This is Brother Clearchus from the Ultramarines
The following years were a succession of desperate battles during the cleansing of the planet. Getting rid of the creatures was a victory but Clearchus, now a member of Chaplain Cassius' Tyrannic War Veterans found himself wanting for something more. He wanted to hurt back the beast and spent countless hours trying to learn the best tricks to do that job.
Chance (or was it luck ? or fate ? ) made him meet the inquisitor Van Vuygens who told him about the Ordo Xenos' chamber militant and soon after that, he asked to join the Deathwatch. His captain was happy to accept, hoping such a service would purge a promising warrior from the fires that consumed him.
Clearchus has skin the colour or bronze, golden hair and violet eyes that seem to look straight at the soul. He could be the perfect icon for the Angels of Death, knows it and doesn't care. He wants to kill tyranids but doesn't forget his training. He knows his limitations and usually lets the charge to others, preferring to observe, lure the enemy in a trap and use his boltgun at range.
And one more roll :

Brother Metraen |

Well met brother Metraen, it is good to see a brother this far from Baal.
Well met indeed Codicier Camael. It is good fortune we have been brought to Erioch at the same time. I will see that your sarcophagus is tended to then., while saying this Metraen leaned in to give an accolade to his brother before continuing. I am eager to learn of our mission. Surely the menace is grand if Watch Commander Mordigael is asking for help.

Hey TN, if you have room and inclination, I'd be interested at trying my hand at this.
I'm thinking of a Space Wolf assault marine. Will post stats etc soon. My real life Dark Crusade game fell apart a few months back so I'd love to get some more 40k stuff in there.
Background
He didn't remember much of those early days now though. His years of induction, the pain of the gene seed taking hold and the burgeoning prowess of his combat skills took over his life. As a member of a wolf pack, he had hunted orcs through the Ventistian Sound, he had slain Tau and Eldar at the battle of Port Scion and had faced the hated Chaos Marines in numerous skirmishes across the depths of space.
His life as a Blood Brother of the Space Wolves was everything he had wanted, and his devotion to the chapter and the god emperor were beyond doubt.
When the Inquisition had sent their requisition order, the chapter had no doubts in sending Venulf. He was what they all thought a Space Wolf should stand for. Uncompromising, powerful and deadly in close combat. Venulf himself had raged for days when he was first told the news, but after Brother Chaplain Sciux had spoken to him of the Honor and the Example he must show to the other chapters amongst this calling, he had calmed down. He would serve his chapter still in this endeavour, proving to all the strength of the Seed of Russ. None could look upon Venulf and say that the blood of Russ was weak.
For the Emperor, For Russ!
I'll do some more once I've gotten the rolls out of the way.
Cheers

Sure thing. My long recruitment periods are not there to be an annoyance, after all.
One thing, though - I'd have to check, but I think 14 is exceptionally old for a Space Marine Neophyte to be. So do stickler a favor... ;)

I'll fix it in the official background for him. I was basing it off the Space Wolf books by William King but may overestimated age a little. Its been a while since I read it.

Falias Honormane |

I had posted recently on the stats on a Storm Warden Techmarine and here are a little more stat rolls and my background story. I also would like to ask to skip the demeanor roll and take scornful because it would be the most relevant to my background story.
Power Armor History: 1d5 ⇒ 1
Storm Warden Past: 1d5 ⇒ 4
When Falias heard of the metal warriors taking up the strongest warriors to compete against each other, Falias flocked to the arenas.
Falias always followed the codes of honor passed down through the feral tribesman families. However this battle he fought against a man named Ramsay.
Falias took out his sacris claymore and his opponent did the same, they stood at opposite ends of the arena. When the overseer rang the bell, Falias bounded toward Ramsay, poised to swing in a fatal arc. Ramsay sidestepped smartly and countered a blade to Falias. Falias skillfully deflected it and kicked at Ramsay's legs. He fell on his back and just before Falias could swing, he threw a handful of dirt into Falias' face.
When Falias came to and faced Ramsay he saw that the coward had broke the honor code and pulled a firearm during a single combat. Before Falias could move, Ramsay fired the pistol. Falias fell back his chest exploding in pain. But then Falias despite his wounds leapt forward and cut Ramsay down in a blinded rage.
Falias advanced through the ranks of the storm wardens after his successful initiation into the Chapter and was known for his brilliant feats in the Adeptus Mechanicus and precision tactics. Those feats did not go unnoticed by the ever vigilant deathwatch, who watched as he strived for personal glory and challenges and his burning hate for the deceptive and the traitorous.

Venulf |

ok some more rolls to get me into things
Fate 1d10 ⇒ 1
Wounds 1d5 ⇒ 1
Demeanour 1d10 ⇒ 6
Past 1d5 ⇒ 3
Power armour history? 1d5 ⇒ 3
I think that's all for moment. I'll put him together on paper over the weekend. Try to get that transferred to character sometime soon.
If I create a PDF of my character sheet on paper and stick that in photobucket with a link here, will that work for you TN?
Cheers

Venulf |

Well, Venulf's profile is now updated to reflect stats, necessary rolls, the starting talents and skills and the stuff I spent the initial 1000xp on.
Haven't put in equipment yet. That's gonna have to wait till later I'm afraid. Apart from that, he's ready to go assuming I make the cut for the first 8.
cheers

Alcibaddon Vrusk, Dark Angel Techmarine got left behind on the watchfortress?
Ah, gotcha. Sorry about that. :(
Now, as I said, I was going to pick 6-8 characters for this game. With you, cirle, we have 11 applicants. :/
Now, i gave it some thought during the day, and 11 is just too much. Truth be told, 8 is probably too much to start with, but I'm hedging my bets against a dropout or two.
Now, as watch commander, it is my duty to assign suitable marines to the kill team. So, without further berating having to make choices:
Brothers Vrusk, Aeteros, Venulf, Elyas, Camael, Nikeides, Adalricus and Magnus are hereby assigned to the Kill Team Sacramentum Vis.

I have brought shame to my Chapter, as my character sheet had a terrible and pernicious mistake.
Here is the corrected sheet:Alcibbadon Vrusk
