Wylka approaches Telos and looks over his wounds. "I'll get you back up and new."
Deciding to save his spells for possibly later, he draws his wand out and touches Telos with it.

Wylka, since Telos was at at least -7 (maybe -8 or -9 by the time you got to him), you may need to give him a second tap of the wand.
Once Telos is again conscious, Cazlin stows his bow and pulls the other halfling to his feet. "Y-you ok?" Serious concern is clear on Cazlin's scaly face.
As far as Wraith and Astingaire's arguments are concerned, Cazlin doesn't have much of an opinion on the remaining thug. He does say "Portal... v-very important." and then tries to clear his throat and explain further, but thinks better of it. Instead, he picks the still-living thug's spiked chain up and heads over to check the way deeper into the sewers.
He listens to try to hear if any more Steel Wyverns may be coming.

Seeing that Telos is still down for the count, he touches him with his wand again.

Once healed, even if not enough to bring you to 0, you become stabilized. So it doesn't go below -2. The 7 extra healing will give you 5 HP. One shy from your max.

He sees the concerned look on Cazlin’s face and shows him where the deep gash used to be. ”Look! All better because of your friend!
He surveys the scene some more. ”Well, I guess we won..?”

Cazlin keeps an eye on on the way forward through the sewers. When he doesn't see anything of interest, he says "L-let's go before m-more arrive." He clears his throat and gives a nervous grin to Gandros "Onward p-prince!"

Looking over the gear of the thugs, you find nothing inherently valuable beyond the contents of Fire Drake's box: 2 smoke sticks, 2 alchemist's fire, and 2 Thunderstones.
You continue to navigate the sewers - it soon becomes very clear that Gandros has only vague idea of where he's going but things go well enough.
As you round the corner a giant pile of refuse stinks to the high heavens and it seems to be...moving a bit.

Someone else with decent ranged attack rolls should have grabbed the alchemist's fires. Looks like we're going to need them.
Cazlin pulls out an acid flask, but looks forwards in dismay. The spiders are all over his allies already, and it seems like there's nowhere safe to throw the flask without dousing them.
I'll wait for the rest of my action once we understand the outcome of Astingaire's questions.

I've got alchemist's fire, but didn't want to incur the splash damage on teammates. I was thinking of just going to town on them with magic missile. If those two can jump in the water, I'll gladly let an a's fire fly.

The spiders are spreading out over the water - it is impeding them somewhat because they are UNABLE to shape.. but they ARE spread out over those squares its just slowing them down a little.
regarding the water, it is flowing to the left but is only about hip length. You can walk there, but it will be at a cost of 4 squares to 1 to reflect the muck and the current.

Aghast at the fact that his clothing and armor are suddenly filled with hundreds of biting arachnids, Astingaire enters the muck infested waters, hoping that the sudden dousing will convince at least some of the creatures to leave him alone. Realizing that he will be dealing with the putrid contents of the water as well as the spiders' poison, he casts resistance on himself.

As soon as Telos tosses the fire and it shatters all over the spiders, you can actually SMELL the chemical reaction happening before it does.
The entire tunnel you now realize is filled some sort of flammable gas which you all instantly become VERY acquainted with!

The flames, both those generated by the fire flask and those from the gas in the chamber INCINERATE

You are quickly able to tell that the path headed north is actually a continuously narrowing gas line and that you need to continue going to the west.

Astingaire acts quickly to the sudden eruption of flames, protecting much of his body from the brunt of the fire. Despite the immense pain from bites and burns, Astingaire remains standing in the putrid water, thankful that he did not fall unconscious and slip below its surface. As he pulls himself out of the water, he begins wondering what could have set off the sudden conflagration.

"Methane is a highly flammable gas that results from the decomposition of organic matter, such as human or animal waste." the man suddenly recalls aloud. Astingaire heads over towards the motionless Telos. "How fares our friend?" he inquires.
Turning to the goddess worshipping cleric, he asks,"Wylka, does your wand still hold healing power for Telos and I? Or shall I call upon Aroden's grace?"

Cazlin dodges, pressing himself flat against the wall to avoid being incinerated, and comes through only partially charred. As the waves of heat clear, he's left gasping for fresh air.
"That w-was c-close..." As he speaks he spots Telos on the ground, badly burned. He drops next to him and does his best to keep him from getting worse.

Being singed badly from the fire, Wylka begins to cough as he expels smoke from his lungs. Seeing a lot of people are hurt, including himself. He channels his energy to heal everyone.

Cazlin wars with himself for a moment about maybe correcting Gandros' misunderstanding, but eventually shrugs. 'Not really important. He can believe it was magic if he likes. Maybe its even better for Telos to be seen as a master?'
Wylka's channeled healing restores the few burns he picked up, his skin becoming less blemished, but no less free of the dreadful flaking. He scratches at his face as he says "T-Thanks to Sh-Shelyn, Wylka."
He also spends a few moments poking around the remains of the spiders to ensure they really are all dead.

Once the party is healed up and ready to continue they must continue to traverse these apparently hyper-deadly sewers. As you follow the line you note all sorts of graffiti all over the tunnel walls - Giant Wyverns drapped in chains seem to be a common one.
Pointing back toward the junction there is an arrow with skulls, bugs, andd a flame ith a circle around it crossed out. There is another arrow pointing south . On this southern arrow is a bowl and a coin and the label "almsman".
You follow the sign and soon in the distance see a dim lantern light as you approach you soon find that it is being held by a toothless beggar who holds a table leg in his left hand and a small terrified boy beside him wielding a chair leg. Behind the two you see the symbol of the bowl with the coin an the key.
The older one looks you all over What be yer intentions. be they peaceful, then may Abadar welcome ya.

"Peaceful, indeed." responds Astingaire. He flashes his holy symbol of Aroden. Then, eyeing the makeshift weapons in the hands of the boy and beggar, he adds, "We pray that your intentions be peaceful as well, though those improvised clubs in your hands would suggest otherwise."

With a softness in her words, "We have no love for the Steel Wyverns. Indeed, we just dispatched their 'Dragon' not too far back. We seek the Alsman."

"Mmm hm!" Cazlin nods in agreement with Wraith and Astingaire. He slings his bow over his back in an effort to show goodwill to these two. Neither of them look like they are particularly eager to fight in any case.
He thinks for a moment on how to state the party's intentions, and slips into saying:
"Kindred spirits stung by steel,
we've burned and bled to beg advice;
for guidance we would make a deal,
your Almsman's help'd be awful nice."
His face contorts in distaste and embarrassment, and he deflects any attempts to clarify what he meant by staring intently at the ceiling.
