Looking forward to some racial conflict. Sounds fun. And the way he sees drow. Even more fun. Especially if she finds out what he thinks
Dregan Hirscherz
Here is a Flag for Anton's Team I discussed with Miyuki.
Hope the others will like it.
Nice (:
Hunter Deadeye
Fyi, my character is also afraid of Drow, but if I ever have to adventure with Zartana, he would be extra nice to her and start flirting with her a little to hide the fact that he is actually afraid of her. He doesn't find Zartana attractive either, so all this false flirting would require bluff checks since it isn't sincere and it would be opposed by Zartana's sense motive.
So yeah, I my character is afraid of Drow too, but since Zartana is female, I'd roleplay it differently than Varitus.
Edit: Although Zartana would be making sense motive checks, the player would know if it is false or not, but the character wouldn't know if he was successful or not unless Zartana told him.

Well if team Darkness has room for a Gnome and his scaly friend that'd be neat. Oh, and you're just dark elves to him, Drow are something he has no knowledge of.
I'll come in in gameplay sometime soon.
We'd be happy to have you. Darkvision is a great leg up and thus far aside from Hunter we seem to have the market cornered of the more odd looking adventurers!
Are you planning on arriving fashionably late to the party at Oleg's or are you holding back on gameplay for another reason?
Josef Orlovsky
Lots of activity and action . . .. NOW to go read the gameplay thread traffic . . ..
And I'm glad to see my post got some open communication going. That is truly all I could have asked to have happen. Even if you don't credit my post for it. <g>

Entangle rulez!
Natalya Artemisa
Natalya seems to have interpreted Valkus as rude. As a player/author, that was not my intention, nor was it Valkus's intention. Valkus doesn't necessarily know that Natalya is a dhampir, and while that interaction appears to have been unsuccessful, it was not due to any intended racist or xenophobic attitudes on Valkus's part.
That's all good, on the face of it nothing Valkus said or did was overtly rude, even if he was trying on his charms! As you say, Valkus has no idea of her species. Any prejudice was solely from Natalya's side, what she saw in him from the other side of the room did not match her actual experience of interaction (where he reminded her very much of a noble-born, whom she has a huge distaste for), hence dropping him like the proverbial potato.
No hard feelings, all is IC ;)
Kazz D'Avore
I am cool being part of team darkness...
Excellent, I did enjoy our brief talk earlier! Though I am curious as no one seems quite sure, who exactly are you working for again?
I seems team darkness has grown to five members thus far.

@ Zoufbal: well you could have your druid arrive late at Oleg's now saying something like "A druid is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to."
@ Hunter: you could really take the paranoid drawback to fit your character and also to gain a new trait, if GM agrees.
@ All: It has been a long day here, good night!
Hunter Deadeye
I'm not trying to make my character paranoid. Sometimes I do that and take the drawback. But honestly I can't help it. When I take paranoid drawback I make my character more paranoid that usual, other times I don't give him the trait but give him mild paranoia for fun without having the effects of the drawback. But like I said, sometimes I can't help it, it's more of a player thing, like I'm actually paranoid about certain things.
LOL, I think, Lord of the Rings. A wizard is never late has changed to Druid/Gnome.
Natalya Artemisa
If we do not get a volunteer, I will ask the Undine to select one instead. Do we have an understanding?
That made me laugh at my desk! Very good :D

Lorald Orlovsky wrote:Well that was a lot to catch up on. What are we going to do with 19 bandits.some have fled.
Not that I'm aware of Hunter, best take another look. We seem to have rounded all of them up.
Kazz D'Avore
Ok, I'm off to bed soon so I'm trying to make my intentions known before I leave.
Kazz will support Team Darkness moving to strike against the bandits. Alternatives are of course invited. If we want to take more people that also works but I'll leave that up to you guys and Mardavig.
CWE, as much as we appreciate you sticking to your character, things might go smoother if you also try to make an effort to get involved in the goings on, no?
Chief White Eagle
I do believe that failed fort saves indicate we are fatigued?
or are we ignoring that fact...
I also believe that we all remained awake the entire night and then had combat in the morning (thus the fort save requirement?) now you wish to run off after a bandit camp.
of course I could be wrong and we don't have to worry about those effects when it is inconvenient.
Which BTW Kass you did fail.. and I did get a nat 1 on the roll. But what the heck lets not worry about that...
Kazz D'Avore
I'm well aware I failed, but we'll have time to make up on sleep this night. Sometimes sacrifices must be made when time is of the essence...
Though not for me personally I'm off to bed. I'll see what you all think in the morning!
Edward, if you think this is bad, wait till you see Damien put under time constraints :P
Chief White Eagle
I will have much better involvement once we break up into groups. its just that at this moment there are far too many players in the pot. If I have something to offer then I will. but first he intends to get a little bit of rest then head out to try and get some food to help feed all these mouths.
also I can only imagine what will happen when in July I will be away from all internet for about 12 or 13 days while doing missionary work
Kazz D'Avore
Very Nice. Good on you mate!
I'm sure we'll get by without you for a couple weeks :) It's for a good cause after all!
Zoufbal, you'd best make an appearance soon. We need to get you and your scaly friend involved. Team Darkness is soon to be shipping out it looks like!

