Firebeard looked all around the door area for any sign of the opening mechanism. He watched Min struggle with the stone with a grin on his face, then went back to searching.

Still having fun And so after deafiting orcs and troll Brave Sir Robbin is in turn dfeated by a mere stone door.

Looking trough the cracks Firebeard can see a well hidden lever he reaches for it and the door opens revealing a large circular cavern.

Piled along the north and west walls are hundreds of humanoid bones. Most are from goblinoids, but a few are from humans as well. The bones are stacked neatly and grouped by body part: ribs, skulls, shins, hands, and so on.

To the north there is a stairwell that goes up a few feet and ends in a solid stone wall.

There is an open passage going west.

A group of knniggits attempted attack, but were repelled. They resorted to an enchanted bomb-tossing."

The stone wall at the top of the stairs is fused into the surrounding walls in a strange manner. Your guess is that this wall wasn't create by manuel labor like the others but rather created by magic in an effort to seal this entrance.

The passage leads to a large graveyard were you find 65 graves stones marking 65 mounds of earth. There doesn't appear to be any other way out of this cavern at first glance.

Human Hp 22/29 AC 23 (+8 Perc; +5 Init; Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6)

Gloin will approach the grave and look to see if there are any markings in order to have a idea on the type of creatures.

A rather large graveyard...

The writing on the stones is in common and the name seems to be a human one.

Human Hp 22/29 AC 23 (+8 Perc; +5 Init; Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6)

A human graveyard well at least this is that. Right then let's turn around going back our way and take the other passage

"Hmm... I seem ta remember an Orc graveyard elsewhere in these tunnels. I wonder if they are connected... There has to more to this place! Why would it be all blocked off like it was.. mebbe there's treasure?"

Human Hp 22/29 AC 23 (+8 Perc; +5 Init; Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6)

Gloin just looks at him rolling his eyes.

(?)

I look at the graves, then turn slowly around, as if to remind myself, back toward the cavern of bones. Then I turn toward the graves again, then back toward the cavern of bones. Finally I stand not facing either, cross my hands over my chest pointing in opposite directions and say

"If the bones are back there, what's buried here?"

Min roll a will save dc 17.

If you fail you attack the party.

Will Save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14 +1 if this is a fear effect.

Well crap. Good luck everyone! DM, do you want to roll my attacks or shall I?

(?)

Does min get a surprise round? or does he kind of begin to go all angry like? Can I make a perception check to tell if he is about to attack us, and thus get a shot at Initiative?

You hear a voice that seems to come from everywhere at once.

"You will not take my treasure! You will not defile this place! I will kill you all and collect your bones!"

Min suddenly begins to tremble and reaches for his sword and charges Ozren running him trough before he can react. Ozren spouts up some blood and collapses to the ground.

Min init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

Firebeard init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22

tie-breaker

Wag init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

Firebeard, Lilly and wags are before Min, Firebeard is after Min.

Situation sounds familiar. But the one i read about got the fighter dominated by an evil female caster as they were ascending a flight of stairs.

(?)

knock it off Min, that's not funny. Look what you did to Ozren. It's going to be so hard to put all that blood back inside of him.

I'm going to try and daze him every round, could the rest of you try to knock him unconscious?

I cast Daze at Min, his save DC is 15

HP 25/25 AC 15 Touch 15 Flat 12; flurry unarmed +4/+4(1d6+3/1d6+3); shuriken +3/+3 (1d2+3/1d2+3); grapple +8; F +5 R +5 W +5 INIT +2 Perc +8 CMB +6 CMD 17

"Min! Wha' th' blasted hells d' ye think ye're doin'?" Firebeard rushes Min, and attempts to wrap the large fighter in his burly arms.

mechanics:

grapple: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18

I see Min has his CMD listed at 19, but I think it should be 18 (2 BAB + 4 STR + 2 DEX). If you don't mind double checking that, as it could have a HUGE effect on this roll

Human Hp 22/29 AC 23 (+8 Perc; +5 Init; Fort +5, Ref +5, Will +6)

Grabbing his weapon gloin takes his time to react in order to see what is happening

Male Human Fighter, 2 | HP: 16/17 | AC: 19/13/16 | Fort: +5 | Ref: + 2 | Will: +2 | Init: +2 | Percept: +2 |

@firebeard; +1 from dodge. "... A creature can also add any circumstance, deflection, dodge, insight, luck, morale, profane, and sacred bonuses to AC to its CMD. Any penalties to a creature's AC also apply to its CMD. A flat-footed creature does not add its Dexterity bonus to its CMD..."

Will vs Daze: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

(?)

Hey stop trying to dodge your friend, you know that only improves your armor class, right?

I knew I should have held up that bottle of rum when I tried to daze him...shoot!

I took advantage of the situation to get rid Of Ozren since his player is gone and at the same time I took away Min's surprise round in order to give everyone else a better chance to prepare. To answer the question yes you are trying to kill everyone.

Wow so many post while I was writing mine O_O. I'm getting a map ready will be up soon.

Male Human Fighter, 2 | HP: 16/17 | AC: 19/13/16 | Fort: +5 | Ref: + 2 | Will: +2 | Init: +2 | Percept: +2 |

Will to resist?: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 + 2 = 12

Min, horrified as his body becomes taken over by an unseen force, struggles helplessly and his limbs are moved against his will.

NOOOOOOO!

His eyes flash wide as Ozen's blood drips from his blade, and he then finds himself running at this nearest friend, sword ready to strike once more.

Charge w/ PA nearest person: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 7 + 2 = 152d6 + 9 ⇒ (5, 1) + 9 = 15

Thoughts rapidly fly through Min's mind, not something that happens often.

'Wags, no! My Maneuver defense is also improved by my dodge!... wait whats an armor class?!'

(?)

I have a few errands to run, so I think I might miss the rest of this encounter, so, just so were clear, I will run, full out run, away from Min with the rest of my actions when my turn comes up - Min, yes I know that see, it was bold, like my character really said it, so I was kind of going for a breaking the forth wall kind of stupid comment that Wags would make :)

Male Human Fighter, 2 | HP: 16/17 | AC: 19/13/16 | Fort: +5 | Ref: + 2 | Will: +2 | Init: +2 | Percept: +2 |

I would like to edit my action to "Charge w/ PA nearest Waglinde". >;p

Wags, Firebeard and Lilly have acted so now is Min's turn.

He needs to make the save vs command and if he makes it he can attack.

No specific target was mentioned so you just attack whoever is closest until someone stops you.

Also Gloin make a knowledge religion check on your turn and anyone else with ranks can also make a check on their turn.

knowledge religion dc 15:

You have seen enough to guess that Min is being possessed by an evil spirit. There is a chance that hitting min with enough positive energy could drive out the spirit.
