Fener and Rudy charge at the doors and hit them at the same time, slamming them back open! Ogre A is thrown back 5 feet! Squares O-5 and O-6 are cleared, and now occupied by Fener and Rudy.
Natural 20 - HooHaa! No attack of opportunity in this instance due to the intervening doors.
Cеlif
If Thorgrim kicked things off with his launch and initiative roll, then Celif's first round would be relocating to Q5 (Move Action) and casting Communal Protection from Evil (Standard Action). That's all she'd have time for this round (not even shucking her pack, I'd think... can't see that as Free or Swift). Since Thorgrim moved away before that point, the recipients would be Gezzo, Lyrha, and Sirena (no change from the original post).

Celif moves to Q-5 and touches Gezzo, Lyrha and Sirena, granting them each one minute of Protection from Evil.

Woman's Voice: Children, show the petulant one what you have learned from your lessons...
Beastmen 1, 2 and 3 each take a 5-foot step to E-6, E-5 and H-5, respectively. All six Beastmen mutter a phrase, and then point a finger at Thorgrim. Potent magical orbs fly from their fingertips and simultaneously slam into Thorgrim 6d4 + 6 ⇒ (2, 1, 3, 3, 4, 3) + 6 = 22 causing 22 points of damage from the forces!
Woman's Voice: We shall lower the veil!
A cloud of smoke appears in the west end of the room. All sight, even darkvision, is ineffective in or through the cloud. Flug feels weak and disoriented by this occurrence! Flug: Make a Fortitude Save.
The map is updated. Turns by Nastrod, Flug, Sirena, Gezzo, Argyros and Thorgrim shall close out this round. No order, take your turn when you are able.
Flug Managarm
Flug feels a slight disorientation when he loses all sight. However, he simply turns around to face what he assumes is the rest of the room.
And now I will use Many Forms as Alter Self to turn into a Bugbear. The only relevant changes to my statistics is that I gain Scent (which I will use to see if the witch is in the area) and +2 Strength.
He exhales and says something that is lost in the sound of the battle before sound itself becomes dissonant, shifted upwards in pitch in a small area around the oracle. In one moment a man stands there, and in the next a bugbear. There is no gradual transformation, no visible shift, merely the fact that where once there was a man, there now is a beast.
It takes a deep sniff, scenting its surroundings before turning to the right, walking until it feels a wall in front of it, then turns left and starts walking forward, taking out a morning star and a buckler, until it escapes the cloud and walks over a pew.
I'm not sure about my movement. I think those are stairs so I'm not sure if I can go through them or go diagonally, but I'll try to end my movement at G-8, taking out my weapons with the move action. If it's not possible to do the movement without provoking an AoO, I'll risk provoking AoOs anyway.
Out of the cloud and in the middle of the room, the bugbear inhales deeply through its nose, attempting to scent if the witch, or another presence it doesn't see, is nearby.
A blurry form a head or two bigger than an average human starts to become apparent at the southern part of the cloud until it reveals itself to be a Bugbear wielding a buckler and a morningstar. If one recalls what Flug had worn, this Bugbear wears the exact same thing only resized for it. Its monstrous form passes over a pew, steps near the middle of the room before taking a large sniff.
Possibly at G-8.

A burly creature emerges from the cloud of smoke, and moves to G-8. It stops and sniffs the air...
Cеlif
The back of Celif's neck tingles as a burly creature, weaponed and apparently ready for a fight, emerges from the dense cloud that had formed over the dais. Oh no, now what! she thinks in dismay. Weren't the odds bad enough already?
Thorgrim Æsgard
Oh, no.. The demons have eaten Flug! AARGH!
I step quickly to the side and succumb to bloodlust. I then hammer one of the beastmen
5 ft. step to I-6, rage, powerattack beastman #5
attack: 1d20 + 9 + 2 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 9 + 2 + 1 - 2 = 23Bonuses: base + bulls strength + bless - power attack. I think I forgot nothing
damage: 1d8 + 6 + 2 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 6 + 2 + 2 + 1 = 15base + bulls strength + power attack + bless
Story Master
|
Thorgrim winds up and strikes Beastman #5 with a mighty blow, inflicting 15 points of damage! Which might actually be 14 points if you counted a point for Bless which would not be applicable.
Sirena mutters to herself, and spends the round sheathing her sword and readying her longbow.

Argyros and Nastrod: If you don't take your turns soon, we shall skip you and move to the top of the next round. You are both stuck in the hallway behind the crowded doorway, so I am not certain you can do much at the present time anyway.
Imowen: Go ahead and post your next turn, as you will go first at the top of the 2nd round.

