Game Master Elf King

In the world(s) of the Discs, a great power is, unbeknownst to the people, rising on Shkhari, the desert disc.

All of the attacking spiders' needles meet their marks. A strange blue liquid is emptied into the veins of the victims. After this happens, they all deactivate.

Everyone seems to fight off the effects of the liquid, except Cilla. After being injected with the strange serum the spiders hold in their syringes, she falls down, unconscious. Even though she is defenseless, the spiders don't attack her anymore.

10 more spiders come scuttling towards those that weren't knocked out.

Okay, post actions for Round 2

Fillion feels a poke from the spider and a burning sensation, but nothing seems to really register.

Hmm, must be some sort of acid or poison. Spiders. Poison. That makes sense. Can't let it poke me again. Might get a full hit next time. Should probably warn the others.

"The spiders have poison," he calls out. "Don't let them poke you."

Hopefully, they all know enough not to let attacking beasties poke them anyway. Ah well.

And with that, Fillion takes another swing at the spider.

Human Dungeon Master GM 3

Okay, let’s get this show back on the road.

Round 2
Ashling smashes one of her blades into a spider. Without even a chance of surviving the strike, the construct shatters into even more scrap! Holy crap, that critical was way more than needed, but great.

Fillion, poised with his sword cane, takes a swing at a spider, and again misses.

Gonzo’s finely crafted grenade bounces off the metal carapace of a spider and flies somewhere into the distance. You can hear a loud ‘bang’ as it goes off in a pile of junk.

Same drill for spiders - The spiders stop. There are strange beeping noises in the air, and they crawl towards each other. From where the little robots stood, a strange form rises up out of the dust, a glint of metal glows in the orange-tinted sky of this strange world. ”And I’ll form the head!”

Cilla remains unconscious; slumbering in a deep sleep, dreaming of the little farm-disc Ingal.

Male Fengari Alchemist/3

Gonzo simply stares as the metal beast forms. Any plans?

"I just might have one," says Fillion as he steps back from the spider and pulls some sort of bag from one of the many pockets within his frock coat.

He casts a knowing look at the alchemist figuring he'll recognize what the bag is.

Readied action--when the spiders finish merging together into the uber-spider creature, he tried to hit it with the tanglefoot bag.
Tanglefoot bag: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20 to hit touch AC.

I have a plan as well, keep attacking Almost giggling to herself as she keeps slicing away .

attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20

damage: 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

Male Fengari Alchemist/3

Upon seeing the tanglefoot bag Gonzo grins as he pulls out a brown vial, before yanking the cork free and downing the potion. Suddenly, the small fengari grows, becoming closer to a feathered dwarf than his normal self.
"That will do nicely. Now let's play."
I just drank a strength mutagen, hopefully I'll actually hit.

Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Damage: 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

Human Dungeon Master GM 3

The spider's needles retract into their metal abdomen's as they all transform. In the place of the 15-odd spider constructs is a metallic silver colossus, huge swords where hands would be. There is no face, since there is no head or neck.

Its legs are jointed in multiple places, and a golden triangle is painted on its chest and it charges at you.

Round 3 (Cilla still knocked out)
Ashling determinedly slashes at the robot, actually hitting home, but that doesn't stop it.

The tanglefoot bag that Fillion tosses at the silver giant sticks one of its arms to its side.

Gonzo's attempted attacks bounce off the tough metal hide of the creature as it still charges forward.

With its one functional arm, the construct takes a swing at the closest lifeform; Fillion.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23

"I could use some healing," Fillion says very matter-of-factly (and quite obviously understating the significance of his wounds).

Male Fengari Alchemist/3

Here, Gonzo has an idea if you can stand there just a little longer! The much larger Fengari hurled a odd looking bomb at his ally, before digging through his robes in search of a certain vial.
I'm not completely sure on how I need to roll for the healing bomb.

"Ahh! What are you..." the elf sputters as the bird flings something at him instead of their foes. Then, suddenly, he feels a wash of energy wash across his flesh and sees his wounds heal somewhat.

"Oh. Thanks. Nice trick there," he says making mental note of the bird's quick-thinking.

Human Dungeon Master GM 3

I'ma back. Continuing after a prolonged silence, but we can do it! I believe!

Round 4!

Cilla blinks her eyes as she sits up. Well, that was an interesting dream ..., only to find her acquaintances are facing a large, lanky robot with a strange triangular sigil on its chest. You can post action next turn, but you're still dazed, confused, and have to stand up ...

Meanwhile, just struck by the creature, Fillion lays prostrate. Gonzo throws what seems to be an explosive bomb. However, it simply breaks over Fillion, soaking into his skin and rejuvenating him.

Ashling, determined as ever, slashes at the metallic abomination, but her strikes just bounce off of its hide.

As a person would to a fly who just touched them, the construct takes a swing at Ashling, its would-be damager, with one of its bladed arms.

Robot Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18

F Human Ranger 3

Sorry, I'd stopped checking this thread!

Cilla tries to get to her feet and pick up her sword.

Confusion: 1d100 ⇒ 96

I think this means I attack the nearest creature, which would be...?

F Human Ranger 3

OK, no confusion roll as per discussion thread.

Cilla stands up, ready to strike at the spider.

Sword Cane: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

"Sorry all," Fillion says to his companions as he wobbles awkwardly with his swing, "still a bit light-headed from the blood loss."
