Valkus is a handsome young man in his early twenties. Clear blue eyes sparkle under an unruly shock of wavy dirty blond hair, and a thin mustache adorns his upper lip. His complexion is somewhat light for a Taldan, merely tan rather than bronze. His loose-fitting shirt is tucked into breeches, in turn tucked into knee-high leather boots and a sword hangs from his belt on the left side.
Personality:
Valkus is an expressive, vibrant young man full of whimsy and wonder at the world, and the only thing he loves more than telling a good story is being in one. He has a tendency to treat danger as an adventure, and he fancies himself the protagonist of his own great saga. Though often loud and boisterous, he sometimes falls into a somber mood that can border on melancholy. The philosopher in him is a morose, bitter cynic, in stark contrast to the carefree foppishness he usually indulges in. When these moods come on, he often withdraws into himself, letting his lyre do his talking for him. Whatever the occasion, Valkus always knows a song to fit the mood.
