"Stop picking on my manservant!" Manny shrieks at the fish-critter that commences to beating on the mystically entangled mechanical man.

"You'd think I'd painted a bull-eye on him or something,..."

male Dragonborn Warlock 10 (Dark pact)

"Enough of this. Return to the depths you crawled from demon-spawn."

Determined to end this fight before Seram ends his life, Akahale ignores the illusory restraints placed on him and sends more dark energy coursing towards FM4.

Curse, Blast (Ref) v FM4 (1d20 9=25, 1d10 7=10, 1d8=7). Hopefully that hits. 17 damage to FM4.

The fish-man reels in pain as Akahale blasts him.

Grafire's turn.

M Dragonborn Warlord / LVL 8

Grafire snarls at the fishman4. "Oh you want some to huh??" Grafire then bellows a loud roar and IT feels invigorated.

Lions Roar - 1d20+13=27 Damage - 2d10+5=17
IT can spend a healing surge + 7hp bonus.

As a minor action Grafire tells Seram "By the blessing a Bahamut shake it off, my Barbarian friend. It's merely a flesh wound." Shake it off - He gets a +7 to his next Save roll. Its a bonus from my Charisma. I think its a +7 with my level adjustment. Or is it with out the level adjustment? It would then be a +2 I think.

It's without the level bonus, I believe. FM4 is now bloodied.

Grafire bellows his devotion and hacks at the offensive fish-man.

Manny's turn.

N Warforged Fighter

"It thanks Dragonborn Grafire."

No longer bloodied

Manny covers his ears as Grafire bellows.

"Wow. Sumbody Git that boy sum antacid!" He mutters.

Mandrake then stands up and levels his staff over Rowan's shoulder.

"Don't move,..." He mutters. "Jes' like shootin fish inna barrel,..."

And he lets loose a mystic bolt that careens wildly in the general direction of the fish-man.

1d20+11=15, 2d4+7=13

MM vs. Reflex. Presuming that missed,... ;P

"Yep. That usually happens to the barrel too." He says matter-of-factly to Rowan.

Alderman missed Manny with Dagon's Fang.

Similarly a bolt of dark psychic energy shoots past Mandrake from the Alderman in the doorway.

Rowan has posted his action so... ah now, the fishmen are equidistant from you, so I'll just pick one, let's say FM2, who by the way is bloodied.

Rowan calls on his holy power and flames from heaven lick at the fishman. The foul perversion goggles, partially disorientated by the radiant energy.

>>>>MAP<<<<

IT's turn.

N Warforged Fighter

IT swings IT's hammer in a crushing blow at the 4th fishman, but misses.

male Dragonborn Warlock 10 (Dark pact)

Ahem. Sir DM. Akahale had an extra d8 to his name on his last attack (due to Deathboon bloodying Althanis). Could you very kindly add the following to the damage to FM4? This was my fault, not yours, so feel free to disallow it.

Extra damage to FM4 (1d8=8)

Righto. Done.

Akahale's eyes become black pits and unwholesome energy courses through one of the fishmen. The creature resembles a specimen dredged from the bottom of the ocean, all teeth and eyes, and bright red blood spurts out from it. Yet still it stands.

Fabes DM wrote:

"Great, Just great!" Mutters Manny darkly.

"At this rate, we're gonna be here ALLLllllll day!"

male Dragonborn Warlock 10 (Dark pact)

Akahale's darkened and dangerous eyes turn to the mage as he lurks behind Rowan's other armoured shoulder.

"I believe not Mandrake. Either they or we will embrace the dark before many more minutes have passed."

Death Save 1d20+3=18

Mystic Cultist attacks It - Dagon's Fang 25 vs Fort - 13 psychic damage to IT. Althanis flees. Fishman Slayer attacks It and misses. Fishman Warrior attacks It and misses.

The forces of Dagon batter at the warforged but IT beats them off with ease, only succumbing to a mental onslaught from the cultist.

Akahale's turn

>>>>MAP<<<< (Althanis is no longer there)

INITIATIVE

Block 1
Seram Zal - death save passed - currently on 1 failure
Fishman Warrior
Fishmen Slayer

Block 2
Akahale
Grafire
Mandrake
Alderman

Block 3
Rowan
It
Mystic Cultist
Althanis

male Dragonborn Warlock 10 (Dark pact)

Can you confirm (a) that Akahale is no longer restrained and (b) he has line of sight on Alderman Wrongviews?

You are no longer restrained. Yes, you have line of sight.

male Dragonborn Warlock 10 (Dark pact)

Flicking a claw at the Alderman, Akahale chants menacingly and smiles enigmatically as tendrils of doom flow towards his cursed foes.

Curse Alderman - minor. Cursebite on FM2,FM4, Alderman

Cursebite v FM2, FM4, Alderman (1d20 11=26, 1d20 11=16, 1d20 11=29). Cursed foes within burst range 20 v Fort. So I'm guessing it will have hit FM2 and the Alderman, but not FM4.

Cursebite damage (2d8 4=14)

If anyone can get close enough to make a heal check I can use my last surge

You are correct in your assumption of who got hit.

Akahale unleashes the power of his warlock pact and severely wounds the Alderman and one of the fish-men.

Grafire.

N Warforged Fighter

Please recall that any enemy starting next to IT takes 1d8+2

Thanks - I'd forgotten.

