ah lol, I been reading the text and saying that if the item is common or more easily available you can get it ( of course there is restriction how many and in this case around 1-4 I guess) but rare? o.O

Can you give me info which page says that. Seems like I missed it but... hmm, I guess I will just take a look since there is no other reasons anymore for me to get items. I guess woudl be just too much plus no reason to make powerful (1. he is just heretic :D and 2. anyway we start without our equipments expect those which are implanted)

Also, I have found my inspiration for role-playing my PC in Brother Justin Crowe of the tv series Carnivale.

Sort of. There are two ways to gain a Mark. One is to be aligned to a particular god when you have 20 advances upon a single path of devotion. The other is to randomly roll one from Gifts of the Gods. Either way, if you ever cease being aligned with said god, you loose the benefits of that Mark until you regain alignment.

i think we're all chomping at the bit to get this thing going :-)

Alright, if everyone's gear is straitened out, I'll get this up and going tonight.

Okay, just go easy with me, as I'm still learning the rules. I may naturally delay my actions to learn how the rest of you do things so I can follow suit. =)

I've had a thought. This is my first time GMing anything here on the boards. While it's pretty well understood how and when exp is handed out in Pathfinder, it's my understanding that the 40k RPG's are on a per-session basis. Any of you who've played in other 40k RPG's here, how is exp handled in your games? Or just any thoughts in general.

40k is a little different as there are alot of incremental increases in abilities rather than the big 'levels' that PF tends to advance in.

I'd suggest we get exp handed out at the completion of goals, and likely at a time when we're able to spend it immediately.

Radavel probably has a better suggestion though :P

our gm usually gives out XP on the per 100 post basis.

FYI, since I've got the maps for the combat rounds, and they use square grid, it would behoove me to point out that I'll be measuring diagonals 3.5/Pathfinder style. a diagonal move counts as 1-1/2 metres. So the first diagonal would count as one, and the next as two, so on and so forth.

What are you guys' thoughts on the rules in the GM's Kit allowing for the lowering of Infamy and Corruption?

Sorry I haven't posted recently, I'm traveling and don't have the rulebook with me, so I'm a bit at a loss of how to do what's requested/suggested. This is my first time playing this, so I'm not superfamiliar with the rules.

Sorry, I've had a busy past few weeks, and I think you guys just hit a road block. I'll be moving it along as soon as I get off work tonight. Mother-in-Law came to town out of nowhere, nephew had a seizure, and started back my 2nd job. But, no, not dead. Just haven't had time to formulate a post to push you guys into the next scene.

I am hesitating to post for strategic reasons. Hoping that someone aligned with Nurgle (or going that direction) will get involved with the demon before Adoris does.
