So, you leave dawnmere with your bounty. The return to Aldwall is without problem, in fact some goblin worgriders thank you for killing that harpy last time.
It took hours for desmond to get rid of the unease feelings the mental attack leaved you, but he is fine now.
So, how are we going to divide the treasure?- Say Mirelle
In aldwall...
Almost as soon as you came you are approached by Sven captain at the entrance of the city
Amra
:hey Sven, do remember that goblin you save from the wollf riders? Do you know where she is? - She say without without even saying hi.
@ Vendrick
That day Mythakilis is very busy but the next day he ask for a meeting
in the morning...
Mythakilis(who obviously didn't sleep in the whole night):Now you know what kind of crazy thing people in charge have to endure, I can't wait for the marquiss to return, this job is killing me...Could you do something witht he staff? - Spellcraft or UMD for that

Sven Blodsvin |

To Mirelle:
"Evenly, of course."
To Amra:
"She's in a cave in the forest just outside of town. Why?"

Sven Blodsvin |

"Desmond, Mirelle, I'll be back shortly." he says, and leaves them to walk off with Amra.

Desmond Alfonio |

Desmond shrugs.
"Care to join me at the Inn for a drink, while I regale the patrons with slightly exaggerated tales of our adventures?" he asks Mirelle.

DM. |

@ Sven
Amra:The bosses want to find that goblin Asap, don't ask me why
@ Desmond
You and Mirelle go to the riverside inn (I suppose, there are others option if you wish). Liro is busy, apparently attending some super important new client.
In the meantime, Mirelle and you sit to have a drink, meanwhile next to you there are two adventuring parties. The first one is composed of a tall and muscled brunette, a slim gobling, a hooded bearded man and happy looking young male half-elf. The half elf is singing the tale of how the brave 4 have just defeated the heinous Ogres of the Thundertusk clan.
The second party is composed of a halfling, a dwarf, a gnome and a duergar, they look to the other group like they were noobs.

Sven Blodsvin |

"I know you told me not to ask, but why? She seemed a decent sort. I'd at least like assurances she won't be harmed or mistreated."

Vendrick El'druin |

"Hmm. I'll see what I can do."
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26

DM. |

"I know you told me not to ask, but why? She seemed a decent sort. I'd at least like assurances she won't be harmed or mistreated."
Don't ask why, because I don't know why, but seems very important
@ Vendrick
By studying it in the night, Vendrick unlocked some of the power of the staff. You can use it to cast entangle 5/day.

Sven Blodsvin |

"Take me to them. At least let me be the one to lead them there. She might do something stupid like try to hex them if they show up unannounced."

Vendrick El'druin |

"I've unlocked some power from it though I can only imagine what might still lay hidden."

Desmond Alfonio |

Desmond covers his mouth, as if stifling a yawn.
"Ogres, huh? Well, I'm impressed you managed to put up with their smell."
"Yeah, we just got back from Dawnmere. Turns out the mines were haunted by some kind of otherworldly presence. We fought our way down through the deepest, darkest part of the mines, through searing magical flames, until we happened upon some sort of aberration breeding pool. There must have been thousands, perhaps millions of monsters down there, each more terrifying than the last, and they all attacked us at once! We fought bravely, but couldn't overcome their numbers. When I took down twenty with one thrust of my sword, another two hundred took their place! Eventually we were forced to flee, but then my muscle-bound companion Sven got a brilliant idea. He punched the cave wall once, twice, and on the third strike he caused a cave-in that blocked off the monsters' abyssal den from the outside world."
"And we didn't escape empty-handed either," he says as he produces a sample of black iron. "This is some of the rarest, most powerful material in all of Golarion! When I have it forged into a sword, it will be as light as air and sharp enough to slice right through a rock golem's hide!"
He seems to notice Mirelle sitting next to him for the first time. "Oh, and I forgot to mention Mirelle took out a hundred or so of the creatures with a well-placed fireball, buying Sven enough time to cause the cave-in."
Bluff: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17

@ Vendrick
good... - say Mith somewhat distracted by his thoughts -no wait, it could also bad. With all the revelations of yesterday, It would give me a bad feeling if the goblins are after or already have the leafstaff
Somebody knocks the door, a big woman and a bigger men with rough clothes enters the room.
@ Vendrick and Sven
Amra takes Sven to the one that give the order. Both rangers enter the house of Mythakilis the halfling, counselor of the Marquiss.
Mith: What? don't tell me you can't find the goblin!
@ Desmond
Mirelle almost choke with Desmond little ...exaggerations. The muscled woman look Desmond from top to bottom.
HAHA! that is a good story!, it lack some lightning slinging ogres but a good story nonetheless. Nice to meet you brave warrior, I'm Ulsa from the bear clan of the north, and we are the Asskickers Inc
hooded bearded man: We are totally no called that way

Vendrick El'druin |

"Then perhaps it would be a good idea if I left-" El'druin stops as the door is opened.
"A difficult task to find a goblin...my sincere condolences hunters." El'druin states with a smile.

Sven Blodsvin |

"It's not a matter of finding her. Why do you WANT to find her?"

