| AC 16 | HP 27/27 | 1st: 3/4 2nd: 2/2

Gorn nods at Sola, showing agreement.

He turns to Zoren. "Alright, we'll try it your way. Lead on."

Human GM

For Brawnen:

Sorry I did'nt respond to that. Can you give me a list of the merchandise you would like to buy?

Sektor nods. Wise. He begins leading the way, eyes open for any other traps. You manage to spot a few, and easily disarm them, as they are of crude quality. You continue walking, until a goblin walks up to you. Me's name is Chief Stormslaver the Great, he says, puffing up his chest in a failed attempt to look brave Why you be on my territory!

Male Tiefling 1 Alchemist(grenadier) | HP 8/8 | AC 15 (Touch 13 Flat 12) | Perception 5 | Fort 2 Ref 5 Wis 1| Initiative 3|

Zoren turns to Korak and whispers:
You know, I thought there would be more than just the chief coming to greet us.
We come to make peace.

Male Dwarf Korak

Aye. We think some of yours played a wee bit of a prank, but we not be wanting any trouble.

Silver Crusade

Init:+3 | Perc: +5| Insp = | +5/d8+3|Shillelagh| Berries: | Shape: 2/2|W:+6 D:+4 C:+4 Druid 3 {Circle of the M00n}| AC 16 | HP 27/27 | 1st: 3/4 2nd: 2/2

Gorn almost breaks into a sweat trying to not crush the lone chief.

Human GM

Another goblin appears behind Chief Stormslaver, clearly look more composed. He whispers into the chiefs ear, and you hear something about magic items. The chiefs eyes go wide. He shouts Attack!. 6 goblins pop out from their hiding places behind trees, spears and torches in hand.

Initiative:

Goblin 1: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Goblin 2: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
Goblin 3: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Goblin 4: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Goblin 5: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Goblin 6: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Gorn: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (13) + 0 = 13
Sola: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Zoren: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Korak: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Brawnen: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18

So, the init order is:
Goblin 5
Goblin 3
Goblin 6
Goblin 4
Goblin 1
Brawnen
Goblin 2
Gorn
Korak
Zoren
Sola

Human GM

Will post their actions when I am done making the map. Their rolls were very lucky :)

Male Dwarf Korak

F&+@!

Nice ...

Female Halfling Mesmerist

[ooc]This is bad[/b]

Human GM

Oh No... I really don't want a TPK...That would suck... a lot

Human GM

One of my friends who also uses Beyond Tabletop just informed me that the link-share-editing-thingy may not work anymore. I'm going to try and create and share the map, and hope it works. :)

Human GM

Try this link

Male Dwarf Korak

Nope. You have to give us edit access by putting our gmail accounts into sharing with settings. I got hit with this before you did. I'll send you mine via PM

Human GM

Thanks Korak!

Male Dwarf Korak

No prob. Coulda swore I said it in discussion though.

Human GM

Goblin 5, grinning and laughing, throws a torch at Brawnen. The torch ignites the ground beside her.

Goblin three attempts to throw a torch at Korak, but misses, igniting the ground between them.

Goblin 6, probably less tactically smart as his comrades, charges at Korak with a spear.

Attack Rolls:

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Damage, if hit: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Goblin 4 throws his torch at the ignited grass beside Brawnen
Goblin 1 moves to guard his chief, and attacks Zoren
Attack Rolls:

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Damage, if hit: 1d6 ⇒ 6

I don't think I can PM on this. Is a spoiler okay?

Human GM

Sure :)

Silver Crusade

Init:+3 | Perc: +5| Insp = | +5/d8+3|Shillelagh| Berries: | Shape: 2/2|W:+6 D:+4 C:+4 Druid 3 {Circle of the M00n}| AC 16 | HP 27/27 | 1st: 3/4 2nd: 2/2

As much as a half-ogre can be smug, Gorn laughs smugly. "Ha! Aren't you glad we tried diplomacy first!"

Then he moves to the nearest patch of grass that is next to a goblin and is not on fire and does his level best to cut the thing in half.

Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
Damage: 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (3, 2) + 9 = 14

Human GM

Gorn's blow completely severs the goblin's body in half

I'm guessing we'll do this with or without the map, but do you still need emails to share the map?

Human GM

Yeah, sorry, the link share thingy does not work anymore

Human GM

Looks like brawnen has a lot of irl stuff going on. Going to bot her
Brawnen aims her bow at the goblin who threw fire at her
Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
Damage, if hit: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Human GM

Brawnens arrow sails toward the goblin, hitting him in the chest. However, it bounces off it's armor, doing no damage.
Goblin 2 throws fire at Gorn, missing, and landing halfway between them.

Sorry. Yeah, lots of irl stuff (thanks for the bot). If you need email to let me access the map, email is here (if not needed you don't have to look)

Spoiler:
ailill.the.seal@gmail.com

Male Tiefling 1 Alchemist(grenadier) | HP 8/8 | AC 15 (Touch 13 Flat 12) | Perception 5 | Fort 2 Ref 5 Wis 1| Initiative 3|

Zoren stabs the goblin in front of him with his shortsword.
attack: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (15) - 1 = 14

Human GM

Zoren, that goblin is dead

Female Halfling Mesmerist

Sola moves and attacks

attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 Damage = 8 if confirms

critical confirm: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Sorry for the hold up, been a bit busy. Don't have time to do much else right now

Male Dwarf Korak

Korak swings his hammer at the beast, next to him. Earthbreaker: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14

DMG: 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Ye wee beasties made a bad choice here today little 'uns!

Human GM

Korak's hammer swings right beside the goblin, while Sola manages to hit the goblin, totally annihilating it

Male Tiefling 1 Alchemist(grenadier) | HP 8/8 | AC 15 (Touch 13 Flat 12) | Perception 5 | Fort 2 Ref 5 Wis 1| Initiative 3|

Zoren will move 1 square right and 1 up and attack the chief.
attack: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (7) - 1 = 6
damage: 1d6 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1

Human GM

Zoren's attack misses the chief, who calls on his henchmen to simply wait as the fire spreads.

Human GM

Brawnens turn! Here is the init order again
Goblin 5
Goblin 3
Goblin 6
Goblin 4
Goblin 1
Brawnen
Goblin 2
Gorn
Korak
Zoren
Sola

Human GM