Correct me if I am wrong. Not counting the bottle Oleg gives each of us.
Composite Longbow (+2 str)
Alchemist's Fire- 2
Leather Armor- 21
Dagger
Short Sword- 20
Shortbow- 20
Arrows- 420
Trail Rations- 42
Silver Stag Pin
Horses- 21
Gold- 235
There are 18 of us so an even split of what is split able would be.
Leather Armor
Short Sword
Shortbow
Arrows- 20
Trail Rations- 2
Horse
Gold- 13
Which leaves.
Composite Longbow (+2 str)
Alchemist's Fire- 2
Dagger
Leather Armor- 3
Short Sword- 2
Shortbow- 2
Arrows- 60
Trail Rations- 6
Silver Stag Pin
Horses- 3
Gold- 1
So does anyone want something in the left over, sell the rest, or trade it for something?
Aran Innatven
I am fine with persons taking whatever they already took - so Composite Longbow was taken by Natalia, if she (or anyone else in her team) can use it properly, it's OK with me.
As for the Silver stag pin, it was taken by Raven, and I am fine with her keeping it, or transferring it to Anton, as long as she will provide it to other more lore-knowledgeable members for inspection (to see if we can learn anything of it).
Aran would claim one of the Alchemist Fires, leaving the other one to whomever wants it.
Of course, if anyone is against what is stated above, then I'm guessing we'll simply sell all excess items and divide the loot.
Anton Medvyed
Here I'm still traveling for work, but I've found a internet spot..
I'm fine too with Natalia taking the comp. longbow (She is proficient in it), and Raven could keep the stag pin, after the examination, if it's something not related to Erastil. (see gameplay)
Anton will claim only his personal loot and a few (3) trail rations.
Lorald Orlovsky
Nothing is really useful for Lorald so he will cash in or credit everything but the horse and trail rations. From the left over he would want an extra trail ration.
I think the extra horses should be kept in case anyone loses or injuries one in the future. Otherwise cash in or credit the rest in left overs that is not claimed.
Lorald Orlovsky
Seeing as loot sells for half it's value, here is the unclaimed list. Let me know of any errors as always.
Dagger
Leather Armor- 3
Short Sword- 2
Shortbow- 2
Arrows- 60
Horses- 3
Gold- 1
We should end up with 3 Horses, 58 gp, and 5 sp. Splitting the money/credit between everyone would be 3 gp, 2 sp, and 5 cp each.

How did we go from acquiring 21 horses according to the GM to just 3 horses remaining? I made a post about jumping on a horse, and then see you guys discussing having only 3 horses, so I deleted my post. What happened? I can't see the post where they disappeared. Or are you saying we'll have 3 horses remaining after everyone gets their own horse? (duh, probably that's what you mean) If that's the case, I'll update my character sheet for the horse. I don't need any of the other loot.
Zartana
Yup. Same here. Just a horse for me.
Kazz D'Avore
This is probably a good idea. I also believe that at least a couple of us had mounts to begin with so we should actually have a few more extra horses if we need.
For the time being at least Team Darkness will need to make use of Kenaniah's former horse as he will be leading us to the bandit encampment.
Chief White Eagle
CWE has his own horse then the new one gives us an extra.
but if we can take one of the "prisoners" with us he will need a horse.
Valkus Lebeda
Also, what do others think about trying to take some bandits on as servants as an attempt to reform them? Valkus isn't against branding them, but he would dispute that we have a "right" to kill them, and we aren't required to turn them over to the "authorities".
Lorald Orlovsky
The poster was up for a while, unless I am mistaken he never stated seeing it before so how did he know where it was and to take it down. Lets not get hung up with trying to be so IC that we start using OOC knowledge to over ride things. Poster boards are normally in the open otherwise what is the point. The information was there, taking the poster does nothing but keep others from that point onwards from finding out. Nothing to stop Oleg from putting up another and wondering who is vandalizing his board. ;)
As for the bandits. Lorald is mistrusting by nature, saved his life and others before. He would not support having former bandits along at this time. But he would not be inflexible if the majority of the group agreed to the idea. I would point out that it's kinda close to slavery if you hold the threat of death over them for whatever reason.