Sven Blodsvin |

"Somehow I doubt that. But," he sighs "We must follow up on these accusations. Let me talk to her first, maybe I can keep her calm. Follow me."

Vendrick El'druin |

"It'd be my pleasure. Was thinking it was about time I had a look around." El'druin says as he stands.

Sven Blodsvin |

Sven pays attention to the man for the first time. He is not pleased by the implication that he can't handle such a simple assignment himself.
"...And you are?" he says, eyes narrowing.

Vendrick El'druin |

"Vendrick El'druin, a colleague of Mythakilis. Good Huntsman, while I understand your annoyance, there is a rather delicate affair that hangs in the balance."
"Ill try not to get in your way."

Sven Blodsvin |

Sven's dislike for Vendrick increases as he fails to explain what's going on.

Vendrick El'druin |

Once outside,
"The Goblin is apparently responsible for the murder of a powerful political figure in goblin society..."

DM. |

So, you find the cave where Sven advised the goblin to reside. A pack of wolves is somewhere around, and when you approach to the cave they reunite and aggressively stand guard.
Who's there f%&$ dammit? - Shouts the ill-tempered goblin before stepping out the cave.
leave or...wait, I know you, You saved Vraljyiya's life- she scolds the wolves to let you pass -come, come, let Vraljyiya serve her guests, I'm making a soup, I don't have pepper but the cockroaches are crunchy, come with your friends.

Sven Blodsvin |

"Thank you Vraljyiya."
"Any other time I'd be happy to take advantage of your hospitality, but I'm afraid I've come here on business. It appears the goblins of Tuskkeep have accused you of another crime...this time murder of some political figure."
"Would you be willing to answer a few questions about that from Mr. El'druin here?"

Sven Blodsvin |

"Vendrick, lay out the specifics for the accused, at least, since you were so vague on the way here."

Vendrick El'druin |

"She stands accused for the murder of the previous goblin king Asorghal Manyblades." El'druin says rather flatly.
"I don't much care for posturing and politics but either way I'd appreciate it if you went and stood trial so I could get back to my research."

Vendrick El'druin |

"Probably shouldnt talk about killing others in this situation..." El'druin says with his hands neatly folded behind his back.
"Kayoqard is the current King. The plot thickens." Vendrick says, clearly amused.

Sven Blodsvin |

"Interesting. How did you say the King died again?"
"I'm willing to bet someone said "witchcraft", but did anyone check for poison?"

Vendrick El'druin |

"Unlikely, though Im far more interested in whom this goblin is. Nobles of all races dont associate with those of lesser blood. So I wager our so called "witch" here is someone important."

Vendrick El'druin |

"Sounds like a plan. I have a bone to pick with goblins too." Vendrick says ominously.
"If I help you with your succession crisis, I want you to help me find more of the Leafstaffs. Deal?"

Vendrick El'druin |

"Powerful artifacts lost a long time ago. Rumor has it the goblin tribes in this area possess them or know of their whereabouts. I have my own leads on the matter as well." Vendrick says, making it clear he doesn't wish to continue the subject right now.

Desmond Alfonio |

Sorry, it's been a hectic few days of school work.
"Well met, indeed! I am Desmond, master of sword and fist alike! And this is Mirelle, she...casts spells."
"Sven is our muscle, but he's busy at the moment. Probably training his pet crocodile to bite through steel, or something like that."
"By the way," he lowers his voice, "are you guys with Strong and Silent Inc. over there?" he asks, indicating the second party.

Sven Blodsvin |

"Vraljyiya! Don't go stomping off and do anything hasty just yet. If you show up at Tuskkeep they're liable to kill you on sight."

DM. |

@ Sven
I've have to take my chances, this crime can't go unpunished! - She curse to the sky and then spits the ground again.
@ Desmond
This is Lij (the gobling) He likes to burn things. The ahlf elf is mark, he records all our deeds, and the silent man here is Malthus...he doesn't have sense of humor. And those there, I don't know, Liro tell me they are very successful and to not mess with them, but we are just newcomers to the city. So, desmond, destroyer of horde of the million monster, what adventure awaits in your future?

Desmond Alfonio |

Unless new bounties have been posted, the demon thing is the only one left for us to do.
"Apparently there's some kind of demon running around scraping together an undead army. Sounds like it could be fun."
"As far as I know that's the only job available at the moment, but I'm sure something new will pop up soon. This place is like a goldmine for adventurers."

Vendrick El'druin |

Vendrick follows.
"Eh, let's see where this goes, Sven right?"

DM. |

@ Sven, Vendrick
uhm, What do you do?
@ Desmond
There is actually new bounties. Among them, the eradication of pyromaniac-vulture rider goblin tribe, the killing of two harpies that are threatening travelers to in the road to Dawnmere, the search of a lost item in the haunted ruins of Eastkeep.
While you were reading the new bounties, you see Liro coming down with her new clients. Three heavy armored goblins that are guarding a fine dressed thin goblin who use a cane to walk. The goblins leave for now. Liro seems relieved.
