Yes Nästród, I believe we are done over here.

I join the dasun in the corridor.

There are two choices for you left on this level, either the north corridor or the south corridor, both of which end in doors. Decide which direction you are going first, so I can anticipate the mapping.

The second door contains a small panel on it, with metal buttons. The buttons have pictures engraved upon them of various images - a frog, a tree, a boar, etc.

Above the small panel are ten rows of small luminescent globes, each row containing 6 globes. As you watch, the top row of globes starts winking out, one by one...

You don't perceive any visible traps. Nor do you find anything helpful in the alchemical lab book. However, Celif finds a page in the journal that talks about stubborn doors:

The lights stop winking out...and suddenly the door slides sideways into the wall, and the short hallway opens up into a room. There, in front of you, is a spectacle - two large tables are in the room. On one table lies Cayden, with various tubes running from his body into nearby tanks. On the other table is a Beastman, also with various tubes running from his body into nearby tanks.

Along the south wall is a large mirror-like surface, and another metal door.

Hmm, I don't really picture Gezzo being that small, particularly on the back of his wolf. I see his eyes about shoulder level to most Valgaardian. The "son" comment was more of a acerbic remark based on him being more than double Flug's age. Fener:
Your perception is immediately focused on the object approaching from the east side of the room.

Nastrod:
Your heal check was not great, but you can plainly see that Cayden appears unconscious. Your Knowledge of engineering leads you to believe that both Cayden and the Beastman are hooked up to some sort of device that is circulating fluids to and from both of them. They are being kept alive for some purpose, and their bodies are being used to sustain some sort of mysterious process.

Thorgrim:
Your perception is immediately focused on the object approaching from the east side of the room.

Celif:
Your extensive medical knowledge lets you rapidly determine that Cayden and the Beastmen are both alive, with normal respiration and pulses. However, both are unconscious, and you suspect each is at some stabilized level of negative hit points. They are both held down on the tables by wide cloth straps. Various lengths of tubing are inserted into their extremities, and it appears that some are delivering fluids to them, and others are extracting fluids. The fluids from both bodies are eventually being combined in the large tank that is greenish in color. The intent, perhaps, is to siphon some element of each of them, and combine them into something new. You observed that happen in the room to the north, when a creature resembling Cayden was "birthed" into the holding tank. Your perception is immediately redirected on the object approaching from the east side of the room .

Gezzo:
Your Detect Magic picks up strong emanations of Conjuration which seem to pervade the entire room! The Beastman on the table does not appear to be one you recognize. You suspect, based on your knowledge of Arcanic principles, that some elements of both Cayden and the Beastman are being used or combined to create a new creature. Your perception is immediately focused on the object approaching from the east side of the room.

From the location of P-18 something that resembles a brass suit of armor glides effortlessly forward, a glowing glass orb scanning back and forth from its helm. It stops near the group as if observing your actions. It stands motionless for a few seconds, and you all observe that its two arms end in metal hands with four "fingers" opposed at 90 degree angles. The left hand clutches an oblong, metal cylindrical object that has a long needle projecting from the front. The right hand clutches a metal shaft which ends in a rounded metal ball.
