Sabel and Burdock take care of talking to any human hating patient we may run into.
Who knows, depends on stealth rolls vs perception rolls.
Did i mention little singing birds inhabit the trees?

Take care Grint! I'll make sure no mailings or arranged marriages occur to Grint while you're away!

GM Chyro |

He'd be too busy being Elsa's bodyguard anyway.

GM Chyro |

*Yawn*....
*Mutters to self*...
maybe i should put camping gear as loot too, in case they want to sleep in a corridor.

GM Chyro |

I couldn't quite imagine something other than the priest for you Sabel. But if that was an image that 'doesn't' scare you, it would be something (i dunno what) that 'would' be actually scary.
After all, you'd see something terrifying if Phantasmal Killer would be cast on you. This one's just not a spell coming after you, but otherwise works like it, the image is made from your own nightmares you actually would fear.
:)
Fear is part of our being.....

Sabel Ea'tari |

Problem is I can't image Sabel as being scared unless the world cracked open or something. She has been tortured to close death and selected by the gods... that would leave little space for real fear. I've tried to make her sound really nervous at least :)

GM Chyro |

Even Lyssa's admitted she's uneasy around the barbed wire guy, so that's a hint of fear :)
Guess where the survey back at Kharum was good/meant for.... ^^

GM Chyro |

Kingsize tarantula it is. :)
Don't worry, this one's the only fear themed one in this madhouse.
I guess Hank's only worry is a very hungry dobermann after his bones.

Sabel Ea'tari |

I look from my characters perspective not from gameplay perspective. The only enemy left is invisible and hunting me. I ready my bow to shoot him. The last time I used creativity to discover invisible enemies it was rendered useless which leaves me shooting him the moment he turns up. If I was in that battle I would ready the bow not drop it to my side and wait for the enemy to show up, that would be utterly stupid.
If I hide behind a cover I expect to be shot if I move from it, same as invisibility.
Could you elaborate on the faint? Don't really know what condition that is.
The reason I responded with 'I had a readied action' is because you had already asked me what I was going to do in the turn and you asked me again.

GM Chyro |

Of course you'd be shot at when leaving cover, but you're still a visible (non concealed) target when you do. I'd say otherwise if he was at a distance where you could properly focus your sight on him/her/it. But this is a point-blank surprise, i find that quite different from a distance shot at someone leaving the cover of an object.
I don't see where i asked twice, after he went invisible i asked to post actions and you all did.
Then at current round, if you mean the 'bold', it was because you were up to roll your fort.

Lyssa Kail |

A readied action is a continuation of the player's turn that's been delayed till a certain trigger occurs. For a readied attack versus an invisible opponent that'd likely be something like "I cast my spell when he becomes visible."
Someone who's invisible stops being invisible when he attacks someone. Thus the attack the opponent makes while invisible happens the way it was planned, but afterward the trigger would occur: the opponent became visible due to his own attack. Because of the trigger's fulfillment, the readied action occurs after the opponent's attack from invisibility. (Sadly, Sabel went down before she could cast her spell...)
Though casting a spell in melee range provokes an AoO, unless it's cast defensively. So if Sabel had still been conscious after the attack and had started casting, she could've still ended up on the floor...

Jadwiga Elsa Harcatha |

The above explanation, which I believe is correct rules wise, is why I dislike readied actions. I mean, I have two postgraduate degrees and I had to read that explanation like 3 times to understand what the heck it meant.
Readied actions are confusing and best left to very specific cases. (Disrupting spellcasting is one that I can think of off the top of my head, bracing for a charge is another) In most cases that I have come across, simply DELAYING actions is usually easier for the GM to adjudicate.

Sabel Ea'tari |

Apart from the readied attacks something isn't right. I looked at the damage rolls and I got 9 damage from the last attack but I was at 20/21HP so why am I suddenly unconscious? Is it from the spell or something? The map HP says my max is 19 but that is also not correct. The way I keep track of my hp I should be at half health.

GM Chyro |

You took the 12 from the snowball earlier, remember?
Even with the 1 hp correction to start with, you took 21 dmg total and are in negatives.

