It appears that we have lost Zanra and Mordren. Zanra's last post was 9 days ago on the 5th, and Mordren last posted here on the 6th. I'm guessing we will have proceed without them.
Presumably, anyone who decides to skip out on their new obligations to the Dark Ones will be hunted down and eliminated, so in all likelihood, I suppose their characters are either going to ground or making a run for it, which will probably not end well for them...

Keep in mind that while we tend to think of Int and Wis 10 as low scores in RPG terms, they are completely normal stats, and not low at all compares to the general population. Also, while he may look like an Orc (sort of), he's actually over a hundred years old; this is not his first rodeo. He's learned a few things along the way. A berserker doesn't live a hundred years without knowing when and where to rage.

He does if he is tough as hell. ::looks at Froth:: Point made. xP
But really OOC I know your a big brain but I can't use that info now can I. I kept Rileng's actions IC, he does not know enough about Froth, he won't risk him acting like the brute he appears to be. Or doing something unexpected. He is a cautious type and would be the one in closest range should anything go bad.

Didn't realize you were waiting for me; I was waiting for the others to check in. I'll post and then we can move ahead I suppose.

If you are at the other tavern a few streets over, I think you'd be out of range of the Message spell the rest of us are using. I was just asking the others if we should try to let everyone know before starting the action.

Oh, I must have been getting them mixed up. Am I around the tavern where pain is having his confrontation, or is that the one that is a few blocks away?
If he's that close, then I would imagine that he would be included in the message spell, and subsequent conversation, and should know what we know.

            Provoking an Attack of Opportunity
Two kinds of actions can provoke attacks of opportunity: moving out of a threatened square and performing certain actions within a threatened square.
Moving
Moving out of a threatened square usually provokes attacks of opportunity from threatening opponents. There are two common methods of avoiding such an attack—the 5-foot step and the withdraw action.
Performing a Distracting Act
Some actions, when performed in a threatened square, provoke attacks of opportunity as you divert your attention from the battle. Table: Actions in Combat notes many of the actions that provoke attacks of opportunity.
Remember that even actions that normally provoke attacks of opportunity may have exceptions to this rule.

I'm here. I was just waiting on a description for Fringe magic. Do I get to pick one spell from another class's list, or how's that work? Because that's how I initially read it, but I wanted to be sure before I solidified anything.

That's how I read it too; basically pick two spells from any spell-list and you can act as if they were on your own spell list.

DM's probably just hit a real-life speed bump; happens to everyone now and again. I've been quiet since I'm waiting for a reaction to my last post.

DM may want to pick up the habit of checking gameplay everyday regardless of post. It's something I do myself to make sure I don't forget and see if I have something to add anyways. There is also the site which does not update from time to time for some odd reason. ;)

I am gonna kill the one i damaged. @ work so cant make a flavorful post. Il do that when i get home
You sure that's a good idea? I'm pretty sure it's not. Hitting a guy after the fight has potentially ended just automatically restarts the whole fight; there is no point. Unless you want to get into a bloody melee in the middle of a busy street, let 'em go. It's just for now - if they are connected with the pirates, we'll kill them later. If they're not, you can kill them later. It'll be easier later besides as you can just murder them all (in their sleep if you want) instead of being outnumbered and in a stand up fight here and now besides.