M Dragonborn Warlord / LVL 8

Grafire looks to Seram "Excellent you have awoken. Now feel the inspiration of the power of Bahamut." [minor] Seram can now take his last heal surge with a +2d6 - 1d6=6, 1d6=4 for a total bonus of 10hp

"Seram move back so you can stand my friend." Wolf Pack Tactics on FM4 - 1d20+13=18 vs. AC on a hit allows Seram to shift west 1 sqr to get away so he can stand with out receiving a OA from FM2. Although I think it missed, Damage - 1d10+5=13

He isn't awake. You need to make a Heal check to activate his Second Wind. And you did miss. Sorry :(

Sorry just found it, its a standard action for a Heal check

"Manny got anything that can push those idiots in front of Seram back long enough for me to drag him clear?" Rowan asks Manny.
"If not if I step forward can you drag Seram clear while I hold them off?" Rowan then adds.

Grafire's gone, Manny's up?

Mandrake looks at Rowan and sniffs haughtily.

"I am a wizard. I command the elements, the very fabric of reality itself. I grasp the life blood of the universe and shape it according to my will!"

He grins like a schoolboy on vacation.

"Of COURSE I have something! Watch this!"

Manny takes a step forward with his staff lowered like a spear. He sights along its length with his tongue partially sticking out from between his teeth.

"Screwball, corner pocket,..."

And a now-familiar blast of thunder rolls out from his staff, passing over the prone form of Seram, and barely missing his own servant, to hammer at the fishman and alderman in the doorway.

Move one square SE. Thunderwave vs Fort at fish & Alder, angled so as to miss IT. Hoping that since Seram is prone, it will miss him automatically. If hit they take dmg, & knocked back 2 squares, & knocked prone. Even if they can't be pushed I hope they can't attack while Rowan drags Seram to safety.

To hit Fish:1d20+11=31, DMG: 1d6+8=10

To hit Alderman:1d20+11=21, Dmg:1d6+8=13

OK, Grafire - as what you are trying to do is get him back on his feet, you would need to make a Heal check to activate his Second Wind. It's DC10 - to keep things moving, I'll roll. Heh. Just as well, I rolled 19 unmodified. So, Seram has taken Second Wind, but does not gain the bonus to defences.

Manny - if you move 1 square SE, you can hit the Mystic Cultist as well, and completely avoid Seram by firing on the diagonal. By the way, you hit the fih-man and the alderman. I'll roll for your other attack. I got 23, so that's a hit as well. Remember, you only roll damage once. I'll take your first one.

Seram - you have your surge value in hp and you are prone.

Well atleast I'm among the living now

Manny hit all 3 opponents. Alderman is dead. The Mystic Cultist and FM3 have been pushed 2 squares and they are prone. They're also off the map. Haha.

Mandrake unleashes a blast of sonic might, and the enemy taste the way of pain. The alderman expires, and the others are thrown down the corridor.

Rowan's turn.

Rowan's turn.

Rowan pulls Seram clear and will move to stand where Seram was and prepare to enter melee next round.

If that action didn't use up his standard and move action

Seram is now conscious, in case that makes a difference.

So Rowan can step over him and attack the nearest available foe? Only problem is going to need an amended map to see if he'd have to pursue the pair that went flying off the map?

I shall work on a new map.

male Dragonborn Warlock 10 (Dark pact)

Darkspiral aura now at 2.

Rowan's turn.

Rowan's turn.

Rowan charges into Fishman#2 and unleashes a priest's shield upon his foe.

Rolled a 16+12 for 28 to hit fishman#2 which if it does will do 1d10+5 damage for 7+5 for 12pts of damage

Rowan charges the prone fish-man and guts it like so much stinking cod. Red blood oozes into the corridor floor.

FM2 is now dead.

male Dragonborn Warlock 10 (Dark pact)

Darkspiral aura now 3

It's turn

N Warforged Fighter

IT attempts to push F4 further into the stairwell.

Tide of Iron (1d20+13=23, 1d8+10=12) If succeeds, push fishman one square right and follow into his square

The warforged's olfactory sensors are overloaded by the stench of the fish-man, causing a feedback loop to his attack functions, rendering what might have been a hit into a half-hearted swing.

The remaining cultist steps back and screams, "By the will of the Father!" and Rowan feels darkness stab at his mind, horrific deep sea images threatening his sanity.

Dagon's Fang vs Rowan - 30 vs Fort. Rowan - 9 psychic damage

INITIATIVE

Block 1
Seram Zal (prone)
Fishmen Slayer

Block 2
Akahale
Grafire
Mandrake

Block 3
Rowan
It
Mystic Cultist
Althanis

>>>>MAP<<<<

Seram Zal to play...

Clutching his blade as tighly as possible, the injured barabarin barrels down the hall at the cultist.

Charge the cultist; Howling Strike 1d20+13=25; Damage 2d4+1d6++11=21 damage

M Dragonborn Warlord / LVL 8

Can Seram take advantage of this in his charging attack? Guide the Charge-Trigger: An ally charges -Effect: If the ally hits, he or she adds your Intelligence modifier to the damage roll and pushes the attack’s target 2 squares. The ally can shift 2 squares to remain adjacent to the target.

Oooohhhh, I like

M Dragonborn Warlord / LVL 8

per the rules its an automatic triggered by a charge. So it should work fine. I have been itching to see it work.

I want to see this at work too. Not only does that up the damage to 23, but being able to push and shift is great

Male Human Cleric of Bahamut 8th

Been double checking my sums since finding I missed removing a feat on another character, Rowan's down to 33hp and 6 healing surges. Not my day for keeping count!

Sorry, folks, I have been ill.

Seram zal charges down the hallway and smashes the cultist like a practice dummy.
