Lyssa Kail |

CNL: x2, x1, x2 (C negate L, leaves N)
ENG: x1, x2, x2 (1 E negate 1 G, leaves 2 N with +1 G)
If only it were that easy to create some kind of balance in a group :P
Characters with all sorts of motivations, tendancies, and goals. Hopefully we can turn that into some fun party mechanics versus inter-party strife (even with the priest having a couple of scoldings with Lyssa and Sabel :P)
You mean the priest gets scolded by Lyssa, and Sabel tries to matchmake Lyssa and the priest?

GM Chyro |

You know, that goal has eluded me.
Attaining more refined style seems to be the general idea, as well as putting down evil doers. Though you'd have to do some reading up on the examples, prior to you joining up, of how she takes that theory to practice.

GM Chyro |

Sabel tries to matchmake Lyssa and the priest?
No no, Sabel was aiming to match you and Grint together, remember?

GM Chyro |

Hm, yes, then again being Elsa's bodyguard might get you to meet some interesting people.
Why, just now you've met a stoic elf woman and a very intelligent human woman.

Lyssa Kail |

Lyssa originally went to Kharum to study its laws, and simply to check out the festival. The party somehow met up, and started doing things together. Lyssa's currently going along with this, as she likes the company of the others. (Though she won't admit hat easily.)
I plan for Lyssa to dive deeper into local laws, and mastering her fighting style, as the story proceeds. For now, she's still getting a bit more used to the whole travel-with-a-party thing.

GM Chyro |

as well as....
Haha, i'm not revealing personal planned plots.

Sabel Ea'tari |

Actually Sabel just wanted a simple life as not to be pushed to murder people again :) Didn't work out that well sadly. Although she likes going with the flow instead of purifying food and drinks.
As for future plans... I want to make her even more nuts during combat :)

GM Chyro |

Nuts?....i can speculate this is headed for sadistic.

Sabel Ea'tari |

Sadistic would mean she wants cause them pain... She doesn't want that :O She just wants them to fear her and then die, or something like that. But if they would have to suffer before they could die then yes she would make them suffer... but not sadistically!

GM Chyro |

Sadistic would mean she wants cause them pain... She doesn't want that
Huhu...i remember a certain deathtouch and smile moment ^^.
Annnyway, Father Burdock's got some good moments to read in your pre-Burdock venture.

Father Burdock |

I feel like one of these women will be considered a test of association with Torag.
At least there's Grint. Good ol' Grint whose only problem is his affinity for elf weapons.

GM Chyro |

Well.....he's extra happy you teamed up. He was the only male in a 5 membered party.

GM Chyro |

...as well as the 1st to ever fall.
Dreaming dreamy little dreams, while the women finished the fight.

GM Chyro |

These are actually mere young chokers.

GM Chyro |

For Grint & Father Burdock, the dead guard's weapons are on the floor for the taking.

Grint Mavric |

Sorry for my absence, had three days without internet before someone told me how to get access to a new network in our apartment block.
Did we have any idea of what weapons he carried?

GM Chyro |

Welcome back.
Wentioned to father burdock before, the guard was carrying a mace and longsword.

GM Chyro |

You guys must reaaallly like the nurses' office.

GM Chyro |

I'm getting the feeling Grint's internet's taking a nap. Last post was monday.

Grint Mavric |

Yeah, internet is still getting used to its new power I'd reckon, it shuts down from now and then. Also a few busy days (with my gf) make internet access very little.

GM Chyro |

Scanning the hall will take 2 minutes only, provided you take 1 round per square.
Also, could you place yourselves where you'll be when approaching the door.
Will you leave the 2 others in the room or be fine with them following.

Jadwiga Elsa Harcatha |

I have to say that I am 1 million percent against using summoned creatures to set off traps. It REEKS of cheese and metagaming.

GM Chyro |

*Scratches chin with finger.*
No offense, but i felt like that too when 'isabella' was sent to trigger the glyph.
While not forbidden, it's kinda cheesy and i'd rather not.
Let's not waste all that spell potential for sacrificial dummies.

GM Chyro |

Sheesh, i had been overlooking line colors on icons.
Anyway, enemies now come with colored borders!!

