Sorry I was distracted I think that there is something wrong with the truck.... anyways. Give out half the food to the clans. Poison and repack the rest. Especially the luxury items. Those will go to the officers first. And let them take half the ammo also. I have more work to do on this truck.....

Cormaeg MacCammon. |

While the rest of the people were working, cormaeg had found a slightly elevated position to set up his autocannon to make a sweep of the land just in case someone snuck up to take them unaware.
This'll do for now...
"How much longer?" He called out.

Wikvaya Shoodii |

I claim plausible deniability. How much of the poison do I have, and is it enough to apply it for what Eirik wants? And we'll probably want those vials of sacred unguent. I'll load up on all the drugs and restock my medical supplies. I'll take the Synth Skin Applicators too. This is a lot of stuff.
Wikvaya retrieves his laxative-poison and muses on looking forward to seeing how it will work.

GM Larkin |

That's 3 times you rolled to do the same basic operation and 3 times you've used the wrong skill. This is the third time I've had to correct you. Please read page 283 of the of the rulebook, or just read what I wrote the first time
The roll is against common lore(Tech) and it's at -10 due to the dying light of the day. Your target is 33 which means you failed by 4 degrees. That means you fixed it for another 5 points but it took you 4 hours and 20min. The vehicle is now lightly damaged.
It's dark when Eirik finishes working on the vehicle and tiredness begins to grow on him heavilly.

You've got enough to poison for 1 meal for an entire platoon. The problem is there is more than 1 meal's worth here and you don't know what they are going to eat first.
With 1 synthskin applicator and a pix and mix of bandages etc, you can upgrade your medikit to an advanced medi-kit. Please list what drugs you take from the vehicle and how much

Garion Valkof |

If he notices them waiting, Garion will check on the locals, and upon learning of the situation begin managing the distribution as best as his wounded fatigued state will allow. He makes a point to work through the pain, to show these natives the resilience of the Emperors servants.

Jermaie Dael |

Jermaie will help to dole out the materials, casually chatting with the locals as he transports the goods.
As he's heading back to the truck for another grab, Jermaie hears Cormaeg's shout and calls back to him. "However long it bloody takes, ya' great big loon. We've got a great big mass o' locals 'ere and a bunch'a goods to dish out. The corp's got some mihgty repairs ta' do to the truck."

Cormaeg MacCammon. |

Touched a nerve there...I only wanted to know if we'd be done today or not...
Instead of answering Jermaie, Cormaeg merely makes a rude gesture, but makes sure to smile while he does it.
"You keep watch for a bit Carvo, I'm getting antsy doing nothing here..."
Letting Carvo take his place behind the autocannon, Cormaeg begins to fieldstrip and clean his boltgun, taking refuge in the old familiar task of getting to know a weapon inside out.

GM Larkin |

The natives take the supplies gracefully, their impatience seemingly disappearing. The 3 men quickly shuffle all the equipment up the cliffs and seem to bring it to just behind the tree-line. Then they themselves disappear into the evening light.
As Eiriks repairs go long into the night, it seems clear that some decisions need to be made.
What is the roata for keeping watch? Will it include Garion and Eirik?
What is the rota for keeping an eye on the prisioners? Will it include Garion and Eirik?
Will you atempt to get back to the camp considering how badly injured Garion is and how dark it has gotten? Garion will have problems with the climb and the vehicle will have to be abandoned? Unless you have another solution...
@Garion - Remember every time you do something that is not bed rest, including guarding the prisioners, you reset the clock for when you can get extended care. You need to have 24hrs bed rest before Wikivaya can roll another medicae for you

Guys make a stretcher and carry the commissar up to camp. Wik see if you can get the natives to help keep watch. Cort your in charge of watch rotation. Neither myself or the commissar will be standing watch til I can get this truck moving. Also ask the natives if the have any cammo netting.
He keeps working on the vehicle till he has to sleep then sleeps in the cab.

Garion Valkof |

At first Garion balks at the idea of any of you carring him as if you are his servants. Heroically, he attempts to carry on make the climb, but it is quickly apparent the task is impossible in his weakened state. Grudgingly, and with much apologies and humility, he would accept the stretcher as necessary and agree to it.

GM Larkin |

Alright, then I guess we'll bring the prisoners with us. GM, would we be able to see our base camp and the ambush area from the hill Erik's describing?
Assuming he's refering to the spot that was being used as a look-out. Yes.
The stretcher is made out of branches and rope. It's crude and uncomfortable but it does the job it's made for. The guardsmen assigned to carry Garion have a hard time of it, having to avoid sheer vertical faces and pass the strecher up large steps. When they get to the top they are so exausted that they have to put him down again to retrieve their breath.
@Wikivaya - I just spotted the rules for healing comrades. If you can pass a -10 medicae test you can reduce the amount of time taken for your comrade to heal
Can I get a rota for the watch and for watching the prisioners. Also, how are the prisioners being kept? Are their hands bound? Are they tied to a tree? Etc?

Cormaeg MacCammon. |

"I can take first watch, might as well do something while I'm up.
I volunteer for duty Corporal."
Didn't they say something about never volunteering for anything in basic training? Hmmm...well, if anyone shots me, I'll know it was a bad idea.

Jermaie Dael |

Yeah, that's true. If they run, it's difficult to shoot them with our hands full with Garion. If we've got three people going with us, Cort, Wikvaya and Jermaie, two of us handle the stretcher while the other keeps a bead on the prisoners. If any tries to escape, we shoot them dead. That work for you guys?
"Cort, what do ya' think the watch rotation should be?" Jermaie asks.

GM Larkin |

That's because you asked not to be. You're too busy doing repairs. Why he forgot Wikivaya on the other hand, I don’t know. Perhaps to keep an eye on Garion
bah fine. Cormeg, jermaie, me then baldur
Sounds disorganised = is disorganised! Mwahahaha
You have been left in charge of watching the prisoners and watching for approaching enemy on your own. Thankfully the prisoners look to be asleep bound to their tree and the valley seems clear. However, the few hours sleep you got don't seem to be enough and your eyes grow heavy...

Jermaie Dael |

"Come on ya' chaste bastard. If ya' fall asleep I'll... wring you out... like a sponge... in a warm bath."
Jermaie startles awake again, startled, but immediately feels his mind go fuzzy again. Jermaie draws chastener and begins to care for it, hoping the distraction might help keep him awake.
"I want Jermaie to take out his sword and start sharpening it. Can I make a check to keep Jermaie awake. If he really starts falling asleep, drastic measures will have to be taken."

Jermaie Dael |

Hrm, it's true Narine hasn't gotten back yet. Trouble is, I don't want to leave those prisoners by themselves to escape. Abandoning my post would also be a breach of orders. Hrm, a toss between two loyalties. I'll key my microbead on an open channel and see if anyone picks up. If not, Jermaie will begin to get worried and will try to contact Baldur. If he still doesn't get a response... I'll have to go looking for them. I care about my people.
Here's a toughness test just in case.
Toughness: 31: 1d100 ⇒ 72
Again in the 70's!
