"Paragons, nice, not a bad name, unless we can think of something better we can go with that, but what do you mean ego being a preformer"
"Nothing bad. Just that having an ego, being aware of your own awesomeness is all part of putting on a good stage show, and therefore of being a good performer. It doesn't necessarily make for a better musician, but it can help someone persevere long enough to become a better musician since that cockiness helps get through the early criticisms."

Midori Tsuyomi |

Midori had waited just long enough to hear Ignace-chan tell her story, then the kunoichi pulled the door open and was gone from the room. She doesn't go far though, resting her back on the door and sinking down into a squatting position, looking lost and confused.
She hadn't asked for these feelings either! She just wanted to be Ignace-chan's friend. She couldn't help if her heart fluttered like that, or her pulse quickened! She couldn't help that she thought her friend was lovely!

Ephebe |

Deciding that Sara and Zilla were more likely to get through to Ignace right now than she was, she quietly stepped into the hall and crouched down in front of Midori.
"Would you like to talk about it?" she asked gently.

"Mrs.Ephebe said she could make things so we can be safe from fire. I don't think we will need them though. If we just talk and don't make you sad, we'll be OK. We need to make a pretty dress for Cariban. Do you want to help?"
I was there when Ephebe said that, right?

Grammaton Cleric Royston |

My thinking
Hypercognition
A very underused power, is instantaneous, and lets Royston work out some thing in his hyper aware, hyper fast mental state.
Greater action.
"Where is he teleporting to"
Then fold space, same as D-Door to the same location.
Surprise -> Looking to find out who the peeping tom has pictures of the wee snapper .
Lesser action.
"Who is this?"
Something key about who this is, identification from sent, movement, voice, mannerisms etc.
Of the two I like lesser better, but grater may be fun.
Your call boss.
Let me know what you think
If lesser, Royston can interact with the guy from the woods and walk back the way he came looking for the item he dropped.

Silinrul |

While he may not be aware of Ehos' plan, Silinrul does know the elf has him at a serious disadvantage up among the trees. While the Lycan is quite agile, he is not nearly as nimble as his foe. Thus, he decides to take the battle to back to ground, especially since Ehos made it so easy.
As his sister's boyfriend lands on the branch he's perched on, Sil tackles Ehos, driving him towards the ground.

"It might need some repairs, and it's still quite bright out. The telescope works much better at night... still. It does have a scrying component, the optical just helps it focus. After lunch, would you like to go there? The observatory is a nice, quiet space for you as well." Tyrrin says casually, eating somewhat ravenously after their exertions the previous day.
"It does sound really cool. How far away can I see with it? It it really big or really small? If it's in it's own tower it must be too big to move around at least, right?" He pauses his questions long enough to crunch on some frozen meat and break the ice in his cup to drink.

Please to describe the surroundings, if you would?
Anahita peers around, preparing to adapt as needed to where ever 'here' was. With a glance about, then back to the girl, she says I her normal tone with a smile, "Greetings. I am, as stated earlier, Anahita. I am glad we can finally meet. Are you willing to speak? Or ...is your intentions towards the school a possible hostile one? I would very much appreciate a conversation versus any sort of combat, if you please."
Anahita herself is a Arabic looking Princess, dressed in her white and khaki desert clothing, with wrapped leather strips for sandals. Her hair is currently in a long woven pony tail, dark, thick and wavy, while her dark expressive eyes peered around intensely and curiously, before returning to the young woman with the crimson tattoos.

Rena, the Companion |

Glancing between Rena, Asha and Vare, Tryko'Sam smirks and then says, "If this place had any more gorgeous looking women in it, I might have to start reconsidering whether I finally died or not. But, in any case, so the two of us are dealing with compulsions, and we have an uncomfortable Professor here- actually, aren't you two close? Or is it a brother sister, father daughter thing what is your relationship? Do you like her new figure? The snake thing was rad, but, I wouldn't know what to do without hands and fingers, honestly."
Perhaps he was trying to focus on something else by asking.
"Well, I'd have sex with Vare too." Rena says, looking at her lifelong friend appreciatively... which causes him to splutter, not helping his composure at all. Of course, this earns a smile from Rena. "Even if he's a bit shy about it. But I'm pretty sure Anahita would get... territorial or something, if I did. She seems like the type."
"Hands are wonderful aren't they?" Rena says afterwards, smiling at her friend she had recently stopped. "Maybe I should find someone to help me..."

Agarthian Storyteller |

Strangely, the only things Anahita can see that hasn't become cloudy or blurred is the other girl and herself. Everything else gray and far from clear in several places.
She shakes her head after the word "hostile" and tries to speak, but untold years of silence have left her unable to speak, and she touches her throat to try to explain this.

Midori Tsuyomi |

Deciding that Sara and Zilla were more likely to get through to Ignace right now than she was, she quietly stepped into the hall and crouched down in front of Midori.
"Would you like to talk about it?" she asked gently.
Midori looks up at her sensei, her eyes searching and unsure. "Blackscales-sensei, are you reading my mind too?"

