Any technology, left out in one will become useless. I suggest you do something to shield them, or replace them with more primitive traps like the ones on the northern incline."

Shielding basically just means putting something over them to make sure they can't directly be hit by lightning. It's fundamental and doesn't require a test. However it will make them a little more obvious to the enemy

We don't have many more of the primitive type. And nothing that would stop a trucking going through that path any suggestions?

I ment for more primitive traps that could stop a vehicle but okay.

Nods and calls the squad over. Apparently we have been lucky guys this area is known for bad lighting storms that will tear the mines up unless we shield them a bit. Explains what needs to be done to shield the mines and gets the guys to help. What do we roll?

Yeah I'm hoping you can roll like survival or something to help minimize that cort.

Sorry. Kull will have no suggestions on how to take out a tank. The tactics of his people have been outmaneuver, outpace and avoid!
In fact I'm just going to give it a -10 to what I already rolled using cort's survival skill (in secret). You can offset it by taking up half the mines if you wish.
If you want you can give me a straight perception test to see how well you think the traps are disguised

Awareness is based on perception. Stealth is based on agility, also you can use your camo-cloak

My per is 37 just not sure if its one degree for every ten points or 1+1 for every ten... my agility is 40 and I did forget the cloak but once again is that three or four degrees?

Cormeg spots another patrol of 6 Dominate troopers coming through the valley. He manages to signal the camp and everyone rushes to get into position, but one of the troopers spots him as he watches his squad move up.

Does everyone want to tell me vaguely where they want to position themselves, at the top of the southern side of the valley. I'll try get the map up before I leave for Holidays, but we'll leave off starting until I get back. So you have until tomorrow 5pm GMT to tell me where you want to go. Feel free to roll imitative too

Keep in mind that you will all be setting up under the assumption that they Severan Dominate troops wouldn't spot your lookouts, and so you shall mostly beguin in the center of the map. Eirik and Cormeg will have to set up close to that Tree to the east, as that's the lookout point.

Also, I don't know if I made it clear the last time but being at the cliff's edge, counts as outcrop (AC 6)

Eirik and Cormeg do you want to give me a further -10 awareness {per}, or -10 common lore (War){Int} test

bah I am going out and away from the map, but if you can make a pick a target for me, Cort will with his LAs gun do a called headshot on one-his abilities give him no minuses for range or for doing the called shot, harmon will help out

1d100 ⇒ 24 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 not sure on distance, but that is multiple degrees of a hit :)

BS 48 + 5 + 10 single shot + 10 aim = 73 I assume that's what you were going for. So that's 5 degrees of success. Replacing the 2 rolled for damage with a 5, that's 8 damage.
1 wound on Dominate trooper 2 (the closest) after TB and AC reduction

@Cort - They're wearing the same armour all over so the only way called shot will do any good is if they are in cover. Called shot takes a full action, single shot takes a half action, so I'm going to say you took a single shot, otherwise you would have done no damage.

Okay just wanted to make sure. Shoot the same one cort shot.
1d100 ⇒ 26 32+5+10+10=57 not sure if I'm missing any mods. 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12

Assuming your taking singe shot then your modifiers are only missing the +10 for close range. A bolt gun does 1d10+5 damage pen 4. Also you forgot your tearing dice but it doesn't matter because the 14 damage is enough to kill him after TB reduction

The bolt round blows off the man's leg, and he collapses with a look of horror and confusion on his face.

Troopers 1 and 3 are going to half move into the rough rock cover and both fire at semi-auto Eirik and Cormeg.

The las rounds fire wildly about but the troopers are rushed and only succeed in scorching the tree.

Trooper 4 charges forward and tries to climb the valley wall.