Sabel Ea'tari |

To be honest I don't enjoy playing Sabel any more... Everyone is always whining about the summons. When I'm not summoning and using my other damage ability, death's touch, everyone is whining about it. My weapon got taken away so I have no other way to do damage. I played this character because I really liked the contrast between combat and normal life for her but it is being ruined all the time. At the start of the game I used to 'go all out' but soon afterwards I kept holding back because I got a lot of comments about it. It has now gone to the point that I don't enjoy playing her at all any more.
I see two option:
1. I make another character/reroll to replace Sabel
2. I stop

GM Chyro |

I've heard from Lyssa that, the room with the couple, was kind of misunderstood by her and Sabel. Maybe due to misreading, but i described 'standing in a romantic pose'.
However they read it as if they were already 'busy with it', two different things.
Just to point out that, this was a joke scene, not meant as an outright XXX scene. :)

Sabel Ea'tari |

I had a really big 'what the...' moment there indeed.
There have been some PM's back and forth and I have decided to stay for a bit longer and if I keep feeling the same way about Sabel that we will discuss what happens next then.

Sabel Ea'tari |

Thanks :) There have been quite a few small comments about the spells. It's not too bad but it's making playing Sabel less and less fun.

Father Burdock |

Hope I wasn't part of it; Burdock gets to freak out, but he's still new to this arrangement of necromantic elf in the group (along with ice witch, bleed puncher, and a Grints). Dwarf traditionalist and all. Just gotta ease him into it.
All things considered, Burdock's had a rougher time with Lyssa I think :P
If there are some interactions, PM me and we can go over some arrangements that will be acceptable for both of us :)

GM Chyro |

Anyway glad to hear you're sticking.
Speaking of Father Burdock and Lyssa, wouldn't it be funny to see them debating over how to deal with situation X and criminal Y in situation Z.
"redeem"-"punish", "shackle"-"hogtie", "diplomacy"-"fist of fury".

Father Burdock |

Admittedly, I see Burdock as still adjusting to true adventuring life. This has been a lot more bloodshed and crazy in a short amount of time than he's ever had.
But Torag sent him to these folk for a reason. A good reason hopefully :p

GM Chyro |

What's with the flour sadness? Look at the loot list.

GM Chyro |

Due to denying i'm the GM of Death, i have promised my group of PFS to have an avatar of a fluffy animal temporarily, to discourage that assumption. As such between 16:15 and 21:00 today, i'll be less scary of a face.
- Magic Rabbit

GM Chyro |

To our good Father Burdock, i've found the stats file.
Since i was looking for it assuming labeled 'patient' it took me a little to find the file labeled 'Butcher'.
Still anxious to go head to head on the scene?

Grint Mavric |

Perhaps we can do a sort of hit-and-run with it? Fire from one side draw its attention, then that person stays perfectly still and quiet, then the people on the other side fire at it drawing his attention away from the first.
We carry on with this until he dies? Depending on how well this thing can hear. Also we still have that Ear-Piercing Scream scroll, we should use this on him as well.

Lyssa Kail |

If I can hit it just once it'll take 1d4 bleed damage every turn while we drag things out. I'll be able to take one of its hits when I move into melee, as long as it doesn't crit me again. A bit of healing up front would help me, in case it crits and I need to make another attempt at hitting it. And of course Elsa and I would have to renew our mage armor.
Though I have to add I'd rather not face off against this thing. Not without first gaining a couple of levels or having a dedicated healer around.

GM Chyro |

Forgive me if i'm chuckling.....
You can carry on taking potshots till you're growing a bear the same size of your bow. Melee is ill-adviced. That said, you can try here and find out why i named him such, or get to the eventual scene you can gain a proper upper hand.
Other good news, still awaiting official confirmation, i've passed a written exam. Quite happy with that.

GM Chyro |

Burdock gets to freak out, but he's still new to this arrangement of necromantic elf in the group
Yes....i'm playing a gravewalker witch, who's about to head into Castle Dracula, while the group consists of anti-undead PC.
Armored hulk, a demon hunter sharing Grint's pic, a paladin undead scourge, a monk and someone from the Belmont family. I've invested in bluff for obvious reasons.
*whistles*

Father Burdock |

I'll be posting again tomorrow, thanks for waiting.
