He shakes his head, just a little mournfully. "No, I just... the last time I said I could do something alone... I got my parents killed."
"Indeed. Jeran, take point as before please, I will watch our flank."
Jeran nodded and moved along the hall ahead of the other two, staying alert.
"You must have a hard time with meals...you can use the elementary school cafeteria if you want, you know. There are usually less people there," she said, grabbing his arm to pull him out of the way of a young boy who couldn't see where he was going over the tall stack of pancakes he was carrying. "I'll make sure you don't run into anything."
She led the way out of the cafeteria and to the white room.
"I usually try to come early to avoid all these people. Thank you, Ms. Aananda." he replies, expertly following her guidance, not flinching anymore. Such a sign should indicate that he was putting his trust in her that she would not guide him astray. "I did have a tray dumped on me once. That was not enjoyable."
Asha nodded, afraid to speak because she might cry if she tried. She'd never had a friend before, certainly not one who would fight for her and protect her.
"Thank you," she said, giving Rena a fierce hug.
Once again Asha could feel Rena's powerful strength coiled up in the womanly figure as Rena wrapped both arms and wings around her friend. Rena could definitely back up her claim of guarding her friend with that much power. "You don't have to thank me Asha. Just being your friend is enough thanks."

If you push her, it could undo all of the progress she's made."
"Lang, sometimes the only way to get the girl is to just be her friend for as long as it takes. I can't guarantee that she'll ever feel the same way about you that you feel about her. But what I know of Ignace tells me she isn't ready for those kind of feelings yet. I think the best thing you can do is apologize for what you said and accept that you can only be her friend for now."

I do enjoy being her friend. and I really want to help her. I will just have to accept the fact that just might be all we will ever be. but I will never stop caring about her. I promised to be there if she ever needed me, for anything. You have given me something to think about.

Tryko'Sam walked out of the restroom, having freshened up after his breakdown. The hallways were tending to look the same to him, probably due to their changing qualities.
After a moment of consideration, he touched the arrows and sought out the SIM room he'd been working out of, thankfully that crazy biology studing robot female robot was no where to see since Friday- then again, he wasn't too sure she had been real, truth be told.
Something about the wisdom from the mouth of babes, or whatever the expression was. Nice of that Chinese kid to help out, he'd have to thank him again later, but hanging out with kids and flying owls, didn't sit right.

This time when she speaks both Sun and Simba understand it.
well, first of all it is the only willow tree in the garden, second it was the first spot we met Sorun, which was Lang's first real friend here at the school. also It is a very pretty tree and during the summer you can picnic near the base and the branches all hang low like a curtain for privacy if you want that sort of thing.
I also remember it was here that Lang met with Ignace for their first outing together.
