One of my characters fought a cave giant some time ago. Was quite awesome :)
Lyssa plans to prevent anyone from going up the stairs, where her ranged allies are. Little does she know about the pirates on the next floor >.< I don't suppose she can hear those with all the fighting, unless the spearman happens to shout for help?

It's quite a text wall, to be honest. Perhaps you could add some white lines in between smaller paragraphs, with each paragraph detailing only the actions of a specific group?

I also didn't notice about the perception roll, as I mentioned earlier on the walls of text are too much. I really can't see the important stuff over the not important stuff. Could you make a summary about what happens with us and what we have to do? Would make stuff a lot clearer. I personally can't keep track of all the pirates so all the hits and misses and whatsnot what they do doesn't matter to me at all. It's also not roleplayed, it's just a big list of happenings, so it doesn't really add to the whole feel of the map either.

Change: Once Lyssa's at the top of the stairs she sees nothing. She decides to continue moving. When Lyssa arrives near the end of the hallway she sees two pirates and a girl in the room to the west, and takes a step into the room.
"Who the heck are you?" Lyssa asks the girl. "Are you with these pirates?"
Not fighting (defensively), so no +3 dodge bonus from Crane Style :(

Indeed it's a girl. She's clad totally in black, including the face and has an odd combat stance.
She faintly shakes her head.
"You should head for the other hallway, i'll deal with these."
Very faintly a blue-ish glimpse can be seen as she flicks her wrist and fingers. Fine lines seem to dance between her and the pirates.
The combat stance the girl has shows faint signs of that of a monk.

The stance is of a sort not widely practiced and rumoured only being taught by a select few masters. One is rumoured to live somewhere in Kharum, but there is no confirmation.

Cutlass then moves in to attack the same guard, again the hit is deflected.
The ranged, hearing the fighting, remains just around the corner out of sight.