GM Chyro |

No it wasn't..... The Fear's snowball was aimed at you the 1st round, thus you took 12 dmg.

Sabel Ea'tari |

I didn't identify that as a snowball 'Ball of blackness' xD The way you wrote it was not clear for me and it didn't return in any of the round recollections. So I made the roll for staggered not knowing that I also took damage. But it's clear now!

GM Chyro |

Yeah, i wrote that one in a spellcraft spoiler.
:) This guy/girl/thing's all about abnormalities and fear.....you're in the north section of the madhouse after all.

Lyssa Kail |

Personally, I rather like the possibility of readying actions. It feels very natural to me. I can imagine someone trying to anticipate an opponent's next move, thinking something like "If something pops up next to me, I'll whack it!" or "If he shoots that arrow, I'll shoot mine as well!"
I do, however, think one thing's very important when you ready an action in Pathfinder: make very clear what the trigger is. As long as the trigger's clear, the GM knows what to do with the readied action. (Let it occur, or throw it in the thrash bin.)
And for GMs who run PbP games it's often neat if the player's already included an attack roll in a spoiler, in case of a readied attack. That saves a lot of time :P

GM Chyro |

Fear's a few hp from beaten, so unless Lyssa smacks him, it's Elsa's finish.

Jadwiga Elsa Harcatha |

Elsa is about to get feared.....Will save with a -4...not easy to make.

GM Chyro |

You get shaken only, if you were shaken before 'then' it'd be a problem.
Touch AC is a mere 13

GM Chyro |

No, ELSA will be only shaken if she fails.
'You' were hit by an attack that caused you to save or run, taking the Aoo

GM Chyro |

I've added a loot spreadsheet and your inventory.
Please check if there's anything missing on your person.
Misc is anything non-combat, non magical items.

GM Chyro |

Edited the link to the loot sheet, it appeared to be on 'my eyes only'.
Fixed.

Lyssa Kail |

Your plans for the captured robed one?
I let both of them run, and ran past one of them as I headed for the stairs. I didn't capture anyone. (Though one would provoke when moving past me.)
My plan is to block the stairs before either enemy reaches the stairs, thus cutting both off. The other party members would be able to catch up as I kept the men from running.
EDIT: How come both men have somehow moved an additional 20 feet on the map, compared to when I viewed the map an hour ago...? :S

GM Chyro |

Since i moved them only once, from their positions they moved just 1 move action, so i completed the withdraw 2x move action.

Grint Mavric |

Just to give you a heads up, I'll be out for the Easter holidays, starting tomorrow morning, sadly that's about 4 days.
I'll be AFAK (Away from Any Keyboard), during the whole time there. Bot me if needed.

GM Chyro |

I was going to post a map, but the website i make my maps with is being a b!tch and refuses to function.
I'll try coming up with something tomorrow. (later today, it being 0:31 am atm)

GM Chyro |

By 22:00, if Sabel and Lyssa don't post, i'll take their turns for the round.

GM Chyro |

I was wondering, is everyone going 1 class, or will there be a multiclass somewhere along the road?

Jadwiga Elsa Harcatha |

Single Class all the way!

GM Chyro |

I aim to get you lvl 6 or 7 with the campaign's end goal.
But...that could be higher if nice ideas pop to mind. After all, the higher your lvl, the more awesome stuff you guys can pull off.
Add to that the individual goals you wished to see happened, as i PM'ed each of you about early in the game. I've got those on the 'storyboard', but Grint, could you PM me details, you are neutral in goals.
After that we can look at doing some modules.
@ Grint: many PrC can be picked at lvl 6.

GM Chyro |

Additional info, fitting of the great roll, you'd also have learned these sort of zombies don't much share the DR the normal type of zombies have. But since they are agile, they are not restricted by a single slam attack.

GM Chyro |

Hopefully with a little luck, i can make my previous type of maps again.
A cult hideout is much 'prettier' when in details, than in an excell sheet. Curse you Cosmo internet provider's webguard.
