as a note Grim Jr is the only other character I can think of who is immortal and also has a gender... unless you count Lang's reincarnation as immortality
both Lang and Mel cannot be champions because of their immortalty / near immortality status.
Timelords (if not killed early several times) has a lifespan of about 10k*13 subjective years
for this game that is close enough for immortality to count.
I am so bored, I'm currently watching someone speed run /sonic06/.
I have no characters who are eligible to be champions except Prof Nix. Three of the other four are effectively immortal and the other is truly immortal.
EDIT:
Effectively Immortal = will not die of natural causes, but can be killed.
Truly Immortal = cannot ever be truly killed.
For Champions, iirc, "close" enough does not count. Since a Timelord will eventually die, they are not immortal. Also I am not sure how the Patrons would handle someone who regenerates like a Timelord does.
I was under the impression that timelords lived longer than that? Well, I was doing my best with incomplete info... Regardless the regenerations make things fuzzy at best and not something someone would want to deal with in the current contentious environment between patrons. These things are easier to sneak in during more peaceful times. :)

Also, any association with pritty much anything with the aberration type makes zif angry.
Had lim-mor compared her to a actual naga, she would have been a good deal more upset.
I thought Nagaji was the term for Nagas as a race. Guess it's a good thing I was wrong...

Vare and Genosuke should probably have a chat about their curriculum at some point, considering that Vare probably has some overlap in his class. He doesn't know there's a Planar Studies course, and he considers that part of Conjuration anyway. I imagine Vare's class is on the more practical aspects (ie: directly relating to conjuring, summoning, binding, etc)
Genosuke actually teaches the specifics of do's and don'ts for each plane and it's denizens, and takes them on field trips to the planes.
It's more of a "how to be a responsible planar vistor/citizen" kind of class, than the mechanical study of rotes to get there.
Think Social Studies for the Planes.
Obviously, there are some planes he doesn't take the students to...

Yeah, that sounds about right to me.
When I was originally designing Vare, I was debating him also being an oracle as well, so he could also teach the Healing aspect of Conjuration, but decided against it since there are already healing focused classes.
About what time is it in game?
I would say around mid afternoon, I don't think much later than 3pm or so.
