Gorn Steelbreaker

Sw33t! Okay, that -is- an approach. ^_^
Gorn, standing in readiness, muscles held taunt like the coiled spring of a siege-class ballista, sees the goblin spring toward him, moving like a steel-clawed zephyr. The cyclopean fighter remains motionless as the monstrosity draws closer, until, moving like a great cat, he unleashes his massive two-handed sword at the thing, cleaving through the air with a mighty swoosh.
HalfOgre ATTACK!: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
HalfOgre DAMAGE: 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (3, 3) + 9 = 15
Legoguy, a x3 multiplier means you only roll damage twice more. Hence 1d6 x3 is 3d6 total. =)
Branwen Redwolf
Whoa. Lots of gameplay since I last checked in. Great!
Branwen lets loose a sleek arrow. (Precise Shot, far shot, point-blank shot)
PEWPEW: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20 Nice!
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Like a falcon swooping in on its prey, the arrow bites into the goblin creature.
"Direct hit! I know I do a lot of things well; killing goblins is an addition to the list."
Don't know if it's my turn. So ... much ... writing ...
ULTRAGEEK
Gorn's sword slices the mutated-goblin-thingy across it's chest. It begins bleeding heavily. As the arrow bites into the goblin, it falls, and stays limp. A mutated-goblin similar looking to the first one jumps out of the trees. It's eyes widen and it screeches like a banshee.
The area on the right of the blocks of the stone is a steep drop off a cliff.....
Sola Nym
Sola moves into place on the side of the new goblin, activates hypnotic stare once again and attacks. also i messed up my additional damage from before, i'm supposed to roll a d6 when i apply it to myself.
attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
painful stare damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Was that the goblin's action on 10? It moved into combat? Ultrageek, could you gently remind us that the party is up when you do a monster post? =)
As Sola fixes the horror with her painful stare, Gorn's large frame moves toward the goblin like a contraption of death, the scales of his metal armor clinking and clacking like a siege engine. Again the mighty sword is raised and lowered with the force of a thunderbolt.
Attack!: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
Damage!: 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (6, 6) + 9 = 21
What? You didn't bring him along for his personality. ;-D
ULTRAGEEK
The mutated horror attempts to wrench away form Sola's painful stare, but can not. Gorn's sword comes down and decapitates the monster. When the goblins body hits the ground, a weak moaning can be heard, one that was too quiet to be heard over the din of battle. This noise comes from behind the tipped over wagon, and sounds very different from the noises of the goblin creatures.

Gorn shakes some blood from his blade and it comes away in sprinkles. He bellows, "Now that I am warmed up we can fight in earnest. Let us see what mother of beasts lies in wait in ambush under this crashed cart and see if a fight of note is to be had!"
Gorn swings one of his tree-trunk legs and tips the wagon over with a steel-toed boot large as a wild boar. His steel is held high, ready to slay any that are under it.
Ultra-G, thanks for not making that a Notice role. Some would've done that it it just would've slowed down the pace unnecessarily. =) Also, I'm drawing from my obsession with the works of a certain Robert E Howard. I hope you enjoy. =3
Zoren Ekrias
Zoren rolls under their wagon(not the one on the road, but the one they ride on) and crouches. (if there is no space, he lies prone) he aims his bow while his tail (prehensile tail trait) nervously wraps around a bomb.
If it is another enemy, I can cripple him or at least distract him for Gorn to kill him

The other wagon ain't on the map, and with only one non-party creature in play, we can keep it theater of the mind right now. (Besides, I got a hunch of what is playing out. =)
Zoren Ekrias
Is the wagon visible in the map, you mean , right?
Zoren rolls out of the wagon and walks to Gorn. He points:
"Look, he has bite marks on his body. The goblins had blood dripping from their mouths, if the goblins were working with him, why would they bite him?"

Gorn recovers and helps the dwarf up. "Hail and well met. What are you doing out here, alone and tempting the goblin-folk with your tasty flesh? Are you some merchant seeking isolated markets, or a wanderer with an unusual death lust?"
ULTRAGEEK
Aye, me's a merchant o' sorts. Helped free Torinz from the gangs, but had a target on me head. Rumors say the gangs want to control Teraster, so me's headed there, acting as a merchant. Some o' me friends were coming with me, but a score o' orcs waylaid us. Was knocked unconscious, and woke up to see that these monsters chewed me up

"Well, sir...I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name? Anyway, sir dwarf, we are headed there now, as I do not currently see any orcs, though I am greatly saddened by their absence.
You are welcome to accompany us to continue your mission. If you promise no mischief you may ride in the wagon. If that does not suit you, I bid you a good day."
Gorn cleans off his sword with a bit of rag, then gets back to the road, waiting impatiently to continue.

Gorn looks confused. "Companions? I see no companions. Mister dwarf, were your companions slain or kidnapped? I know not of orcs not slaying those they come across, so I would doubt we, or any other power save those they pray to, could help them now."
