Raelle had to close her eyes and take a deep breath for a moment as Dave lost track of the flames enough that they reached her a little bit. The last thing she needed to deal with was the embarrassment of everyone at the table seeing how very much she liked that.

Krisilanni had forgotten, as he usually did, that most people didn't know that his blood was unique, and that most people didn't use it as a shield or weapon.
