Dom slips his guitar behind himself as Melody gets the tune going. He then starts doing very intricate movements with the water floating above. Many times Dom would use the water to get the crowd more involved, by have the water slip through the crowd almost dancing with them.
Melody continues to play dancing with the beat and the water flow
During the playing she manages to tell Dom Leave kai alone!
apologyRaelle is standing there, stunned, mouth hanging open.
"I think my brain just broke," she muttered.
"Th-thank you."
"Well, good evening." he walks back to the corner, and continues work on his blade.
"Hi Shell. Dave is on stage with me. This just doesn't seem like the place for you guys. There are lots of crazy teen agers here." He is concerned for their safety."Oh. But I wanted to talk with Dave-sama more. He's so nice... and this afternoon was bad. For all of us." Midori pouts slightly at being unable to speak with Dave. Maybe it was a good idea to leave now though, before it got even rowdier."Wait, the dude is made of diamond, "
He looks to Ty "what are you talking about? There's no reason for us to leave?
"just don't wander off. Stay together and don't go near the pipes with the smoke in them. Just do this for your own good. . . And so no one goes in the lake. Got to go solo coming up."

"It's a...new old problem. Somebody I'm not allowed to care about is having trouble, and I can't do anything about it." he says, wheeling the mecha around, heading back. "So ya know, nothing major."

Dom looked to the listeners in the front. Seeing the young girl staring at Dave. Dom reached out his hand to her, inviting her on stage to dance with him. An ice step forms for her to help climb up.

"The sheer power required to mute him....actually.....well, I suppose it might work....we could use Fei as an energy source....but I'm not sure it's a good idea....""Details please, Professor. I can only help if I know what you're talking about."

The problem with muting Ehos's sounds is that he's pulling in such a tremendous amount of power that it's impossible to counter without also pulling in a tremendous amount of power. I was considering whether linking a suppression device to Fei's nanosuit so that his excess kinetic energy would provide the power for it would be a good idea...and then I remembered that my daughter would probably throw a fit if I used her boyfriend as a battery for an experiment." ^.^

Renkai is having a blast
Taron turns puts in a new design into the computer. He watches the data intently, apping the keyboard impatientally as he waits.
Vai arrives a little late to the party, having had dinner with Fei, and then gone to Belyu's room for an outfit. She arrives, looking quite nice in what looks like a half-sundress, half-swimsuit. Anyone who looks at her shoulders will note that there are a pair of blue tattoos along the inside of her shoulder blades. She stays to the outside of the group of people, not wanting to get into the press, and not wanting to get drunk again. It had gone horribly the last time she was drunk. She looks for anyone she knows, outwardly seeming too shy to join the party. But Vai knew her limits. That was just too many people.

Stepping out into the 'party area', Anahita is as before, desert outfit, cotton and khaki colored with the fire and flame embroidery.
No headdress, no shoes. Just the one chain of gold and silver around her left hand, tucked into her wrist sleeve.
She looked around for people she knew, then peered up seeing a familiar firebird soaring in the air. This brought a smile to her face, which resulted in a wave, but then, she was back examining folks and peering over at the stage area where musicians were playing.
Clearly, not quite used to this ..she studied, for now, from the edge at first, but then wandering into the gathering.

Dom knows Melody and he can see that even though she is playing well and appears to be having fun. he knows her well enough to see she is holding back some in her playing. it doesn't have the same passion he remembers.

the figure, standing on the outskirts, looks up, showing his face from his hat. You probably didn't pay him heed until now. He melds a blade in his hands over and over again, and there is a 10-20 ft bubble around him where the crowd won't go, not with him holding that thing, and being ridiculously overdressed.. "hello. You seem stressed."
Belyu gives Melody a thumbs up before she turns and sees Vai in the back. She smiles broadly. And rushes to her newest friend.
"You look great! And you showed up! I know it sounds bad, but I didn't think you would."
"Well, if I'm not needed here to challenge any rude bullies to a duel," she says with a friendly smile at Raelle, "I think it's time for some dancing....care to join me Morrivan?" she asked, holding out her hand.

I think you're right. But the apocalypse already happened, 5 months ago if you recall. At least, you'd think it was the apocalypse the way they reacted at home."
"Your boyfriend is quite talented, Raelle." Ardiente says, just a little stiffly, delivering the compliment a little begrudgingly.
"That's... that's Igni, right? Phoebus." Ardiente had seemed almost about to pounce on him, but then relaxes as Raelle explains what Igni's purpose had been. "A Phoebus who was actually polite? And then Belyu distracts her by rushing up. "I said I would! I keep my word, integrity is important!" She replies playfully, still shying away a little from the tall boy with the molten weapon. "I don't think I'm going to dance, but the music is nice. I heard something about a hot tub?"

Melody then looks down to Bel, smiles. knowing it is useless to get her on stage. Melody just winks at her and continues to play.

Dom loses all his concentration as he hears Renkai. Water he had been holding up suddenly fell to the ground. Splashing members of the audience and the band. Most of the audience took it as there invitation to jump in the lake.
Searching around for a bit, Anahita at one point pauses and does another sweep visually of the area. Her keen eye sight seeking something in particular out.
Spotting Ardiente with others, she smiles briefly before continuing her seeking.
With a light frown, however, and then a pause of expressionless thought, Anahita then walks off towards the duck pond.
Perhaps Bradley was still there.

" nothing of note. Swift movement around someone working with dangerous material is dumb, but you being close isn't an issue as long as you avoid swift movement that could put you at risk. My working with this is safe, so long as no one runs into me."

On her way there, Anahita spots a curiosity - a girl no older than 10 or 11 years old. A girl with shoulder-length matte-black hair (obviously dyed from it's natural colour), golden-hued skin, a fluted pearly white unicorn horn protruding from her forehead, and slit pupils stands almost seeming to enraptured by the performance, her eyes on David in particular. Her skin-tight black clothing looks a little worse for wear - acid splashes perhaps - and there is a holster and toolkit tied around her left leg.

With midori is a roughly twelve year old brown haired apparently human boy, a large scythe on his back, he does not seem to be havering quiet as much fun as midori is, he is wearing black cargo pants and a black hooded jacket, he has one steel grey eye and one blue eye he occasionally talks to himself in a whispered voice.

"My father was the alpha of our pack. When I was still a child and my brother was no more than a cub our uncle organized a coup so he could become the alpha. Not that uncommon among lycan tribes. But he was paranoid. He was afraid that one of us would try to take over from him. I tried to lay low, be just strong enough, but not too strong. I tried to protect my brother. I followed the rules because I thought it would keep him safe. In the end I was wrong. My uncle made up some offense that my brother had supposedly committed. I tried to stop him, but I was just a few seconds too late." His voice was completely toneless as he recited the bare facts of what happened. He was careful not to provide too many details. Grief wasn't an emotion he was comfortable showing.
She laughed, taking his use of her title as a joke. "I would love to. I'm not really a stand on the sidelines type," she said taking his hand and heading out on the dance floor.

"Ack! Ardiente is startled just as much as Raelle as they are drenched in water... and dancing with Raelle just became a much more dangerous prospect. She's just your friend, don't think of her that way. Focus on dancing, not on looking.
"Alright, I've been practicing, get ready!" Ardiente begins with some of basic maneuvers he had been trying with Tamina the evening of the dance, just to see how good Raelle was, before trying anything more complicated. His arms are strong and sure, and he moves with the lithe grace of a martial artist.