GM Fireclaw |

I like Lesser instead, we'll go with that. :)
Given his analysis of this person, Royston would guess that he's an elf, middle aged, male. Small things in manner indicate that he was likely not a combatant. Despite this, he has considerable Arcane power, and a bulge in his clothing likely indicated a spellbook, meaning Wizard of some sort. Scholarly.

"Someone was reading your mind?" she asked, worried. "It certainly wasn't me. I just noticed that you looked very upset when you left. And when I stepped out to check and see if you were alright, you looked like you weren't."

Ehos Denulia |

While he may not be aware of Ehos' plan, Silinrul does know the elf has him at a serious disadvantage up among the trees. While the Lycan is quite agile, he is not nearly as nimble as his foe. Thus, he decides to take the battle to back to ground, especially since Ehos made it so easy.
As his sister's boyfriend lands on the branch he's perched on, Sil tackles Ehos, driving him towards the ground.
Ehos was partially off the branch already by the time that Sil tackles him, and they both fall hard to the ground below right in front of Jaiye. Ehos looks pained as the larger person lands on top of him after the drop. The elf quickly wriggles free of his grip, sliding out quickly and back to his feet. He knew he was going to lose this now, Sil must've realized his disadvantage...
Ehos suddenly gets a crazed look in his eye. He knew this was stupid as was gonna hurt like hell... and probably wouldn't even work.
The elf moves away and begins to scurry up a tree as fast as possible, jumping up the first couple feet then climbing and jumping up with the practiced ease of someone who had spent their life in the forest. He was obviously trying to get as high as possible.

Midori Tsuyomi |

"Someone was reading your mind?" she asked, worried. "It certainly wasn't me. I just noticed that you looked very upset when you left. And when I stepped out to check and see if you were alright, you looked like you weren't."
"I think Renkai-senpai was reading my mind... he told me... Blackscales-sensei... why do I have all these feelings I don't want?" Midori says without explaining.

Rena, the Companion |

"It's too bad Bradley isn't here...the two of you seemed to be getting very friendly earlier....from what I could see while trying not to crash out of the sky," she said with a smile and a shrug.
"I..." Rena actually gets a small touch of colour at that, smiling a little shyly. "Yeah, maybe. Or Settro... or maybe Dom."

Ehos Denulia |

The Lycan moves several feet away from the tree his Elven opponent just scurried up, and stands at the ready, but unmoving. "I will not follow you up into trees again. I am not a monkey"
Ehos doesn't stop.. he keeps climbing.... up some 150ft to the top of the tree. Once there... he takes a few moments to get his bearings.... then takes a few moments to aim... this is gonna hurt like hell...
The elf jumps, aiming straight down with his feet, aiming to land solidly on Silinrul, using the momentum from his fall, and if Sil moves Ehos will try to grab a branch to realign himself...
Up to you MG, just thought this was more interesting than Ehos losing a slugging match. At least this way he mnight actually do some damage to Sil before he breaks his legs.

Anahita bint Tariq |

Strangely, the only things Anahita can see that hasn't become cloudy or blurred is the other girl and herself. Everything else gray and far from clear in several places.
She shakes her head after the word "hostile" and tries to speak, but untold years of silence have left her unable to speak, and she touches her throat to try to explain this.
Taking a few moments to consider, then peering about to finally focus her attention on the young woman, Anahita nods and says, "I shall assume you are unable to speak, but do not feel alarmed. If we agree to yes and no questions, for your ease of communication, or you can shrug as a third choice, we shall get you to the Prime Material Plane shortly."
Smiling warmly, Anahita then asks, "Before I do this, obviously, I should ask- do you have any reason to remain here? Are you familiar with magic? I could establish a telepathic link for ease of communication, then go from there. Three yes or no questions, and we'll go from there. If I do try to go too fast in my excitement, please hold up both hands to indicate stop, or slow down. I'm thrilled to have found you."

Grammaton Cleric Royston |

Royston looks around then relaxes, dismisses his psipistols and straining his simple uniform like clothing. then he literally runs up the tree to stop and stand, hands behind back, close to the being hidden there, he waits standing at a 90 degree angle to the tree
"I am sorry if I startled you, I was just worried about that being and what it was up so close to the school, I am Grammaton cleric Royston, if you live here in the woods, could I ask your help, I think that being dropped something in his rush to get away from me. Would you be willing to help me look for it"
He is respectfully and polite.

He says simply
"I'm guessing this isn't your idea? Does that mean you and Melody worked things out? And no, I'm not going to interfere with that. I told Melody that I'd support her no matter what she decided. I just want her to be safe and happy."

