It was not condensation its what my PC is thinking of yours. Your not getting your way so your having a child like temper tantrum. She is an elf after all, to her MOST human are Children, have you seen how condensing they are to other races add to that mega intelligence, Nobility and Lawful evil and well, you get the idea of what she is like. But she is not me :) I am just playing her :)

yes there are better plans, we could just send say two good in getting info to the Inns and wait the night out here, but Man that would be dull for other players. Could take weeks RL. Also pain, nice plan but again your going to have players doing things will other sit around at the docks waiting on the other players. I have seen players walk if they feel their PC has been left out the action for RL weeks at end. Also its kind of prodding the GM to say, when the bad guys do this way. As a GM myself I can of bult at the from players. I like to have to have the odd spin ball going off in a way they did not expect. Much like real life.
Her plan may not be the best but as I said the idea with PbP was to keep every player in the loop and having fun. :)

Actually both froth and alexi dont post quite as often as us. Same for torov and sulfach. Its mainly us four: you, virgil, mordren, and me. So the setup i have actually works great with the PbP

If you have things to do, but you saying from the get go that 2 wait at the docks and 3 wait outside, that means 3 have things to do only from the get go. My way every player is get to be in the action as each team tackles there own inn and its setup. :)

I feel like it's more appropriate for our plan to fit the story thematically than by our schedule. This is only one of many missions and I doubt they all will be similar to this. Everybody is going to shine at some point. But an evil campaign is not one to provide equality among players everytime.

There still has to be some semblance of equality in every type of game, evil or not.

As it is, both methods are going to be taxing on the DM. Not to mention just having this many players is taxing in and of itself.

Also, please leave any ooc concerns in this thread.

Then why not now, knowing how games on here stall and fall, your PCs plan offers 'Jam tomorrow' where my PCs plan is offering Jam it today, :)

We can go around and around on this but I don't want us to wast the other players time while we argument over this. My PC will go with the vote, I feel we have both set out our plans clearly and why we wish them. I think we can let this hold until the other players have voted in game play or here and we can move on etc.

No need for aologies.
But I don't think there of us will be make any friends with the other players if we prolong this to much. They will have things they wish to do and they may even wish to change both our plans. I have made mine as Fixable as I could given three simple locations and some intel collecting. I am a big fan of K.I.S.S for planning and I have always found it the best way to go. :o)

PS: In my real life I am a Software project manager, scrum master, who specialism, is AGILE and SCRUM. Short sprints gets you there :)

I'm a professional couch potato and avid gamer. I live in my mother's basement and wear pajamas through the day. I often sleep with stuffed animals and have been known to suck my thumb. :3

To a point but players can banter and do things around a GM hold up. A player alone with GM NPCs can't, Like the lone PCs in the Bar in Pains Plan.

Perhaps, we should plan a session for the mission and do it in real-time?

I would like to know where the idea of the raiders selling the goods to the locals is coming from, the letter only states that the shipments are being raided, and that they raiders stay at the inns. nothing else

What else would they do with it other than quickly sell it for more booze?

um, sell it to fences? not just random people in the town. and those fences would be affiliated with them, which means they wouldn't reveal their location. This is what I'm talking about when I say asking around won't get us anywhere

We may get lucky enough to find a neutral party fence, but even so after asking who? and how would he know anything beside, "Yeah this strange guy sold me this."

I don't see how. If you are expecting to fight the top dog, and squash a bug instead, seems fine to me.

Pain is treating this like any of his other contracts, he never underestimates his targets, and always devises the best plan of action to swiftly take them out and leave no trace behind.

What she is proposing is that we leave traces behind, and Pain doesn't like that idea.

It was Friday and now it's the weekend. These tend to be the slowest days most of the time. People go out or get things done that they don't have time for. So it's understandable, plus I think some people are on very different time zones sense tons of post happen when I sleep. Personally I am waiting on the DM at the moment. ;)

I'm on eastern standard time for the reccord, but I'm about to switch back to night shift.

There are also a bunch of characters that haven't had posts since mid-week last week, so it seems like all that momentum we had going kind of evaporated. Hopefully, everyone checks back in again soon, or tells us why not.

I thought we wanted to find some pirates to get info. That's what Rileng is doing. If he strikes out again then we got two more taverns, if those are dead ends then Froth's plan can go ahead. Burn the taverns and give Rileng a chance to be far away when you do. xP

Plans aside. It was good to see someone step out and do something. Otherwise we could have been there forever while people argued over who was the smartest sexiest most in charge villain.

I guess we're planning on the move. Actually I miss that you were still there, Hass. I had Froth leave because I essentially thought he was pretty much one of the only ones still there. Seemed like everyone else had just left, with no plan in place. I was kinda like, ah, where is everyone going, we have no plan... What are we even doing?

I was assuming I had no backup on the burning plan, and was acting on the plan to find a pirate, kidnap and torture the info out of him.

Don't know how we can get everyone on the same page again, but it would be nice.

Where are Mordren and Zanya? Seems like we haven't heard from them in a week...

I am waiting until the end of the week, at which point I will remove inactive players and then we can commence at a steadier pace.

I know a few people I could ask, who would probably say yes
But if we do get replacements, we should probably wait till after this mission to do it.

Hope we didn't offend/scare Zanya off for refusing to accept her leadership. In an evil group, jostling for the leadership spot is likely to be pretty rough though.

If we lose people I will probably keep the current group for a bit unless you all feel that we absolutely(tentatively) need replacements.

Our group was pretty large (eight) to start with, so we can probably afford to lose a few...

Malleus: want to carry on for those who are around? If it turns out the ladies are still with us, but have just been temporarily unable to post for a bit, they can always run through whatever they've been doing, and we can assume they were happening concurrently.

Still here. I work 10-12 hr shifts though with a 2 hour commute as well, so I do post when I can.