Round 2
Initiative Order:
1. Imowen
2. Ogres
3. Celif and Fener
4. Beastmen and Marsh Lady
5. Nastrod, Flug, Sirena, Gezzo, Argyros and Thorgrim
Ogre A is slammed backwards 5 feet by the doors being smashed open by Fener and Rudy! As he lurches backwards, Imowen takes advantage of the situation and steps up, stabbing the Ogre in a critical spot for 9 points of damage!
Ogre A howls in anger, turns, and swings at Imowen with its greatclub 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13, but she ducks and the blow misses!
Ogre B moves west 5 feet and tries to strike Thorgrim with its greatclub 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26. The weapon connects 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (2, 3) + 7 = 12 in a crunching blow for 12 points of damage!
Celif and Fener - your turn
Story Master
|
Fener's hand glows with a pale blue radiance as he touches Ogre A, and an incredibly cold emanation causes 10 points of damage! The Ogre reels, staggered!
Rudy snaps his jaws at the Ogre, but misses his bite and trip attempts! Two natural 1's - Yikes!
Both Fener and Rudy slide to either side of the nasty Ogre, flanking the monster and clearing a path to the doorway...
Gezzo Wrathforge
Ah Ha! Gezzo says as he sees an opening. Moving forward he swings with his greatsword. Lryhla's teeth snapping at the beast.
Move to O6
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Crit Confirm: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Crit Damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Lryhla's Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Cеlif
Wow, it got busy fast! Pseudo-retcon: Clearly the intended pack-shucking and door block never had a chance to happen. So, just for reference, Celif's still at an encumbered 20' move.
Seeing Thorgrim take two brutal hits in quick succession, Celif has no choice but to put herself at risk. Hoping so many of her compatriots surrounding the nearest ogre will distract it, she moves to O5.
Channel Energy (healing intent): 2d6 ⇒ (1, 2) = 3

In Initiative Order:
Celif steps forward and channels energy, healing all living creatures within a 30 foot radius for 3 hit points.
A second Bugbear appears next to the first Bugbear. It is identical to the first, down to the armor and weapons carried. It puts a hand on the first Bugbear’s shoulder and smiles.
Beastman #1 moves to E-8 and attacks the first Bugbear with its club 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14, but misses!
Beastman #2 moves to E-7 and attacks the first Bugbear with its club 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9, but swings wildly and misses!
Beastman #3 takes a 5-foot step to H-6 and attacks Thorgrim with its club 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 4 + 2 = 15, but he is able to block the blow!
Beastman #4 moves to M-3 and attacks Imowen with its club 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 4 + 2 = 23. The blow hits her from behind 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 for five points of damage!
Beastman #5 swings its club at Thorgrim 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 4 + 2 = 12, but again he is able to block the blow!
Beastman #6 moves to I-5 and attacks Thorgrim with its club 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 2 = 10, but another timely parry wards off the weapon!
Nastrod peers through the doorway and casts Doom on Ogre A, who (Will Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23) looks puzzled for a brief instant, but appears unaffected.
Gezzo and Lryhla leap forward! Gezzo swings his greatsword down and smashes Ogre A for 9 points of damage! The weapon hits with such force that it continues downward, causing another 11 points of damage! Lryhla growls and bites the Ogre, but then utters a “Yipe!” as the monstrous foe crashes dead on the floor with a resounding PLOP!
Sirena fires an arrow from her longbow at Ogre B, 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20. The shaft flies true, and impales it for 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 five points of damage!
Flug, Argyros and Thorgrim’s actions will conclude this round. The map is updated.
Thorgrim Æsgard
I step to H-5 and power cleave through the adjacent beastmen(3 & 6)
attack@3: 1d20 + 9 + 2 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 9 + 2 + 1 - 2 = 25
damage@3: 1d8 + 6 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 2 + 2 = 11
attack@6: 1d20 + 9 + 2 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 9 + 2 + 1 - 2 = 24
damage@6: 1d8 + 6 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 6 + 2 + 2 = 12

End of Round 2 - The Map Is Updated!
Start of Round 3
Initiative Order:
1. Imowen
2. Ogres
3. Celif and Fener
4. Beastmen and Marsh Lady
5. Nastrod, Flug, Sirena, Gezzo, Argyros and Thorgrim
Cеlif
Celif cringes as she sees Thorgrim collapse. Stepping forward to N5, she desperately pushes healing energy in his direction again.
Okay, a tiny bit of finesse here. Bursts center on line intersections, not squares; see 30' diagram for reference. Origin of this instance is the NW corner of N5 where it touches M4. That causes the area of effect to include H5 where Thorgrim has fallen, but excludes H6 where Beastman #3 stands. Celif is also using her one Selective Channeling exclusion on Beastman #6 at I5 (sorry Imowen, you'll have to re-hurt your beastie).
Channel Energy (healing intent): 2d6 ⇒ (2, 5) = 7
Well that's a little better...
Cеlif
Thank you. Yes, at -2 and still unconscious by my reckoning. But at least he's no longer "bleeding profusely"...
Flug Managarm
He shakes off the touch and attempts to cast a spell on himself while ready to avoid any attacks, his eyes blackening as he begins.
Casting Defensively, Sanctuary on self.
Concentration: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 Target DC 17 = 15 + (1*2)
Eep, natural one.
However, his recent weakness causes him to falter and lose the spell. Cautious, he takes a single step to the stand beside the second bugbear, getting closer to Thorgrim.
5-foot-step to G-7. I didn't accomplish much!
