I want to like boys and be normal!" she finishes somewhat dejectedly, looking down at herself.

Dom slips his way over to her and places his hands on her cheek. After giving her a kiss he continues. "I'll catch up later." He turns away and waves the guys to the door so Tami could change and they could get to practice.

"We are going to the sewing room to make Cariban a pretty dress. Would it make you feel better if you helped? We can do it on our own, but since you like that, maybe you would like to come with us...?"

Midori pauses for a moment, looking hopefully at her sensei. "There... there are other girls... who... who like girls? Like me?" The amount of hope in that voice right then is simply astounding, as if an enormous weight had been lifted from the young girl's shoulders. Ephebe swears there's a small shimmer in Midori's eyes, but she doesn't allow the tears to come out.
"I... I won't tell Ignace-chan, I promise. I don't want to hurt her or betray her Blackscales-sensei. I'm not even sure I understand the point of all this stuff. All I know is that I want to be near Ignace-chan alot."
