In this case, the characters had a remarkable lack of traction in spite of being part of the social group that interacted with the most PCs. They didn't even work well as comic relief. So I decided to take the opportunity to have their exit be emotionally meaningful. Normally that's my criteria for character death, it somehow serves the story.

Hmm, I recall one divination spell allowing you to spot the sensor, but not which one. I had thought it was Scrying, but I don't see that in the description, unless its elsewhere.

Ice says his feat lets you see a sensor, and claims its a 3.5 thing. Yet in both PF and 3.x, you can see a sensor, with a check.
Did the feat allow it to apply to all creatures, regardless of Int score and sans a check?

It just seems riviarti is nowhere near as awsome as i intended. It's a let down, and thus I've been upset.
I'm going to throw this out here, see what it hits:
The sensor is invisible. A stationary invisible anything gets a +40 to Stealth. Said sensor, if immobile, should have its DC be 40+spell level.
Also, Dami, this is very close to pvp, and thus, you should probably actually roll Perception. Unless Ice says its cool you don't or you did via PM.
Also, is Riv a teacher or a PC? There's definitely some cool divination boosting abilities/PrCs out there, if you want to make her fully focused on that, both sides of her gestalt included.

No need to roll with a high perception, just take 10.
It's not stealth.
The dc to notice a skrying sensor is always 20+spell level.
Just train the feat at the school into one that makes your sensors imperceptible if you want them to be. Fairly equivalent. :)
On another note, just spent 3 hours dressed as Rudolph. Handed out candy, hugged people, took pictures. I had on a big head costume so I could make mad faces in the pictures and they didn't know! XD
On the back of that note because I'm out of paper, I don't know what Tybs will do when Dom leaves too. Several factors, I suppose.
