The opposite direction, however, seems to have a few more enemies present. A trio of duergar and a pet bombardier beetle.
The heavy footsteps of the construct leave little room for stealth.

I forgot to mention in its stats, it has 5 feet reach. Earlier when Orland fought it, he didn't provoke from 10 feet away.
The construct enters the chamber, on instruction of Father Burdock.
It draws surprised looks from the guards, seeing one of their mining contraptions following orders of a surface dwarf.

Grint is caught off guard by the sudden flash, but Sivar makes an effort to strike at the duergar as he makes motion to throw the vial.

You'll find plenty of loot anyway.
After healing up (which i assume you will with Orland having taken quite a beating), you follow the rails down the corridor up ahead.
The road splits into a fork, where you see some light ahead, and the soft sound of many picks to your left.

The way splits again, but more forward. One contains a variety of sacks, the other appears to have a wooden barricade.
A set of rails continue further ahead, but both to your left and right are spaces.

Burdock ignores Elsa's rabbling at the newcomers as he tries to tweak the construct's swing speed to hopefully be more accurate next time.
At the next fork, Burdock furrows his brow. "Let's check out that barricade just to make sure nothing nasty is lurking behind it and surprises us later."

Walking along, the tunnel splits again.
The left is unoccupied, but lit, from the right comes the ever increasing sound of picks.
I'm assuming you go there.
Although not as big as the Grand Quarry, this underground mining site is big nonetheless.
From what Orland and Father Burdock can see, there are about 6 duergar, and a few beetles present.
Up ahead, two of them press a prisoner towards a large pit.
"Protests? Down you go."
One of them shoves the prisoner into the pit, where he falls down with a scream.
The two guards look at the nearby prisoners.
"Stay to your work, bound hands are no excuse for your task!"
As they finish shouting, the voice of the prisoner screams with a tone of horror.

Grint notices the faint noise of rumbling eminating from the direction of the hole. He also sees one of the prisoners looking with a brooding gaze towards the guards. A firm looking mongrel kin, he is seemingly the only one with a firm iron ball chained to his leg shackles.
