You would be amazed at some of transformations Ive seen.

A friend and I spent some cq hours watching videos of guys go from looking like guys to really looking like girls in like ten to fifteen minutes. Just add clothes, make up, and a stuffed bra. Its scary. I knew right then I would never get girlfriend, for fear that she might be a he.

Speaking of fire...

Another Triad member has had class levels assigned. His/her/it's mastery of fire is reall cool. (Hehe, pun :p )

So, in the scene where you folks are watching Trko'Sam getting repeatedly attacked by a group of bug armored folks, why the pause ... Planning the next move, or politely waiting for someone?

Or to try a more colorful route.

"Arg! Someone get these native spear hurling and biting things off me! This really hurts!"

Thoughts? Not quite sure who's waiting on what to act, though I suspect it's one of two reasons.

well, several people have said they wanted to slow down any scene with lyn in it because she feels bad, and asha is one of her characters

Personally, Rena is just giving time for Asha to respond before jumping into the fray (presumably with Lim-Mor's help). Asha may decide against Rena's wishes after all, and join Rena in the rescue attempt. /shrugs.

Don't want to make assumptions about the actions of Lyn's character, after all. :)

That was one of the suspicions.

M'kay. Waiting for Asha input, works for me.

Thankfully this means less stabbing, clawing and/or knifing (maybe biting too) while we wait.

@Magic: to be fair, I could easily switch it to cold or acid or electricity and still have no problem.

@Dave: dunno yet.

Why does he/she/it have to be an elementalist? They're so common. There's like, four ice people, a small moon+ of fire people, two or three lightning people, ≈4 acid people, 2 or 3 force people, 3 or 4 poison people... Elements are just too common. Why don't you try the classic RPG archetypes instead?

Smartly pants, if time here equaled time in game, these students would be wasting their lives away over minor events in their fictional lives!

Who says those things aren't possible in the school? She hasn't been around, but Shara, the female version of the Juggernaut, is a sunder/bull rush specialist.

Juco and Maru are my skilled fighters/buff/defuff characters.

It's not been shown, but Ormarr is actually my heavy damage dealer. So is Lysander, and that has been shown.

As the GM of the situation, I'd have gone with much less of a familiarity, but, your 15 roll makes it a moot point.

I'm going to ignore the range, cause then it's gonna irritate some folks, I'm sure determining plant width, geography, etc. my understanding is that there's a hodgepodge of cultures all over the place, maybe patch work like across the planet.

Just remember, you've only seen the location for roughly ten seconds or so, through the illusion of the SIM room projection. Teleporting ain't like that sexy Dimension Door! Love me the Dimension Door.

Familiarity: “Very familiar” is a place where you have been very often and where you feel at home. “Studied carefully” is a place you know well, either because you can currently physically see it or you've been there often. “Seen casually” is a place that you have seen more than once but with which you are not very familiar. “Viewed once” is a place that you have seen once, possibly using magic such as scrying.

Note the last line.

My logic was, a) he wasn't Scrying, and b) it'd only really been studied second hand through the SIM recreation.

All in all, moot point, due to his roll. :)

Couple quick notes. One, I know it's a moot point now, but if it comes up again I have to agree that someplace that is currently being displayed on a screen counts as currently viewed.

Also, we don't use initiative in this game. This isn't an oversight. It's a conscious choice.

Will post more later. Just wanted to make a note of both of those things.