Tryko'Sam |

Glancing between the two girls, Tryko'Sam is definitely listening to the banter, and then says, "Listen, Rena- I'm not sure if you were this physical before, you did touch a bunch with you tail, but- if there is any reason to take a few moments and consider if your just overwhelmed by emotions or desires, you might want to before going off and getting busy with just anyone. Unless this world or lifestyle doesn't care about sleeping around? A girl's reputation is kinda sacred, I'd hate to see anyone get to know you as the town bicycle."
He glances at Vare to see his reactions.
"Right Prof?"
There's a noticeable twinge in Tryko'Sam's face, and Vare's detect magic would immediately sense the eruption of yet another enchantment spell on Tryko'Sam, while the young man attempts to maintain a facial expression of non-anger.
Where the spell originated from, though, is unseen, but Tryko'Sam is targeted and affected, immediately. It seemed to 'just land' on Tryko'Sam without passing any space in reaching him as a target. The strength of it is very powerful.
"Unless you don't give a s$!* about her!" Tryko'Sam suddenly blurts out in a snarl, and almost immediately has that scowl from earlier. He tries to muster his willpower, but it's obviously not going to be that easy to calm down as the spell works its magic.

Silinrul |

Sil had a bit of an inkling of what Ehos might do, and it was crazy. And incredibly honorable. The elf must know this was a seriously stupid move, as there was no way Silinrul would not be able to react in time to counter.
The shaman was thus stuck for a few brief seconds, trying to decide what to do. He could attack, seriously hurting Ehos. He could counter, which would be painful, but not as bad as an actual attack. Or, he could assist the elf in landing safely.
In the end, he opts for the mid ground and catches his foe, and slaming him to the ground.
As soon as he does so however, he steps back and offers his hand to to assist Ehos up. The duel ending meant the SIM was over and thus Ehos wounds disappeared.
"That was without a doubt the single stupidest thing I have witnessed in a fight. Yet, it also showed just how much you care about my sister. Not only that, but you passed my early test, agreeing to this duel. Sometimes, even though you know you will lose, you must fight for those you love. While I am still not overly thrilled about you, or your being with my sister, for now, you have my word that this is over." He smiles then, "Perhaps, eventually, I will even give you my blessing, for what its worth"

Ephebe |

Ephebe wrote:"Someone was reading your mind?" she asked, worried. "It certainly wasn't me. I just noticed that you looked very upset when you left. "If Renkai was reading your mind without your permission, that's not okay. He might not know it's not okay. I'll talk to him about that."
"As for the other...well, I would guess it's because you're at a difficult age when a lot of things are changing. I can probably give better advice with more information. If you'd like more privacy to talk, we can go to my office...and if you don't want to talk about it now then we can talk later. Whenever you're ready, I'm here to help you."

Damiani |

For those in the SIM room, Ehos, Jaiyne and Silinrul, there is an instant, just as the SIM duel concludes, where it seems to flicker between the forest and default room. Depending on their experiences using the facilities, it might or might not be noticeable.
Needless to say, Ehos' injuries flicker on and off as well. There are a few odd sounds, or noises that don't make sense heard either.
It's almost as if somewhere, a light switch for the place, was flicked on and off thrice, before reverting to normal for the occupants.

Asha Soleil |

Asha jumps in between Tryko'Sam and Vare as soon as she saw Tryko'Sam's expression and tone change.
"Don't do this, Tryko'Sam. If you have to lash out at someone, then let it be me. I can be fixed easily with a little fire. I don't think the same can be said for the professor....maybe if you get it out of your system this will stop," she said, shaking with terror, a stubborn expression on her face.

Agarthian Storyteller |

Smiling warmly, Anahita then asks, "Before I do this, obviously, I should ask- do you have any reason to remain here? Are you familiar with magic? If I do try to go too fast in my excitement, please hold up both hands to indicate stop, or slow down. I'm thrilled to have found you."
She thinks for a moment. She shrugs at the reason to stay, unsure of any reason before now, but nods at the second and third questions quickly enough. To be able to hold a 'verbal' conversation again would be an exquisite treat.

Vare, the Summoner |

Vare is dumbfounded momentarily by Tryko'Sam's sudden outburst, taking a step back but analyzing the aura that had erupted from Tryko'Sam's self. at the same time, his mind always working.
Immediately, he pulls Asha away from the enchanted boy, stepping towards him. Vare didn't have another dispel prepared today, though he did have plenty of other spells available...
But there was something odd here. "Don't, Asha. He's been enchanted again, and... if I'm not mistaken, he might be the source."
Vare knew that he might be futile in his attempt, but he does so anyway, looking the enchanted student in the eyes, knowing that he might be struck for not backing down. Maybe words might help Tryko'Sam muster his willpower though. "Of course I care greatly for her. She's been my lone friend for my whole life. Don't think for a moment that she isn't the most special person in my life." Vare says soberly, truthfully, looking Tryko'Sam directly in the eyes, hoping the young man was able to muster his willpower.

Rena, the Companion |

Rena was momentarily confused at the outburst, but when Vare says that her friend is once again enchanted, Rena quickly steps towards him, placing a hand on his arm, following Vare's lead to attempt to calm him. She doesn't say anything right away, but she's ready to act to protect Vare, her wings already flaring out for balance.

Midori Tsuyomi |

"If Renkai was reading your mind without your permission, that's not okay. He might not know it's not okay. I'll talk to him about that."
"As for the other...well, I would guess it's because you're at a difficult age when a lot of things are changing. I can probably give better advice with more information. "I... yes please, Blackscales-sensei. I don't want to talk about it here." she says worriedly, glacing back at the door.
